More doable, more practical, more often practiced MFM, FMF etc

Nah they are both ok. Generally speaking, Although image one can be fun, sensual and fulfilling it is not very practical. Image two is fun, sensual and fulfilling but unlike image one, it is repeatable, physically capable of pleasing both simultaneously and repeat immediately real time, the anchor female is physically built to take both simultaneously, one after the other, repeatable for round two and three, or totally separately not needing a refractory period. And most likely more successful for long term emotional and physical relationship. Opinion from long term personal experience with both, for fun and for relationship as well as observation over decades of ENM.

Perhaps I reacted too hastily in choosing multiple females and one male simply because I enjoy, almost require, a woman when having multiple partners.

I agree with the above, but when I am with multiple men, I prefer that we (mostly) do it one at a time. 

 

You also ask, "For just ENM/swing/kink experience?"  Nothing beats couples swaps, same room.

 

And, "For Poly relationship?"

We started out with just me and two men.  It was fine and had the advantages you describe.  Now our poly family is two men and three women and it is better because of the Lesbian relationships and sex that we have.  And more women are better for raising children. 

 

As for, "Long term committed relationship?"  it doesn't matter. 

 

I must also add that the way most men and women are, women will play with each other, men don't, so another point for FMFF.

MFM is more practical bc there are ALOT more available single guys then single ladies (thus the term unicorn).

 

For me (hubby) I'm actually more into the pleasure of sharing my lovely wife, and making her the center of attention, than I am into being with other women so MFM works out very well for us.

Many people (men?) say that, but when I first started recruiting among my female friends and acquaintances for David to play with, many, most were willing.  (He is attractive.)  Alas, most didn't want me to participate or even watch.

It amazes me too how many men think this way.  Why is that?  Porn?  Showing off what they have?  I go back to reproductive urges.  Someone puts it into your wife and you get excited to do the same and have your chance of winning the race.

For us, it's MFM.

 

Probably the key is that Mary wasn't Bi or even curious, and wasn't interested. So any dynamic involving two females just wasn't happening.  And, as has already been pointed out, finding the appropriate female is the proverbial needle. Interested and interesting single males are all over the place. Plus, I had a great interest in Mary enjoying herself with another man, and Mary loved the variety. Yeah, give us a quality single male every time. 

 

That answers the Swing category.

 

For Poly, well, that would involve the three (or more) personalities involved. I'm not an expert here so if I'm not accurate, correct me. But it seems to me that anyone that goes looking for Poly is likely to be disappointed - Poly (and love) finds you, not the other way around. Of course if you aren't interested in Poly, it's not going to happen.

 

And long-term? Again, it depends on the personality of the couple as to what you'll find. But I think there's sufficient evidence that either of the couple can find a serious relationship providing both of the committed couple are okay with it.

That's for sure.  I wasn't looking to be non-monogamous, but it found me.  I was in love with two men who were ok with it.  And I never knew that I had such a strong Lesbian side, which goes beyond sex when we had children, until David started playing.

MFM is more practical hands down.  And we've actually been doing a ton of MMFM (not M on M) because I enjoy stepping back and watching 2 guys have her, seeing her get DP'd, etc. which is also easier and more practical for us to arrange than a FMF.

 

And because multiple guys is easier to arrange it allows you to be more creative.  We've arranged it in public places, restrooms, etc.

The only question is, does your wife enjoy this arrangement?  I guess if she's totally straight. And if she enjoys having multiple men going at her at once.

I have heard the "sperm competition" theory and to a certain extent I think it's true.  Apparently there is a study that says men who share their wives produce more sperm. Interesting.  20 years ago we had a few FMFs and I was able to please both ladies but pretty sure those days are in my past.  I'm in my 50s now and while my wife can still go all night long I'm not quite the man I used to be in that regard.

 

Plus, I've always been wired in a way where I've loved sharing my wife.  Our first-ever LS experience was MFM, and although we've done plenty of couples-swap swinging, MFM/hotwifing has always been our mainstay and MFM/MMFM experiences probably outnumber other combinations 5 to 1.  It's not always about 'reclaiming' or 'winning the race' (bc i don't always) it just supercharges my libido to see my beautiful, sexy wife in the arms of another man.  It just never gets old!

When it comes right down to it, men are more willing to jump into bed with just about anyone (or multiple anyones) while women are much more cautious. Not sure if it is because of them not wanting to get a bad 'rep' or because they don't want to become pregnant (or both). Bottom line: men are easy.

It's because reproduction has no "cost" to a man.  A man can fuck one woman and move on to the next.  A woman can only have one child a year, so she needs to be more choosy about with whom she reproduces, both as to genetic fitness and committed resource provision.

Not technically my wife but my GF. But yes she loves it. I still participate but I really don't enjoy doing DP but I like stepping back and watching her enjoy it. She doesn't have to put on a show at all however there are plenty of times where she really does enjoy putting on a show. She is definitely an exhibitionist.

I've heard that before about a woman being taken: penetrated and injected by a man.  I look at it the other way around: if it's a guy I want, I am kidnapping part of his anatomy and stealing, forcing him to give me a living part of him.

MFM is our goto scenario because its fun, we both enjoy it and its easy to arrange. We had a MFMM at a house party a few months ago which while fun, was not as flowing as a regular MFM.

 

We don't do FMF because I (Mr) don't enjoy them and my wife is straight so she doesn't like playing with women. She has tried it but its not something she enjoys.
