One of the best thing about a swingers club visit is getting to check everyone out to enjoy the scenery and find out who you might want to get to know better. One of the questions, which should be in Club Wear or some place, but is sometimes asked in this forum is How should we dress for swinging? It occurred to my evil old mind that it would be fun for our members to post pictures of themselves when leaving to play, whether to a special couple's house or to a club. Please specify. Just take a quick pic and post it in this forum. You can mess up the faces if you want. I wish I had a picture of Mrs. Alura in her black jump suit which, when released behind her neck, would slither down her body into a molten heap around her feet. Alas, we never thought to take one. Husband and I finally made it to a hotel swingers session and I have several questions. The first is why do so many women wear stockings - stay ups or with a garter belt? Is it to look sexy to the men or is it to feel more sexy themselves? And they DO WEAR THEM while having sex.

First post on the forums! So of course it's about clothes. So we're thinking that maybe we might try clubs or parties sometime, and even just in general I'd like to figure out what I could wear on dates and such that others would consider in the category of "impress" that doesn't make me feel like I'm playing dress-up. I mean, I'm 36, but get mistaken for a college student all the time and that's how I like it. Not interested in the typical porn "hotwife" look even though I'm a vixen. I've been to about 3 clubs in my life and those were goth (those were the days...). I don't think there's a day in the last year I've gone without a beanie (even to church)! I do cute anime girl style... layers of textures, quirky colors, skinny jeans, Doc Martens. Oh yeah, and I have hypermobile joints so I'm not allowed to wear high heels or anything where I have to wrestle into it or put my hands over my head. I'm smallish and slightly Mom-bod-chubby. Ideas? Brands? Help! (would do pics but just realised I have the mom problem... I have no full-length photos of myself or really very many without my kids in them too! Might try to fix that soon) -
Last night at our first swinger event we saw some amazing outfits! For the fishnet body stockings, those are easy enough to find on ebay or at the local toy stores. But the dynamite dresses that look so hot and are clearly only appropriate for swinger lifestyle events....where do you shop for those? Thanks!

So we went to our first on-premise club Saturday and while we had a great time, we were amazed at the variety of clothes people were wearing. We got into a discussion about what outfits are the sexiest and so we thought we'd post a poll. For the record, Mr. Ivory likes women who wear sexy dresses with some skin, but not showing everything. Mrs. Ivory likes her men wearing casual (jeans, button down shirt) but well fitting--why doesn't the oversized trend just die already?! -
So in looking at the clubs and their code on dress attire, I notice that pretty much all of them stipulate "no work clothes." I am kind of assuming they mostly mean "don't come in the clothes that you go out and do construction in" or just not to wear something that is too conservative and not sexy. But I actually kind of like the idea of the whole naughty secretary look and its something I could easily do with the wardrobe I have. I mean I would spice it up a bit obviously, but I know there is a huge preference out there for the naughty secretary thing. So my question is, if these are technically office clothes but they are done in a really sexy way, could that still pose a problem? Does this kind of thing fall more under a costumed theme night? Does anyone think a club would turn this kind of thing down?

Hi! My husband & I are new to swinging--we decided to jump in this past February. Since then, we have been to clubs, joined SLS, gone to 2 hotel parties and had a handful of experiences playing. We are DEFINITELY enjoying our new "hobby"! The one thing that I've struggled with, however, is that there's a fair amount of dissonance between my identity/appearance and the image/appearance of many women in the lifestyle. Basically, I'd describe myself as an educated woman, a feminist, a yoga-loving punk-rock chick in her mid 40's. I am stylish but definitely not girly in a traditional sense. And you know what? I *like* that about me. I like being comfortable and casual. Given a choice between high heels and Doc Martens, you know I'm going for the Docs. More to the point, I just can't see myself ever adopting the look of many of the female swingers I see at clubs and in SLS profiles because so much of it goes directly against my feminist views. When we first joined SLS, I was honestly freaked out by how many profiles' main pictures were of women's bare asses all up in the camera. Not that I have anything against butts, but it just turned me off. Overall, it bothers me how a lot of swinger imagery reflects a type of femininity that I just can't get with...and I guess the best way to describe the look I see many women going for is an R (or X)-rated Barbie look. I guess my point is that this image is just not who I am, and I am wondering if there is a place in the wonderful world of swinging for someone like me.

I am new to the site but have posted several questions so far and have received great advice. It is making the LS decisions easier. So my question is clothing. I was a corporate housewife for many years. Very conservative in my appearance. Now that I am divorced and in a relationship again I am beginning to feel sexy again. If you are on SLS you can look us up to see what we look like. I am tall and thin. I have no boobs because of zero body fat. I am in great shape. I have fantastic shoulders and abs. I can say that but believe it only when I see pictures. As a woman, we always see our flaws. I guess since I live in Maryland, close to DC and Baltimore, where are places to shop for sexy clothing but not slutty. I want a corset or bustier but because of being challenged in the chest department. I'm not sure if that is the way to go. I want to be sexy for my partner and any playmates. My partner never offers opinions. Silly man!!!!

I am attending an event tomorrow and each attendee gets a short photo shoot - only time for one outfit. I find myself indecisive about what to wear. I first thought sexy librarian, but as I was getting things together, I saw some other options. 1. Sexy librarian - classy, but with a slutty twist - never worn this anywhere. 2. Dominatrix - black vinyl with matching stripper combat boots - this I've worn before, BUT I am also loaning it to a friend for her shoot. 3. Club dress - a creamy gold halter, very short and very skimpy - never worn this anywhere. I have been keeping the options a secret from hubby as a surprise. I am leaning toward the club dress, but hope to get a little feedback here to help make my decision. I am putting it in this forum because I know the pics will end up on our profile. So, what should I wear?

My husband and I are planning for some upcoming club attendance. I really am lost on what to wear. I know we have a few discussions on clothes around here. I want to feel good, feel I look good and have fun but I just don't know what's right for me. I'd love to do something different than I'd go out to dinner in. I am five feet tall with a bit of a pear shape. I said in other posts that low cut tops and short skirts don't really flatter me except in certain cuts and styles. Normally when I dress up, I go for soft and clingy women's tees or tops and long skirts. I seem to pull off cute since the compliments I do get are "ohh you're soo cute; everyone look how cute she is". Soo, what will work for me? Any ideas on styles to look for and places to shop? Party tonight is "playboy lingerie party" theme. Attached are the 3 most likely candidates (although who's to say that I might not still create something else). What do you like? I've also considered taking the top from #2 and pairing it with a plaid pleated (schoolgirl) skirt Last night we did a bit of a fashion show to figure out what I would wear tonight, problem is that I am finding myself with very little to wear to something that is lingerie themed, heck I'm finding myself with little to wear in general.

Hello All This question is for the ones that have been to swinger clubs. What exactly do people wear there? I’m sure it is something sexy, but the details that I need to know are do you bring the sexy clothes and change there, or it's already underneath regular clothes that will come off when it is time to play?
