The situation: We've been in the lifestyle for about 4 years now and I've never had a problem with erection (knock on wood). The Drugs: Levitra and Viagra are the Pepsi and Coke of the recreational sex drug world with not many differences between the two, while Cialis seems to be of the energy drink flavour such as Red Bull. Like with all things in the world, some claim that Viagra is best and others swear by Levitra and Cialis. I, know it's a matter of personal choice and what works for you but I would like to hear from other guys in a similar siuation.

 

The Bottom Line: I might drink on a night or two, eat at buffets and have sex with someone's wife...I'd like to be able to have sex with her twice if possible...even with a few drinks in me and too much buffet food!?!

No issues with a 2nd or a 3rd and the erections are firmer..a bit surprising to me as I didn't really have problems with firmness, or so I thought, but it is a noticeable difference. The literature says that 36 hours should be the expected effective time but I'm finding that 48+ is normal on a full dose and I'm currently experimenting with the efficacy of half doses, why not if it's good for more than 24 hours and will maximize the cost? No side effects for me but your mileage may vary.

My advice (I'm not formally qualified) is to avoid Viagra for two reasons.

 

First, it's the shortest lasting of the three -- you want it to still be around at high strength for seconds and thirds and ...

 

Second, it works different than Cialis in that it has a metabolite (that Cialis does not have) which is linked to the very rare side effect of blindness.

 

Finally, take your dose of Cialis (or Levitra) well before you play (90 minutes).

What a gift to my wife and the ladies, it is awsome for those nights I have to be a "stud: That being said, I chose Cialis because it worked the best for me. It actually made me a little longer and a little thicker and I can go three times a night with little rest. For normal play I cut a 20mg in half and need to take it 90 minutes in advance to get the max. benefit for the first play. I take a full 20 only when I plan for a full night. Nobody can say what is best as everybody has a different reaction to each of the three.

 

For me, Levitra does absolutely nothing. Cialis is what I choose because it helps a little and doesn't give me too many side effects. Viagra comes with a headache, bad flushing and stuffiness. Its worst side effect is that I'll be stiff for over an hour but unable to get off. It's like the feeling goes away and so does the enjoyment.

 

You won't know until you've tried them all.

I agree with every one on Cialis. Maybe it is just me but I have to take it in the morning before I have anything to eat. Then the effect seems to last for 3 days. Not that I have the opportunity to use it multiple times each day. Darn!

Believe it or not, the normal state of a male is "hard on". The brain maintains a "don't start anything" signal to a control center near the base of the spinal cord, which orchestrates the sexual mechanics.

 

When the brain decides to let the body get aroused, it frees the control center to start work. This begins a cascade of chemical reactions, each action starting/assisting other reactions until you get down to the blood inflating the penis and semen production ramping up.

 

The control center responds to penile nerve stimulation to keep the chemical cascade active and to control the muscles that contract to squirt semen when you cum. Then it lets the cascade peter out (pun intended).

 

What Cialis, Levitra, and Viagra do affect certain operations in the chemical cascade to make the erection mechanics (blood flow and retention) more pronounced and keep them from rapidly decaying away.

Just got my first "physician sample" of 20mg Cialis. I'll send a report after I've had an occasion to use one. I am amused by the footnote they print on the package, "Cialis has not been studied for multiple sexual attempts per dose." I wonder where I can sign up for the clinical trials?

I have never tried Viagra or anything of that nature but I am on TRT(testosterone replacement therapy) and man does it work I can go 3-4 times a day easily with my wife and if we are with another couple even more. Don't get me wrong it not one right after another but usually within 20 minutes I am ready to go. The only side effect I noticed was my workouts became insane being that within a month I was lifting a lot more weight and my body weight increased due to the added muscle.

As of right now, there is no proof of a dependency in relation to increased doses needed to achieve the same effect over a period of time.

 

There is however, the danger of a psychological dependency. The mind can do wonderful and horrible things to our psyche.

 

A quick Google for the words "Dependency" and "Viagra" or "Cialis", etc, will reveal this information.
