Our schedule just really sucks!

Ted's home this weekend and both of us are in the playing mood...but, wouldn't you know it...NOTHING is going on this weekend.

I've checked every group we're members of that hold regular house parties and nothing...next weekend is packed full of parties, which does us no damn good as he won't be home next weekend. I even contacted our regular play buddy and he's out of the damn country so no luck there.

I wish there was a club close by but unfortunately the closest is two hours away and with Ted just having driven 12 hours to get home, I really don't want him to have to drive that far this weekend.

The only thing I've found going on this weekend that is even remotely close is a M&G and even it's about 1.5 hours away.

So...what to do? Well, we could get on Swing Lifestyle and possibly find someone who wanted to meet this weekend...pull out the black book and go down the list and see who's available and wants to play...or, just stay home and fuck each other like rabbits all weekend (which definitely isn't a bad option at all).

It just really gets to me that it always seems like all the good parties are always on the weekends he's not home.

Oh well, if staying at home and playing only with each other is as good as it gets, we've got it pretty friggin good. After all, the man did say he wanted to give the request I made last time he was home a try :D

Either way, it sounds like a sex filled weekend and that has to be better than the best cell in guantanamo.....

Believe, me, we totally understand how schedules suck! We only have 2 days off a month together - every other Sunday. So we try to make at least one of those Saturday nights a night out - but it always seems we get invites for the weekends that we are NOT off.

And after this weekend, I'm back to every Sunday, instead of every other, volunteering at church at 5am because we've lost a lot of college volunteers for the summer.....

I do like your attitude though! We do the same thing - if we can't get out, we'll have a whole hell of a lot of fun together at home anyway!

So, what did ya do ?

And on a side note, have you ever had a house party for when Ted gets home, with the black book friends ? Not necessarily a surprise, but you know.....

Well...as often happens when we "think" we're going to have a free weekend our kids decide differently for us. ALL of them decided to come home this past weekend. Not that that's a bad thing but darn, it makes for a full house.

We did however get a phone call from an old Navy buddy stating that he had rented a condo on the beach and wanted us to come spend some time with him so, we headed out Saturday afternoon for drinks/dinner on the beach. It was very nice, very relaxing and it's always fun getting caught up with old friends.

Ted and I both were very bad in our thoughts though :EG:...we've played with this buddy before and would have again this past weekend had he not brought his new girlfriend with him (our evil thoughts were both of us saying on the ride home that we could have had some fun had he been alone). She was pretty cool though and had been to Hedo II before so we had fun remembering our time there and comparing notes...it was nice not having to watch our P's & Q's in conversation even though she's not a swinger.

It turned out to be a really good weekend.

As to setting up a house party on a weekend I know he's coming home...yep, done that before. We still can't entertain here at the house due to our youngest still living at home but we have some great friends that are always more than willing to let us use their house. I've called them up a few times saying "Ted's coming home this weekend, let's have a party" and they've been right on board and we start e-mailing and calling people.
