Do you keep your glasses on...?

I may not be alone in this, I have a question.

Since I like to watch my wife in certain circumstances with another partner, the visual aspect of our adventures is kinda important. With that preface, I have a question for my fellow eyeglass wearers...

Do you keep your glasses on, did you get contact lenses, do you just squint, and what is your preferred method of enjoying the view when your eyesight is challenged?

I can't stand to wear my glasses during sex, and I can't wear contacts. So I just go with it.

The good thing about my sight is that its not too bad. I grew up 20/10 and it stayed that way until around age 40. My site is still about 20/40, I am nearsighted in one eye farsighted in the other and astigmatisms in both. So I can function without glasses, its just takes a little effort.

Even if it gets worse, I think I can fill in the fuzzy blanks, plus it is as much about sounds and smells as sight anyway.

Shortly after beginning our adventures, I went to my eye doctor and said, I don't need contacts for daily wear, but I do want them for going out on Saturday night. They didn't need to be perfect, but they DID need to be comfortable. So now I have single use contacts which are perfect for playing- very comfortable and no glasses to remove.

I leave my contacts in but I've been known to play in glasses when my play partner thinks they're sexy

I'm thinking that as we get older, poor eyesight may be an asset sexually. Things being a bit fuzzy around the edges might well be a good thing particularly once we get to the nursing home. I think then the glasses will stay on the bedside table!

Honestly it depends but I prefer to keep the specs on because I'm blind as a bat and besides it's part of my appeal...that cute librarian look!

Personally Lady C2S does not wear glasses and I wear contacts. Many times I take out the contacts and turn the lights to low. However we both are voyeurs and when we go to a party I leave in the contacts so as not to miss a thing.

Yep, my wife doesn't wear glasses, but will sometimes put on some librarian-esque reading glasses just because it turns me on.

Mrs. A here. I can't see a thing without my glasses, so I usually keep my contacts on. But if I know it's a party that goes well into the night or spending the night, I will wear my glasses. Some of our regular partners actually prefer me with glasses, so that works out well.

That's when mine come off! Glasses weren't designed for that activity. Then I'm fumbling around tying to find a safe place to leave them where we won't roll over on them or some passer-by won't step on them!

be sure they are single use. A few years I was with a lady at a motel with dark figured carpet. She had regular contacts. When we got finished she had lost one. It took us about an hour to find it. It was fun looking for it tho.

At a recent house party I had a Close Encounter of the Third Kind (first kind, close examination; second kind, close oral-genital stimulation; third kind, a big surprise squirt in the eye). From now on I'm going to wear safety side-shield glasses and ear-canal-insert hearing protection.

We both wear glasses but we take them off (along with everything else!) when we are playing. Our eyesight is good enough that we can enjoy the view and the stimulus of watching each other engaging in sexual activity with another partner.

I like glasses on a guy and always get a little bummed when hubby takes his off during sex. I realize they get in the way, but I say leave them on as long as you can. Just remember that watching your wife should not get in the way of your interactions with the other lady.

I am vain about my glasses. I won't wear them out at parties/get-togethers.

Okay, that's kind of amazing. I was planning on posting the exact same thing -- my husband & I both wear glasses, and take them off. My only currently-active playmate leaves his on pretty much until he doesn't need them at all

Amusingly, my husband is near-sighted, and I am far-sighted. The result is that we wear glasses at opposite times!

Yes, I keep my glasses on because my eyesight is horrific. I worried about whether keeping them on would bother anyone when we first started but now that it's been more than a year, it's more of a logistical/practical reason why I keep my glasses on. Usually, it's pretty dark at the places we play so any boost in vision helps. Also, sometimes there's never a guarantee that there's a side table to place my glasses. But most of all, I just have sex with them on when we're out because most of the time, I don't even think about how I'm wearing glasses so it doesn't occur to me to take them off. However, when we're at home and it's just me and Mr. Sun, we both take the time to remove our glasses...maybe out of habit or because we know where everything is so don't accidentally bump into furniture or lose our glasses. If I take off my glasses at a party, there's too much risk of losing them (absently putting them somewhere and not remembering or someone moving them, etc.) and believe me, if I don't know where they are, I literally have to pat every surface to find them or ask for assistance because I really can't see all that well without them.

I wear contact lenses most of the time. It is why I never allow men to cum over my face in fear I'll get some irritation causing me to rub the lens from my eye.

I don't wear them in bed. I'm close up enough to see what is going on. If I'm going to watch from across the room I want to see what"s going on and I'll wear my glasses.

I have glasses, but don't wear them to parties unless they go with a themed outfit. I can see well enough without them, and they just get in the way. Mr. Sweet will wear his to parties, but takes 'em off when things heat up for the same reason.

Though we both wear glasses in order to see at a distance we don't keep them on during sex, either between ourselves or with others. I agree about the visual factor being important and there was a time I wore contacts when we went out not only to see potential action better, but because I thought specs made me look geeky. However, at present I don't concern myself as much with that and will just simply play without visual correction merely in order not to break them or have them get in the way. It is really not an issue since I can easily see the important body parts up close and would only have a problem if the action was across the room.

The missus here, I keep my glasses on at events. I only remove them in a hot & steamy close encounter. This also serves as a cue to my guy, that when I remove my glasses it is on!

I am short sighted but can see well enough to not need glasses during, but I do wear them up until we get to bed. They are just too annoying and slip down my face when I start getting vigorous. I might have to get some disposable contacts for future parties.

We both wear contacts when we go out to play. no issues having to take glasses off during play and we can see better during playtime.

I usually keep them on up to the point things really start to get going, then they come off. I'm not totally blind without them, but enough that I would certainly miss out on some feasting of the eyes if I took them off right away.

Just as an aside, I have asked several different playmates if they prefer I take them off right away, and the answer has always been just do what you are most comfortable with.

When we are four on the same bed, I can see my wife well enough without my glasses, so I may I may not take them off. When we are in separate rooms, "it don't matter", as George Carlin says. The I usually take them off because I can see very well out to about 3 feet. Also, they get in the way between the taut thighs of my partner.
