What a great wife I have! Three weeks ago I had my birthday and got all sorts of presents from my kids, mugs/books/cd's. MsD told me my present 'was not available yet'. I thought it was not delivered or made yet. Today my wife told me what her birthday present for me was. A threesome. Not just a threesome, our first. With the single man I mentioned above. I'm not told what the rest of the plans are, an hotel or something else, where it will be, what she will be wearing, where and what we are going to eat/drink. I was only told to reserve Saturday 26th evening. And night. Damn.

Our first swing experience was with a newbie couple. The attractions were there and it took until the 3rd couples date before were actually swapped partners back and forth. Later we found that it is somewhat unusual that two newbie couples come together and trade partners. We all are still good friends and get together for 4 somes and three somes depending on schedules...

We are new to this. He brought up the idea, and I thought he was crazy! We have discussed it more and I have also done some reading, and it is why I also joined this site. I think it could turn into something fun for us both Any advice on websites that you don't have to pay for, eventually we will consider the cost but for now just seeing what is out there

At the time my wife and I first started into swing, we fumbled and stumbled. We became so frustrated that we had decided to quit. We were then contacted by a well-tested couple who lived in Ohio. They showed us the way. Enthusiasm sometimes overcomes unfamiliarity. But learning from the accomplished will probably give you a smoother ride.

I think it would be better to have your first swinging experience with an experienced couple. An experienced couple will understand any nervousness or hesitations you might have, and may know a thing or two about how to get past that! People who have done this before will probably be better at making the sometimes-awkward transition from talking about your jobs and kids, to getting naked and playing. By contrast, another newbie couple could be fumbling around, unsure whether they even want to do this. The potential for a last-second change of heart or a burst of jealousy (also known as drama) is doubled with another new couple involved. So in my opinion, it is much better to let an experienced couple, who is sensitive and respectful, show you the ropes. Good luck!

Thanks Couple. I'm sure these responses are common. Sometimes it's hard to find an existing thread that's almost exactly our situation. I'm glad everyone here has been nice so far with responses even if it's redundant. That being said, great point on the price comparison. I understand about the membership/door fees. I'm also sure at strip clubs, women may get in free or significantly discounted. I'm no regular there, but I've heard the same things about dances with women. Could be fun :-) I've also heard many lifestyle clubs are strict about the "not interested" rule so I'm no longer concerned about that. I'm sure the answer varies by the couple, but what is the etiquette when being asked to play with another couple? I guess, what I'm asking is what if the Mrs isn't hitting it off with Mr Couple, but I'm interested in Mrs Couple? Hypothetically, of course I'm sure we'd fall back on our individual couple rules. Ever run into that or similar situation?

Not in our wheelhouse. To me, sleeping with someone is far more intimate than having sex.
