G- and R-rated conversations using online video might be useful. Start with the partner (the husband?) you are in touch with and establish a pattern. Invite your wife to listen/watch in. Apps like Hangouts and Zoom can bring in several "rooms" even though you are in the same house. Is the other wife interested? Start with things in common especially the prospect of a real-life meeting, just dinner or drinks. Get your wife used to the venue and with their faces and voices. Talk about it later. For a newbie it's not about what but about who. Audio and video can help with who.

Facetime would be useful for judging whether or not a couple's intent is sincere. But if you convey a desire for sexting or swapping sex tapes, the couple will very likely perceive that you are simply attempting the troll.

The fun part, I can agree with; the safe part, not so much. Once that video leaves your computer, your control over it is zero, so the only rule of thumb that I would say implies any safety is that anything you send out should never be able to be identified as you (unless of course, you aren't concerned about the footage ending up anywhere). Even if you trust your friends 100%, you can't know what might happen that is beyond their control or a lapse in judgment or carelessness. To be safe, keep faces (or readibly identifiable things like ink) out of anything connected to naked bodies and body parts. Before doing anything, assume that if you don't have 100% control over it and that you always will, then it will eventually end up everywhere.
