peaceofcake 19 Posted August 24, 2015 What is your best advice for those attending a club for the first time? Thanks Quote Share this post Link to post
GoldCoCouple 4,030 Posted August 24, 2015 Go with no expectations but with a complete understanding of what is and isn't allowed between you and your SO...and then stand by those rules. Don't forget to breathe and have a great time. Simple! 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
SW_PA_Couple 4,019 Posted August 24, 2015 * Participation in sex is not mandatory. * Talk to people; ask questions; don't waste a visit; mingle. * It will probably require more than one visit before the regulars approach you. * Watch and listen intently while the volunteers or club owners give you an orientation and a tour. Each club has its own rules. * Any clubs that my wife and I have seen in your part of the state have fun games that are designed to have people mix and become familiar with each other; have fun. * Let us know what you think after you have your first visit. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post
cplnuswing 4,711 Posted August 25, 2015 All of the above. Our main rule of club-going is just to have a fun night out together first, and after that, anything else is just icing on the cake. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Bob250 74 Posted August 28, 2015 All great answers. I would add to SW_PA_Couples post. Don't be standoffish. If the regulars don't initiate conversation, do so yourself, in a non threatening way. If alcohol is available, don't over indulge. Always remember, that you are a guest, so politeness will go a long way towards smoothing your path. Good Luck and have a blast!! 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

GuyInMD79 1,500 Posted August 29, 2015 peaceofcake, we do not consider ourselves to be very good at the "going to a club cold" thing (we have the most fun if we go to a club on a date with another couple). But we did meet a couple one time on a visit to a club. The Mrs. and I had not met anybody and talked enough to get to the "would you like to go play" point, so we decided to go to a playroom and have some fun ourselves. So the two of us, and another couple who had also not found anybody else to play with, all happened to be waiting for a playroom to open up. We struck up a conversation, and they seemed like very nice, genuine people. When a room opened up (it happened that a room opened for us first), we excused ourselves politely, wished the other couple a good time, and told them (as an after-thought, really) that we'd be happy to split the room with them if they were tired of waiting. We made our way to the play room, and left the door open a crack just in case. A couple of minutes later, just as the Mrs. and I were getting going, we heard a knock on the door! The other couple ended up joining us for a mostly same-room romp, with a little bit of cross-couple fondling thrown in for good measure! The evening definitely ended on a high note! Does that constitute advice? I don't really think so- it seemed like a pretty improbable scenario to try to make happen. The thing we took from that night was that we should keep a friendly, open, and playful attitude with us, even as we find ourselves in a room full of strangers! Have fun, and tell us all about it afterwards! BTW, what club are you going to? We are curious to know about clubs in the Philly area, as a possible meeting place with some NY/NJ friends of ours. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
