We're back in the saddle...

Dave and I went out last night to a LS friend's house for dinner. One thing led to another and before you knew it, we all had our clothes off and was havin' a blast!! Jeez, that felt good. Our 7 months of not being able to do anything is over.

Lunchroom conversations...

Sitting at the table in our work lunchroom, there are three of us. K, J and me. K starts to talk: "You should have been to the derby the other night." X and X were there with their little girl. She is so cute... then we got to talking and she told me that they swapped partners with X and X."   I sat there and ate my homemade shepherds pie. This is going to be interesting...

Dave and I are meeting up with two friends tomorrow night. Neither are not married, but occasionally play as a couple. He is J and she is L. They also play apart. The last time we got together with these two was about a year ago, but there was also another married couple there.   We played a little strip pool, and J went to one room with the other married woman, Dave and the L were "getting along" on the couch near the pool table and the other married guy and I went upstairs. Perusing facebook....

I read that my son registered for college.   My first thought was not how much I was going to miss him, but that now we can host. We'll be empty nesters and we can finally host!   How twisted is that?

Reminiscing ....

Dave and I were sitting in the hot tub last night talking about our three years swinging. We talked of our million rules that we started out with and now they're gone, thankfully. We decided how foolish the no kissing rule really was. We joked how insecure I was when we started that I'm surprised that I let Dave touch another woman. A little sad today....

Our second daughter moved out again, today. She graduated from college in December, moved back in and has been furiously looking for a job ever since. I've loved having her back.   Well, she found one eight hours away with the Fish & Game. She's much closer to her boyfriend though and that's good for her. In all reality, not that far away that we can't go visit once in a while.   Aaaaaah... to be a mom...

Went to dinner again last night....

First written 1-08   This couple from above contacted us and we decided to go ahead and have dinner with them again to see if things had changed. I still think the first time, he was so nervous that he just couldn't quite get over that hump of just relaxing and letting the conversation take place.   It was different last night. He was calm, and his wife was apologetic of the last time we ate dinner. I still can't believe it was over a year ago.   I can't believe my fuck-ups though.

Dave and I went to dinner last night with a couple we met at a M&G last weekend. We liked them then and we still like them.   I asked him if we were just weird or what because what I read on the SB, most couples can't find another couple they feel compatible with while we find every couple that we have dinner with or talk with compatible. I don't know if we're just too easy going, or if we're just that charming. It's after we have sex that I can complain about something.   I'm sur

Our Bi-annual party...

was such a total bust.   There was a change of venue so it wasn't held at the regular hotel that we used to use. I'm not sure why the change, but it's a moot point now, anyway.   We have many friends that were there, and it's always great to get to see them and party with them again. We always go with NO expectations and we're certainly glad we do. Going on a date tonight...

Dave and I have been talking to a couple who we're meeting tonight. Hopefully, it will be a good meeting.   We're going to meet for dinner and drinks. Talk a little. Maybe it will lead to more, maybe not. The last date we went on, the male of the other couple talked politics and history ALL night long. We can't even remember their names. It was obvious that we didn't quite connect by the time dinner and drinks were over. It was their first date ever and I think he was soooooooo nervo
