Games to play at swinger events?

Last night's chat was about games - games to play at a party, club, or any swinger get-together

Seems that multiple variations of strip games were popular - strip pool, poker, winner chooses what clothes come off/loser has to take something off. A Meet & Greet that we are rarely able to get to have some interesting games, I hear. The Scavenger Hunt sounded way fun! A club hosted a musical lap dance game - sorta like musical chairs...they also did a kissing contest

We were thinking of hosting a Murder Mystery swinger party, but not so sure how to go about that.

Anyone care to share some of the more interesting games, party themes, or activities you've been part of in your swinging adventures? Details?

I think my favorites that I've seen at Socials or clubs are "nut & bolts" - All the women are given bolts, and all the men nuts and they have to find their match. When you find your match you take it to the host and get credit for having found a match, then you get a new nut or bolt and start again. It's a great ice breaker and a great way to encourage people to meet. The only problem is you don't really mingle much because you are focused on getting the most matches.

Another fun one that our local social does is Gigolo Night or StreetWalker Ball. They are the same, just the genders get flipped. So for say Gigolo Night the women are all given a certain amount of play money when they come in and then the guys have to "work" for it. The guy with the most money at the end of the night wins. There are always a few women taking their mans money (on either night) and spending it for them (moreso than guys taking the women's money).

I love the nuts & bolts idea! I might just steal that for our next party.

Why would the women get bolts? Seems to me a bold resembles a phallus more than a nut and a nut has an opening like . . . well, you get what I'm saying, I think.

I think if I knew that that game was going to be played, I might visit a hardware store on the way in. "Gimme one of each size and no need to gift wrap them --- I'll just carry them out in my pockets."

Our club combined a pajama party with party games like semi-naked Twister (you could wear a top half or a bottom half), Truth or Dare and Spin the Bottle. The people who got the most attention weren't the ones wearing lingerie but the brave folks who wore things like their Elmo slippers. It was fun, a great icebreaker even before the games started and there was a relaxed vibe all night.

Oh I wish I was there for this chat!! I am working on compiling my game instructions in a presentable format and then I'll try to post them in the articles section. Would it be better to separate them out as single posts or put them all together?

We've played: Barbie and Ken, Swinger Secret Codes and Treasure Hunt. We're playing Swing-atagories this month. I am always looking for more ideas! These are all non-physical fully-clothed icebreaker games. At another private party we did a huge strip twister with six mats I taped together.

I like the gigolo night. I would have to give the group ideas for ways to earn the money that aren't to risque since we are in a public place. What do you think?

Hate to be a buzz kill, but we go to a lot of parties and when the games come out, we tend to head for the door. The problem isn't with the games, it's with those playing. We don't have any problems introducing ourselves to everyone at parties, so we don't need to play games in the first place, but more importantly, it makes everyone uncomfortable when they are forced to interact with someone that is obviously incompatible and yet still be expected to have fun.

You kinda sound like my husband - but I am just the opposite, I love party games within reason. I don't think he'd leave a party, he just wouldn't play the game.

Nuts & Bolts is one of the games we like. The variation in the one we've played is that only one nut and bolt actually match. The two that make that match win a gift. The couple that set this game up said it took a loooong time to make sure that out of all the nuts and bolts that they bought, there would only be one match.

Games can be fun, if they are timed right and limited. I've seen the Musical Chairs game take a rocking party and bring it to a screeching halt. It's one of those "less is more" things for us.

They wouldn't. I would however get things backwards - kinda like when I give people directions to my house and tell them it's on the wrong side of the street.

I think the closest thing to a game I remember was some kind of "swap dance partner" game ... everyone on the dance floor, every time the music changed you had to change dance partners. It didn't really work for me mostly because, being hard of hearing, I couldn't talk to my dance partner while the music was playing.

The only other game I've seen at swingers clubs was Cards Against Humanity, and I seem to be in a serious minority because I find that game outrageously boring.

We played sexy jenga at the last party we hosted and everyone loved it. Simply use stickers to write sexy tasks on each block.

We had a few newbies with us so we colour coded the ends of the blocks - orange was nice, green was naughty and black was group activities - so you could choose which level of play you wanted. We'd love to hear your thoughts.
