Anyone have experience with Only Fans pages???

My husband and i were looking at making a page on OF. Does anyone else do that? if so how does it work? I had heard you can set it up to sell content to people outside the USA or more importantly i guess outside of your area etc. Any info would help thanks

Only experience of OF is that Reddit is full of OF folks promoting OF sites that often don't offer any unique experiences worth paying for. There are some great OF out there, but one common complaint seen is that you have pay to find out that an OF was just not worth it in terms of content, material etc. (e.g., OF star requires payment to get in and see brief clips that then point you to where you can go buy longer clips). Impression is there is a lot of that on OF which is unfortunate b/c there are some really really sexy posters on Reddit we follow that we would love to join OF, but don't want to spend money to have THAT experience. There are others who apparently have great and regular updates who we have been tempted to buy into (YourDreamCouple is one we're really tempted to pay for).

I had joined a couple of OF sites looking for my particular "kink" interest & found that (after paying) none had what I wanted. I tried to cancel one site before the auto signup kicked in but couldn't get the page with the cancel site up. Nothing I could do to get the page up so......it auto renewed. It took the site (OF) over a week to get back to as to how to cancel so I cancelled my entire OF's account. Funny but they contacted me the same day about my cancellation.

My buddies have been trying to talk my GF into creating an OF page.  They would set up the page, fuck her, do the filming, etc. and split the money with her.  She had done the live cam thing in the past with them and made some decent money from it.  I think the idea of doing an OF page is hot if you're an exhibitionist (which is why I think she is so open to it) but I don't think it would be worth it for the money.  It seems like you really have to be out there constantly promoting yourself to gain fans.  They were talking about all of them promoting the page on their social media pages which sounds pretty crazy to me.  But the thought is that if people know my GF and/or my buddies they would pay to join the page.  If you're just trying to sell to someone who is in another country and doesn't even know you exist or are even real then why would they pay?

In the past there have been people who wanted to try or actually tried to start swinging dating sites. The problem is the chicken and the egg...people won't sign up unless you have hundreds (thousands) of other people in their area and you can't get thousands of people if they won't sign up. Same is true with OF: People won't be happy unless you have hundreds of videos when they sign up and if you are just starting you will only have a limited number of videos so they won't be happy if they do sign up. Even if you have hundreds, there will still be too many people who either don't like what you have, or didn't want what you do have and will complain...don't forget the haters either (who hate EVERYTHING). Too much work for too much negative criticism IMHO.

This is what we've thought, as well. Mrs. E. would be game if she had confidence in her privacy - therefore she isn't - but admires women who are putting it out there enough to do it. However, it really does look like an awful lot of marketing work.

Of course it is.  There is so much free porn out there (especially free amateur porn) that you have to spend time marketing yourself in order to convince people to pay.  My buddies idea to get people to join is by providing fetish and kink content and really marketing to people who know you through your social media.  Essentially some guy overseas or in another state who doesn't know my GF or my buddies is less likely to pay $10 for their content.  However, people that do know them, went to school with them, etc. are much more likely to pay $50 or $100 for their content.  From there you can always then begin to branch out.  But you have to be willing to give up all privacy.  That's not something I would be willing to do but if they are OK doing it then I wouldn't stop it.

I have no experience with OF or any other site like it, except for what I read in the news.  As always, however, I do have an opinion.

 

It is a wonderful advance for women to able to take control of their lives and sexuality.  If they want to sell something sexual, anything from showing themselves alone or engaged in sexual activities, they can do it safely, anonymously if they want, and keep most of the money.

 

In another universe, I would actually be intrigued doing this, but my appeal would have been mostly to guys who creep me out.  I went through puberty normally, but always looked a lot younger than my age.  In my mid through late teens and into my twenties, I looked liked I was just going through puberty (tiny tits, cute face), if I shaved my bush, which wasn't and isn't much.

 

Now, it has some appeal to my exhibitionist side, but how many guys want to see a scrawny, albeit fit and muscular woman?

Guys are weird like that.  Some guys who know me in real life (coworkers, professional colleagues, vanilla friends) have hinted (usually after some drinks) that they want to see "What I really look like," especially my tits.  Really?  You can find whatever you want online or at a strip club.  But somehow if the guy knows the woman, even just from the media, he's much more interested in seeing her naked.

I'm not sure I would really call it "weird."  There is a certain taboo to it.  When you go to a porn website or to a strip club you know you are going to see naked women, sex, etc.  But you're not supposed to see your coworker or friend naked or having sex.  I know some of my buddies get extra excitement from fucking my GF because she's my GF.  There is some additional kink to it for them.  They've actually talked about fantasies they have about if we got married and fucking her on the wedding day to cumming on the wedding cake and feeding it to her.  So it might be "weird" to some and I can see why but I also understand there is a taboo nature to it that gets them off as well.

That wasn't fantasy for us.  After our wedding reception, David invited Red to our hotel room, removed my clothes (I was only wearing three pieces, two of them were shoes) and said, "Meet my wife."  Red fucked me first as a married woman before my husband had me.  Since David and I were going on a ten-day honeymoon, Red returned the next morning for more.
