I have to admit. The allure of spray tanning sounded great. 60 seconds? yes please. nice tan? yes please! no possibility of skin cancer or early aging? Oh baby bring it on!!!

i've got a friends wedding coming up soon, for which I'll be the maid of honor...and i want to look like a bronze goddess (ok, really i just don't want to blind people...i'll settle for "beige"). I've used tanning beds before, but only in short stints...since I'm a tad afraid of the risks. I love it though...best 12 minute nap EVER.

I went in for a spray tan last friday, and my results have been less than stellar. First, I accidentally breathed in some of it...YUCK. now *that* might give me cancer, LOL. ew ew ew. next, i became very dark. evidently, one tan level fits all...i became incredibly dark and it looked freaky. But I thought "hey, it'll fade really well over the next couple of days!"

It did not. It faded all right...just in some places more than others. Not to mention my hands looked like i'd been playing in dirt constantly.

Right now I'm still tanned right under my breasts and in my armpits...and in random streaks down my legs. SEXY MAMA. so we're going to chalk this one up to a funny learning experience, try not to get naked this weekend.....and go back to normal tanning by cooking in a bed.
