sunbuckus 3,565 Posted June 2, 2015 I'll preface this post by saying that I don't look at online profiles often but there are times when certain photos give you a "questionable" vibe or red flag vibe. For example, there's the profiles that only have pictures of the woman but none or a far away picture of the male. Or the profiles that have the woman lying face down on the bed, not done in a sexy pose but appears to be sleeping and she doesn't know her picture was being taken picture. Or profiles with just one picture and it's of the male and it's a couple profile. Or ones with wedding pictures. What about you guys? Have you come across any photos that make you question the validity of the profile or make the warning bells go off? Quote Share this post Link to post
MrDiscover 802 Posted June 2, 2015 We were only for a few weeks on SDC and yes, we had seen all those examples mentioned above too. To add to this sad list: profiles where the only recent and nude/nudish pictures are of him, and the ones of her are older swimsuit pictures or vanilla ones. Those profiles look a lot like she does not know anything about being shown there. Plus profiles with pics that show a different location in the background, especially wall power outlets (which differ from region to region) gave away pics were not Dutch at all... SW_PA_Couple 4,019 Posted June 3, 2015 You know what makes me suspicious? People who do a selfie or take a picture of themselves in a mirror and put the picture into a couple's profile. Really? Is your spouse so very pissed off with you that she or he refuses to hold a camera or smart phone long enough in your presence to take your picture? Quote Share this post Link to post

It's because you can't get the angle just the way you like when your spouse holds the camera. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
SW_PA_Couple 4,019 Posted June 3, 2015 It's because you can't get the angle just the way you like when your spouse holds the camera. Hmmm. Maybe I should have checked you on-line profile first to be sure you do not have a mirror photo. I suppose I might have insulted some members who do. Quote Share this post Link to post
sunbuckus 3,565 Posted June 3, 2015 The mirror method is becoming more passe due to forward facing cameras on phones. We don't have either type on our profiles but I have to admit that I find that the pictures I take with my forward facing camera on the phone are more to my liking than photos that others take of me.
