RoxyLove 19 Posted March 10, 2017 My hubby and I have been having MFFs for a long time now. Our first one was about 18 years ago but more so within the past 10 years. I'm an ex-stripper who danced from when I was 19 to 36 and bartended in strip clubs for a few years after that. So I'm pretty open sexually to about everything. My issue is I've recently decided to quit drinking. I'm curious now how nervous or awkward the beginning of a 3some will be without alcohol. I went to a strip club with my husband and a friend last night and had a great time not drinking. I mean I practically lived in those places half my life and know everyone who works in them. I really want to continue doing everything I did in my life, just sober. Basically I'm just wondering what anyone else's experiences have been when they began sober swinging. I don't want the fear of nerves to take away something I really enjoy doing. Quote Share this post Link to post

I would say, being a non-drinker myself, that if you need alcohol to get over the nerves, then you probably shouldn't be doing what you are doing. So far, for me, all of our experiences have been totally sober and all felt natural and normal. Was a little nervous beforehand, before the date or before going to the club, but once there, everything just feels natural and normal. To me at least. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post
RoxyLove 19 Posted March 10, 2017 Thank you for the response We've had so many in the past 18 years, some sober (where the situation just came about) and some while drinking that I never really thought about it. I guess now that I'm definitely not drinking I'm just thinking too much. I'm sure everything will fall in place as it always has, I just wanted to hear others experience going from drinking to not drinking. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post
SW_PA_Couple 4,019 Posted March 11, 2017 I'll just affirm what SA_NewtoLS has said. Many of the people within our circle of swing playmates do not drink alcohol. Alcohol is simply not needed for starting or fueling a swing encounter. Even at private house parties or swinger club parties, the people not consuming alcohol do not stand out whereas people consuming alcohol often do attract attention, not the good kind, to themselves. RoxyLove 19 Posted March 11, 2017 Thanks so much for the responses. That's good to know. I feel much better proceeding knowing I'm not the only one sober. Trapeze in Atlanta is byob and most people do drink. So my perception has been that it was the norm. Quote Share this post Link to post
kikonkrome 843 Posted March 11, 2017 I rarely drink alcohol when we swing. My wife will have a few drinks. Personally I think it's a better experience sober than with a few drinks!!! 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Tikiandclown 42 Posted March 11, 2017 I never drink. Or smoke. Tiki needs a few drinks to get social. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
RoxyLove 19 Posted March 11, 2017 Thank you for the encouraging responses. Will be getting into some fun tonight and I'm really looking forward to it Quote Share this post Link to post
BiCaliGirl777 48 Posted March 13, 2017 I agree, if you need alcohol in order to set the mood, then you probably shouldn't be doing it. Don't get me wrong, I like a little buzz but it's not a requirement for me to have it. I personally like to remember the fun times and not wake up with a splitting headache or puking on someone lol 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
afterwork 89 Posted March 14, 2017 Our drinking days are way behind us. Guess what, our ability to enjoy and to enjoy and to enjoy and to enjoy.....(you get the point) is much better without the alcohol. Frankly, most of our group prefers no drinking, no smoking, just fucking...whooohoooo:cool:https://www.swingersboard.com/images/smilies/cool.gif 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
