In terms of why hide it, while I think things have gotten way better on acceptance in the swinging world, there is still a lot of stigma involved with male-male interaction. Or fear of stigma at the very least.  I also think there are gender differences, not just in swinging but society at large.  A female can admit to girl-girl experience, and "lesbian" isn't the first word on everybody's tongues. I would certainly hope not.  We've got enough people in the world these days trying to rewrite dictionaries to meet their own agenda - hope and pray it does not come to the LS community.  Our take on this is simple - we believe in total truth in advertising.  I hear the stigma thing, but don't buy it.   Common now - there is stigma associated with everything in the LS in the non-LS world.  I thought one of the more appealing aspects of the LS was honesty.  We know what we are, and advertise as much.  People who read our profiles know what to expect, and we expect the same from others.  If readers don't like what they see, then they know we're not a great match and move on - a win-win solution IMHO.  Anyone who does not have the balls to admit and be truthful about why they are here and what they are looking for should probably not be in the LS to begin with.

I think that is a great question. Not married and have never cleaned up a woman or sucked cock so I cant speak on it from that perspective. Sounds like a question we need to ask an adult industry professional, as they are the people making the porn and influencing the cuckold culture.

I never said that all cuckold perform m/m play but given the number of men that identify as cuckold and straight, but secretly will advertise their desire to clean up their wives or suck cock, makes this a valid question for anyone interested in studying the cuckoldry fetish.

Im going to share what I posted in one of my cuckold groups on Fetlife about the definition of the word cuckold. 

 

What is a cuckold? 

According to the Oxford Language Dictionary and Google, a cuckold is a man whose wife is sexually unfaithful, often regarded as an object of derision. Derision is defined as contemptuous ridicule or mockery. Anything else is a personal preference to fulfill one's own cuckold fantasy. Just like rape is a rape but people have rape fantasies. The original meaning of the word does not change but how you role play your fantasy is up to you. 

 

The last sentence of that post is based on part logic and part of a conversation I had with a guy that identified as a cuckold.
