We met a couple for lunch last weekend. Sat out on the patio. The breeze was fresh and invigorating, the food superb, but the guy had a habit that caught my eye early on which I couldn't get used to. He was a crotch grabber. No, not mine. His. And he did this throughout lunch. I'm certain he had no knowledge of his actions. The crotch grabbing usually preceded adjusting his position in the chair, or when he was about to make a point in the conversation. It drove me nuts. I would look into his eyes, listening intently as he spoke, while my peripheral vision captured every squeeze he gave his package, each slide of his hand between his thighs when he crossed his legs. I had no interest in him sexually because of this annoying habit. What habits would keep you from swinging with a person?

So we got a message from a couple on one of the sites we are on that says we can’t stop looking at your pictures can you give us access to your private pictures! Open their profile and there is not one single picture on it. Meanwhile we have close to a hundred pics of both of us on our profiles. Why in the hell would we want to give access to our private folder when we already put ourselves out there so much and they have put absolutely no effort into giving anything of themselves? Are people really that clueless about what it takes to get interest back?

One Word / Sentence I Hate? Been reading a lot of profiles / messages of late and I have discovered I really don't like the word “Discreet” I hate it in fact. I mean what does even mean? Does it mean you won't tell anyone? Does it mean your going to sneak in my house under the cover of darkness? Does it just mean your cheating? Does it mean you have a really high flying job? Does it mean your paranoid? Are you going to wear a disguise? You know the only explanation you get is..... Discreet. Secondly I have also come to dislike the sentence, or question. What you looking for then? What you into? Well I'm looking to win the lottery thanks and I'm fairly into eating ice cream. You know like I'm on a swingers site for sex, what do you think I'm here for to make balloon animals. I think that's what I'm going to do, when someone asks what I'm into / what I'm looking for then I'm just go give the crazies answer possible, you know I'm here to learn about naked jam making, or that I'm a test pilot for Viagra's new secret drug Any words.... Questions..... Sentences that annoy the hell out of you in this lifestyle? An please don't say Sun & Moon.... Of Cliffy!

It doesn't take much profile reading to come across overused/overrated cliches and phrases in swinger profiles... and I SO hate using/reading cliches! Here are a few just from this morning's surfing.... - We are not Ken and Barbie - Cum out and play - We can go all night - ...that just won't quit - Notches in the headboard - Won't take one for the team - Well hung - No drama Can you add to the list? Or do you have other pet peeves when reading profiles, things that turn you off before you even get to email a person? I think a little honest critiquing here could be really helpful in writing a great profile

Just had to rant a bit. How sucky is it when you dress up to meet a couple, only to be met with track pants or work clothes? We ALWAYS dress up whenever we are about to meet a couple. Especially the Mrs., she does her hair, make-up, sexy clothes etc. We recently met a couple where they commented that if they had known we were dressing up they would have dressed up as well . Luckily this was the first time in a long time this has happened. But back a few years ago the Mrs. would get mad because she would spend the time dressing up, only to be greeted with jeans and a t-shirt. Apparently it's not common knowledge to dress up when you are meeting up with a couple that you might have sex with? -
Hi all. Is it me, or is the trend toward listings such as "Her: 5' 6" 0 lbs." becoming more frequent? I'm not sure what the issue is here; it's not like we're not going to discover your proportions if we meet? I generally pass such profiles by, in the expectation that someone who posts in that manner will not be forthright on other subjects. Am I reading too much in here? Another trend I'm noticing is the inclusion of the phrase "We're picky (choosy, selective, etc.) because we can be. In general, I see this used in profiles that list the authors as "Fit and work out daily as you should be". I suppose I could take this phrase to mean that the couple is picky because they're not in any hurry and they just want to be careful of their selection of play partners, but it comes across to me as rather conceited. Again, perhaps I'm reading too much in here, which is why I'm putting this out there for other folks to chime in on. Thanks!!!!!- 18 replies

Do you have those couples/singles that every weekend, when you are deciding what to do, you notice they are signed up for every event within 50 miles? Don't be one of those couples. Make a freaking decision and pick one. We know a few couples that do this and it really pisses us off because we don't know which event to go to avoid seeing them Just kidding, but we have asked and they tell us, well, we like to see what offers we are going to get from people signed up and make the best decision. Use the "hot date" or similar hook up options for that if you really want to get laid that weekend. The damn thing shows us people from 300 miles away. It will get your profile probably more attention. There are always at least three or four couples, every event, signed up for every event. Don't be one of those couples! It just makes you look desperate but more importantly than that, the hosts use the sign-up lists to plan according, snacks, mixers, etc. Some more than others but if I was a host of an event and noticed people that did this...I'd have to block them. Just our opinion. -

For those that write nice profiles, thanks, for those that fit the above, thank you for making it so easy to spot you so we don't waste our time.

Yeah, I'm looking for cock, but so many are so aggressive and the replies are so goofy that sometimes I just throw my hands up in the air. They write for Example: So, when can we fuck. #1 I'd like to fuck you and think your hot. I'm 6'3 200lbs and well hung. #2. Well, it doesn't tell me anything but this guy is goofy if he thinks that I'm just going to go meet up with him. He didn't say anything about his interests sexually or anything..and didn't include a photo. This is what I get 90% of the time. #3. I think swingers sites should include a diagram of what people should put about themselves, and no matter what , they should always have a photo in their profile. Cause' 9x's out of 10 they aren't real anyway if they aren't including a photo. This is what I've always experienced. And...when they don't include a photo, sometimes they are just plain self-conscious. We went to a club we frequent last night to see old friends and maybe meet some new. A large part of the "meeting new friends" and "connecting with old friends" has to do with conversation. A conversation regarding something important to you and them or just idle chatter, but either way you have to be able to hear them. As I sit here writing this and trying to not sound whiney my ears are ringing. The volume of the band's equipment, the barker with the microphone who was advertising drink specials and talking about the new Thursday Ladies Night and even the music when the previous two weren't on was way too loud. Earsplitting to be exact...several made comments to me and I wondered how I was going to "chat up" the lovely woman that I'd had my eye on for a while. I made a good attempt but her and I just had to agree to make contact this week and her and her husband and Mrs. Ekies and I could meet for dinner. No real question here, just an observation and complaint... Thanks to those who took the time to read my bitching. -
Ok let me lay some background on our weekend...me and the mrs. went to nashville last night to go tour favorite club and we had fun over all. Met this couple that seemed cool, they were nice, we danced, alot of grinding going on, chemistry seemed to be there, and then we decided to play, so we got a private room at the club. It was really hot watching the other Mrs going down on my wife and some heavy foreplay. Then the other Mrs had not gotten naked yet. Although I soon found myself in a situation finding out that she looked better with clothes on, and I lost the mood totally after that. However, I was polite, this couple finishes with each other anyway, so it just accelerated her going back to her husband. Me and the Mrs... just made out while they finished, and didn't make a seen. We had a fun night anyway, all things considered. I know what does this have to do with profiles. Now if it wasn't bad enough that I was turned off, when we got home, me and the mrs. decided to just go look at the profile SLS and I started reading their profile. I get a couple of minutes into the profile, and my wife points out the weight that they had posted. Don't get me wrong we realize that many probably understate or underestimate by 10 lbs., but this couple had understated by 40-50 lbs on the female half and 20-30 lbs on male half. This just made the situation worse, because I thought I was being nice by not causing a scene. However, now I'm sitting here viewing these individuals as blatant liars. Someone, Please tell me have you found yourself in a situation where you wanted someone to put their clothes back on, and what did you do? (keep in mind, I'm not the Ken doll, and that we really aren't that superficial) Also, More Importantly: Please tell me what are your views on this obviously blatant False Advertising on profiles for swinging/dating sites?:eek:
