Rings. Do you wear them when swinging?

Recommended Posts

Do you wear your wedding rings when you go to socials, parties or clubs? We would prefer to wear our wedding rings but rarely do out of fear of losing them. My wife never wears her engagement ring while we out playing for that reason, because she always takes it off to play so as to not scratch anyone with it.

I have noticed some people checking to see if we are wearing bands and I assume they are looking to see if we are married. I never really pay attention if other people wear their rings. Does it matter to you if someone isn't wearing bands but says they are married?

I have noticed a woman's band while playing, but only because I feel it when she has a good hold of my dick. Once in a while she will rub me in a way that is uncomfortable for a moment.

Anyone else notice or care?

I almost never wear my wedding ring in my daily life, but when we go to parties (vanilla or swinging) I will put it on. Mrs S appreciates me wearing it, so I do. She would like me to wear it all the time, but wearing rings drives me nuts. So I put it on when we do social things to make her happy :) Sort answer, we wear our rings when we go to swing clubs etc. Mrs S doesn't take hers off when we play though.

We wear our wedding rings all the time. I don't wear my engagement ring at all because I haven't gotten it re-sized like the wedding band. It wasn't until I almost lost the band that I decided it was time to get it re-sized. Unfortunately, at the time of going to the store, I didn't have my engagement ring on so I didn't get two rings done at the same time. Thus, the reason why I only wear the wedding band. Besides, I didn't want to poke the kids with it while I was playing or picking them up. I never take off my ring unless I'm lifting weights during exercise. That ring will rub on the bone so bad if I leave it on when using dumbbells.

To be honest, I almost never notice if couples are wearing their rings or not. I did notice one time with one of the couples that they didn't wear their rings but we suspect that it's because they play separately the majority of the time and have more of an open marriage in comparison to couple swapping.

As for caring, we don't care if they are married or not. What matters the most is if we like them both and they want to swap with us. ;)

We wear ours everywhere, so yeah, we wear them at the club also.

I have never checked for a ring, but I'm a guy, so there's that. I'm sure Mrs two4you checks them out. Not for marital status confirmation, but because she's a jewelry slut. ;)

we wear ours all the time too.. Me, I take it off when I begin play, put in in my pocket or, if home, on thehead board.. things get slippery, wouldn't want to lose it, or damage a lady with the ring in her.. nothing symbolic about it during play.. we also leave them at home when traveling.. less BAIT to attract the nefarious type.

I wear mine most of the time, but sometimes they start to slip, so I'll put them in my handbag. Hubby never wears his and wasn't a fan when we first married. I've stopped harping about it.

I don't notice if others are wearing rings unless they are blingy, I figure if they are out together there's some sort of committment, so that's good enough for me.

I quit wearing my ring during Desert Storm. Wife doesn't wear one because of work. I never started wearing it again.

We never wear our rings. I scratched myself too many times and gave them up about 2 months after getting married, hubby didn't want to injure his at work so he gave it up not long after.

So, no, we don't wear them to parties or to play. :)

I can't wear one at work anyway due to safety issues, but always put mine on when we went out, especially to a swing function. Since Ms Dive and I have not decided to tie the knot, it isn't an issue now.

Never really thought about it. We do wear ours. Sometimes my wife will not if we are at the beach or something. My wifes likes jewelry and I have picked that up a little and will check out some of the diamond rings.

I try to remember to put on my rings when we leave the house for a party, but often I forget. I hate hate HATE wearing rings of any sort, so it's a major irritant for me. But, like Slevin, I do it to make my spousal unit happy. PB, on the other hand, loves his ring and he never removes it.

We had no rings at all until 5 years ago, and we are celebrating our 25th anniversary this week. This was really my decision; when we got engaged and married we had no money and I didn't want to waste any on what I feel is a pointless symbol. However, he really wanted to give me a diamond, so for our 20th anniversary he gave me an gold and diamond engagement ring, but sadly, I don't really like wearing it. Then he insisted on a wedding ring, so I agreed, but had some stipulations: had to be silver, and had to be inexpensive. We found matching celtic knotwork ones 3 years ago in a small shop and that's what we've got. As I said, he wears his all the time, day and night, but I can only take mine for a limited length of time, but he always likes to see me wearing it. At first his feelings were hurt when I wouldn't, but he's heard other women say the same thing about rings, so he's accepted that it's just the way it is.

Both of us wear our rings all of the time -- even to bed, even (against the advice of the jeweler) in a swimming pool. It's just want we do.

Mr Cuple only wears his ring when we go out as a couple, whether it is a swing or vanilla event. She likes him to wear it so he obliges. Since he finds rings uncomfortable, it fits looser than if he were to wear it everyday. At the last party we went to, he put it in his pocket and it landed up falling out on the floor when the pants flew off lol. Fortunately, he cares enough about it to check for it and we managed to find it pretty quick. We use one of her purses as a "goody" bag when we go out, condoms etc. It is also where we will leave sunglasses, cell phones and keys so we dont leave anything behind. That is where the ring will go from now on if he decides to take it off.

The Mrs. always wears her ring and I haven't worn mine for close to 10 years now. Nothing to do with swinging, I just don't like wearing rings or watches.

we both wear our wedding bands all the time and definitely at parties or clubs. Not my engagement ring though. For us it's a symbolic gesture, a symbol of our commitment to each other even when we are out looking for intimate playtime. To be honest, I have never pay attention if someone else is wearing theirs.

Since I originally wrote this post we have purchased a set of inexpensive, but nice, bands, as losing them was a major concern. I still prefer to remove it when I do certain things, sex being one of those. I have broken all of my finger, most of them multiple times, so comfort is a huge reason to remove my band when doing things that require a good deal of activity with my hands.

I do prefer to have my band on when we are out, be it vanilla or swinging. Having a second band gives me a level of comfort in removing it.

We both wear ours pretty much all the time. I don't sleep in mine when we are at home, but I always put them on when I leave the house. I don't have an engagement ring, my wedding ring is a little unique and serves both purposes. I have another ring I wear on the other hand (that would also make a great combo ring, but it's the wrong size for my wedding ring finger) that I wear all the time. I don't typically take mine off to play.

I did take off and leave behind my watch once at a club. Luckily, they found it and held onto it and I was able to pick it up the next time we visited.

Look for the telltale tanline. We've always worn our rings. We played a game one time in a MMF experience where I took off my wedding ring and gave it to her and she put my wedding ring on the other guy before he penetrated her.

We rarely wear our rings out. For a number of reasons, lube, the jacuzzi, chlorine, scratching, theft and loss. They are expensive and we don't like to be showy. We are comfortable in our relationship and don't need token or symbols of ownership to prove our commitment when out playing. We know exactly who we're coming home to.

Except for the accidental loose slippage in the beginning (not a problem anymore) or for cleaning, we have not taken off our rings in the almost 27 years since we put them on each other's fingers. To us, that day was so symbolic that this is our way of knowing we are together even when apart and always felt our martial status was something to show off and not to hide so unlike watches, earrings, necklaces, etc. this is the one thing that never comes off no matter how "naked" we are.

So strongly do we feel about this is that even during the rare time we used jewelry cleaner and had to take them off, only she can take it off for me and put it back on and vice versa, not do it ourselves. Always wearing the rings is part of that "death till us part" thing. Weird...maybe. Romantic...definatly.

In fact, the funniest thing is, I've come to believe we've been wearing the wrong rings! To be more precise, though the jeweler claimed based upon the designs whose was whose I've found evidence over the years, including at least two relatives with similar designs, that we may have placed each others rings on when we were married (both sizes were the same...blame my skinny fingers at the time). However, even if true, we will still keep the same one we put on each other those many years ago.

I don't wear mine at work for safety reasons but I wear it when we go out and during play. Mine is a cheap stainless ring that is great for opening bottles so it as a second purpose.

My husband stopped wearing his ring in the army when he did his over seas service. I wear my rings every day. Never really look for rings on couples when we play.. I just dont see the point of looking.. Besides I am looking for wood not rings. LOL

We have always worn our rings at clubs and socials.

Once, mine almost slipped off when my hands got very slippery form the lotion I was massaging my play partner with.

I sometimes take it off when I am with a partner that I have known since high school. We have some one-on-one time at reunions and other events. Maybe that's not swinging, but since my wife knows all about what we do and we entertain this woman in our home, it's pretty close to swinging (as opposed to a sordid, clandestine affair).
