I don't get it......

This might seem like the weirdest question, and might be totally obvious to many of you, but what is the point of straight single women in the lifestyle? Who are they playing with? I get bisexual women as there are couples who look for a unicorn for threesomes, but I can't wrap my brain around the point of a straight woman, are there a lot of couples where a wife likes to just watch her husband with someone else? Again, please excuse my ignorance if this is obvious to those who are more experienced. Just something that I've wondered....

I often wonder the same thing about straight single men. I mean unless your kink is sleeping with other peoples spouses, what exactly is in it for them?

It is kind of fun to have at least one lady at a party who wants to fuck all the guys. That is not necessarily one of the single ladies but it often is. We enjoy watching and if Wu can't attend I enjoy pitching in.

In my mind, the swinging lifestyle is more about the general notion that sex, even without romantic emotional attachment, is a lot of fun, and something that we can all enjoy. When you think about it that way, the idea of a single, straight woman in the lifestyle seems no more unusual than any other combination- straight guys, bi guys, married couples, polyamorous men/women/couples, or any other flavor of person or people.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone advertising that they are seeking a straight single woman (and as I was looking at the RSVP list for the club we are attending tonight I saw quite a few single straight women, which is why I guess it peaked my curiosity)

I "get" that for a lot (most?) people in the LS, a big part of the attraction is simply having sex with new and different people as two of you mentioned. That's not really the case for my husband and I. We are much more about a shared experience than the act of being with someone different (which is why we don't even really get into "pairing off" and instead enjoy a group play dynamic, so that not only are we in the same room together but we're interacting with each other). And I only mention that because it may help explain my curiosity when it's something that's probably "duh!" for most of you lol.

I wished I had known about the lifestyle during my years as a single woman (in my forties, after the first husband died and before my new husband). Instead, I went to a date dot com to meet men. I quickly learned that most of them were liars, either married or with girlfriends, but wanted a week day booty call date. And, unfortunately, I had to admit to myself that dating and having sex on week days was preferable to none at all. Going to a club or house parties to have somewhat more “honest” sex, would have been preferable to dating some that I dated.

I would think Club Parties would be the more likely places to encounter Single Straight Ladies. The Distaff Half of chiccouplexx discusses that in the next post.

I now consider myself heteroflexible, but mostly straight, and as a single lady in the lifestyle, I enjoyed the company and pleasure with couples while exploring a desire for women. There's also some kind of power (IMHO) in gifting a threesome to a man and his wife...even if both women play straight.

Single men are a delightful booty call for a single lady...no entanglement with all the pleasure.

I could see the sex with no strings attached angle for a horny single woman and a swing club is definitely a safer environment over say going home with a guy I met in a bar. That being said I don't know how comfortabe I'd be going to a club or hotel party by myself.
