Our first encounter was a year ago....

The reason I know this? Last night when we went to the club we had to pay the membership renewal fee. It hit me. Wow, a year?   So I reflected a bit about the last year, and who we were then compared to who we are now.   A year ago we went to a club for the first time. We were so nervous, and extremely shy. 11 years later... (Well, technically about 20)

11 years ago today Mr NC and I married. We dated in high school almost 20 years ago, but I guess we had to "sow our oats" or "spread our wings" before we were smart enough to realize we were meant to be...   So what has 11 years of marriage done for us, personally, and for our relationship?   Wow. Time off so soon...

We have had such a good time since we entered the lifestyle last Augus. And even though we definitely still consider ourselves "Newbies", we have come so far! The communication between us, the openness, it has just been amazing!!!   And then life just sometimes gets in the way. I had to have an outpatient surgery last week, nothing major, but it does involve a biopsy that we won't have results on for a couple of weeks, so we're already taking a break, just as we were really getting started!
