Help me warm hubby up to the idea of swinging!
Babysteps replied to Txwife's topic in Curious About Swinging?
FOUR YEARS! Anybody got anything to say about that? That's embarrassing! -
Simpy because they have an equal attraction for the both parts of the other couple? Maybe she don't mind as much seeing her husband with another woman because she likes watching her as well? This is certainly a possibility, however, I believe that if you are going to have some difficulty seeing your husband interacting with another woman, that difficulty will be there regardless of what your sexual preference status is. Which has made me wonder if the straight females do have a harder time overcoming mental blocks of worry and insecurity. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, IT'S USUALLY A DUCK! LOL. Insecurity is insecurity, no matter what your sexual preference status is.

Pet Peeves in Swinger Personal Ads
Babysteps replied to SnozzberryBlu's topic in Finding People to Swing With
Ok, here's my pet peeve. Now I know why we're all here, and what our motivations are, and that the "end result" we're all in search of IS of an adult nature.......BUT......is it really necessary to spell out IN SUCH A GRAPHIC MANNER, the types of activities sought, descriptions of body parts, etc. Maybe I'm wrong, and it's a GOOD thing to be so specific, but to me, it sometimes comes off in bad taste. -
K......been thinkin about this a bit......the "usuals" don't really do it for me, ( Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise etc). Don't know how many might know him, but I'd do Sam Elliott, also Robert Duvall ( about 10 years ago ). Possibly Darth Vader too......something about that heavy breathing thing he has going on.....lol. Ohhh yaa.....Harrison Ford for sure.

Too Funny!! -
Sweetheart, as per our previous conversation about this......I STILL say, your going to have to take the bottom, 'cuz when those BONEY, skeletal hands pop out of the ground, they are going to touch YOU first......hence giving me plenty of time to run for help!

I REALLY enjoyed your perspective/comparison, wonderfully written.

To dburton, You have expressed yourself well.....you are in fact "me".....many of the same thoughts, fears etc., your curiosity has ( lucky for you ), brought you here.....a wealth of advice, take advantage of it!! To all of the members who took the time to share their thoughts and feelings.....GREAT advice......I commend you as always! -
I don't think that jdavisauto's intent was to LITERALLY imply that we are "broken"......I think he (?) only meant this as a more delicate way to get the point across......and he DID mention that it IS a "special time"......as it is!

No, YOUR WRONG......SOOOOO WRONG! I'm not looking to "divert" any attention, I don't stick my head in the sand! I'M FRUSTRATED, NOT IN FEAR OF WHAT CHOOSING TO NOT SWING WILL DO TO MY RELATIONSHIP. Again, I fear that you have misinterpretted the SPIRIT in which I write. And THIS I completely disagree with also, I don't even understand how you could say such a thing. One must not "grasp" the concept before one possibly engages in it?? Don't rule me out yet So what your saying here is that since I haven't IMMEDIATELY understood this, I never will, and I might as well just forget about it. You don't think I should be asking others more experienced the questions that I might have? Or bounce ideas off of them? Not even make an effort? I'm frustrated, want to keep an open mind. But I guess I might as well just forget about it. Again....soooo wrong, you've misunderstood. And yes, your right, and probably love me even more for it. I think your saying I'm a little too deep, not frivolous enough??

And THANK YOU for that Sarah! I DO have lots more I'd like to say, But I'm starting to wonder if Ya'll might be thinking, "OKAY! ENOUGH ALREADY! YOU EITHER GET IT OR YA DON'T!" And if I need to stop, please don't hesitate to let me know. I don't want to "beat it till it's dead"......lol. Like I said before, just looking at all the angles, playing devil's advocate. And the truth of the matter IS.....I DON'T really have THIS much time to spend online,(lol), but I AM enjoying this, and I'm learning! A veritable WEALTH of knowledge here! I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity to interact with Ya'll!
