Swingers with security clearance and getting through background checks

Does anyone know of swingers who hold jobs requiring a US govt security clearance? How was the swinging issue handled in the clearance process? Also, has anyone had a clearance denied because of swinging? We are looking at a potential job that requires a polygraph with "lifestyle" questions (their term, not mine). Thanks!

We know several swingers in the military, a couple of them that are officers and hold high security clearances, and they have never had a problem. If they came out publicly they might. This is why they don't show pics in their profiles in anywhere but the "private" section.

I'm sure the "lifestyle" questions they are going to ask will not include those regarding your sex life. To my knowledge they can not ask questions about sex, sexual orientation, race, religion, etc. So I wouldn't worry about it too much.

A question for you though: is the job so wonderful that you are willing to give-up that much personal freedom to have it?

I haven't been in the Army for some time, but I know that when I was in the Army did not look favorable towards adultery, and this included consensual. We had clearances as well, and I can tell you that you should not lie, because if they catch you in a lie you will be stripped of your clearance.

My understanding is that Robert McGinley's (I believe the first president of the Lifestyles Organization) life was made a living hell by the government. I think he held a high security clearance job with the Air Force and they intercepted emails and gathered other information and drove him out. He then went on to devote much of his life being spokesperson for/and promoting the lifestyle. I would exercise extreme caution if you have such a job.

Yes the government has laws stating that you can not be discriminated against due to sexual orientation race etc. BUT the government follow their own rules...surely you jest WS lol.

Honestly, if you were to get this job, my advice would be to be very VERY discreet. But if they find out, maybe they will maybe they won't keep you on. But I would say, lying, on a polygraph, would be a sure fire way to end up with no clearance. I wish I could be of more help, but this sounds like one of those situations where you may need to weigh the good against the bad.

Hahahaha. =(

I've taken a single polygraph. And they asked both Sexual Orientation and Previous sex experiences.

The U.S. armed forces has an explicit policy of not asking about sexual orientation ("Don't ask, Don't tell"). Homosexuals or bisexuals who tell, cannot serve. (I realize that many swingers, especially males, are straight.)

This probably doesn't apply to you - it sounds like your job is non-military.

Just don't talk about it and do NOT use your .mil or .gov e-mail for anything even related to the lifestyle. Also do not play close to home.

Have fun!

Ok, time to weigh in.... I have had to take POLY's....and they DO ASK specific detail information...if you lie, your gone! If you tell the truth, it goes to a panel to "judge" you fit or not to hold a clearance... the don't ask don't tell policy does not apply to "special access programs" which can be identified by the nature of the clearance, and all POLY requirements are "special access".

Will one thing in your background or lifestyle disqualify you? no...not normally, unless it is drugs etc. I am a senior official, well until I retire real soon... my advice don't lie, don't lie, and don't worry, if you do not do drugs, you do not hide information, you're ok...

Now don't go around telling them anything unless they directly ask... if the question is do "you have anything in your background that could result in you being blackmailed", then by god answer NO...unless you really believe that you would turn over high secrets in order to keep your lifestyle secret... if that is so, then frankly you need another job.

PM me if you need to talk about this more.

 Great advice, and dead-on correct.

I Held a clearance, and the interview can be intimidating, even if you are "clean"

During my first background check, I indicated that I consumed on average, less than a 6pack of beer in a week. No problem, as that was within the boundaries.

Between that time, and time for my clearance update (5 years later maybe?) I had decided to stop drinking all together, mainly to lose some weight. When I was asked "How much do you drink", and I replied, "I don't", all kinds of bells and whistles went off with my interviewer. "Why? Did you have a drinking problem? Have you been treated for a drinking problem?" etc etc etc. Hell, I started wondering what my problem was!

--This wasn't the polygraph, just the personal interview segment.

They also asked me if I was gay, ever participated in homosexual acts, deviant sexual behavior, etc etc.

---That was a long time ago, and I was pretty damn vanilla back then. ;)

Telling the truth is the best way to go. If for no other reason than the fact that you are going to get an update every few years. You will be asked the same questions, and they are going to know what you answered five years before. Will you remember what your answers were?

Here's what they want to find out: Is there something about you or your life that, if the wrong person knew about, could blackmail you for secrets? ie: "We're going to tell your mother about your lifestyle if you don't give us XYZ"

Absolutely! No one likes a traitor. And when they get caught, they get to spend the next 40 years making big rocks into small rocks.

Good luck to you!

 I have held a very high clearance with the US Government. It is far past my time so they cannot use this against me, but I held a TS/SBI/SCI with nucerty. In short a little title for $250,000.00 clearance. Although they may not ask, but I think they will, do not lie. Caught in a lie and they will revoke your clearance quicker then shit!!! I will promise you that, no downgrade of clearance they will plain strip you of it pending on any criminal actions that they might bring up for not telling the truth.

When people talk about being discreet this what they are talking about... If you lie and get caught then they are going to want to know who you have been sleeping with and who they have been sleeping with. The list will go on and on. When I got out of high school and applied for my clearance FBI probed my whole neighborhood asking questions about me. Former employers and what not. Just be honest and open and tell the truth to all questions. Let them decide if you are right for the job.

What two4youinswva is talking about is the interview.

What JP51 is talking about is the polygraph which is your concern. Do what JP-51 said.

Don’t volunteer any information and if asked don’t lie - EVER. Your integrity and honesty is more important than all else. Next, I would seriously recommend having amnesia about your work or potential work as soon as you walk out the door and don’t bring it up here - OPSEC.

As long as you are discrete and never put yourself into a position that requires you to lie then there is no reason you shouldn’t be out having fun with your spouse.

Now back to sharing soft tantalizing bouqueted delectable brunettes with my wife – less she turns up a boy toy – well then…

Thank you to the original poster for starting this thread and to all who responded, I needed this advice as well. Since I haven't had an encounter yet, I think I will wait until after I have my poly, which should be soon.

I'm a former USAF Combat Controller. There were two couples who were swingers when I was in the military years ago and they, along with a few of their recruits, were discharged when it was discovered that they were swingers.

It's just like being 'gay' in the military. Our right wing government feels that anything that might be used as 'blackmail' if known can be a threat to security.

Now if our stupid, narrowminded, right wing government would use common sense they'd know that the only reason it can be used as blackmail is because of the fear of being caught. So, make it the soldier's personal choice and there's no fear. Duh!

Absolutely. I believe the whole convenient "threat" of blackmail is a "catch 22" and a red herring. The government ( and probably a whopping percentage of the public who haven't thought about the subject much) believes that swinging is sick, wrong, immoral, illegal, whatever - and if you engage in that kind of behavior, they don't want you on their team - period. It's a not so sneaky way of getting around the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy of what should be one's private life.

It's an interesting irony to me (given what I've read on the history of swinging) that it seems to have had its origins with military families (particularly Air Force) who adopted a polyamoric or tribal "group family" approach to the real possibility that some of them would not be coming back every time they went out on a mission. Unfortunately, swinging today (and to a lesser degree, the concept of deliberate, non-procreant, pleasurable sexual behavior with anybody ) is far from our society's idea of accepted activity. And those who embrace it can be subject to harsh discrimination if discovered. We're a minority not often protected. :(

Thank you all for your thoughtful replies and advice. I am the original poster and, out of paranoia (which may be overblown but I'm sure you understand given the question) wanted to post it anonymously. We never had any intention to try to lie about it if asked a direct question, but we just wanted to know whether we would Definitely be looking at a denial of clearance (and HAVE to start looking for another job) or whether there's any chance for this to go through. It sounds like the worst case scenario is if we get a screener who is very conservative in that the person considers swinging an example of inexcusable "poor judgment." I guess it's hit or miss who we get. So, we'll still be trying to drum up another job offer, but with less urgency. :)

Both my boyfriend and I work for the Federal Govt and we can't see how this kind of lifestyle would prevent you from getting a job. And like someone said before...they're not gonna ask you personal questions regarding your sex life. :nono:

Ok so this may be a bit taboo and yes there are plenty of issues that come with this… but our conversation (and fantasies) revolve around swapping and sex in this fashion.

It might sound silly but is this frowned upon in swinger circles? Would we be blacklisted or is there a place for this?

We wouldn’t be sleeping around and maybe hope to find a regular couple or 2 to have this fun with, but as a general rule what’s the community’s approach to those coming in and looking to have bareback sex?

We are laying low, not due to covid but other reasons. But in talking to friends, we just don’t hear as much about house parties, etc.  Has covid subdued interest? Or are we jaded and/or over the hill?

I haven't seen this addressed here, so I was wondering if anyone has been scammed or attempted to be scammed while swinging? Now we have had single guys lie about having a partner or one couple wanted me to loan them a sizable amount of money. So has any swingers tried to blackmail or scam you?

My wife, Tits, worked for a medium-sized company. It had the owner/president, Vice President COO, General Manager, and Vice President of Sales, her boss, Nick. Recently a fifth person., the DOD Sales Manager, had left the company. I will let Tits what happened...

Nick had put me in for the position.  When I got to work today, Nick called me into his office and said he told the management team wanted to interview me. They wanted to meet me tonight after work  at The Meeting Room. This was an upscale restaurant downtown in the tallest building in our little city. I was very excited because it was so swank!!

Nick told me later to go home and get ready for tonight's interview. He told me to wear a white blouse and black slacks but to dress to impress. I got home, showered, trimmed, and picked out my clothes. I picked a purple pair of thong underwear along with a sheer camisole with no bra. I have DD tits and they looked great in my cammy. I picked out a white, but not too business, blouse but left the top three buttons undone for cleavage. The slacks were my best silk pants. Just long enough to be perfect with my heels.

On my way to the restaurant I called my hubby to explain what was going on and I have a chance to get a management position that paid six figures. He was excited and told me I had earned this opportunity and to knock‘em dead!!!

I arrived at the meeting room and was excited. We had never been here before and I was told it was very expensive. I walked through the door and was surprised that it was a very large bar and dining hall but upstairs there were five doors.

Nick came from the bar and told me I looked great and told me we were meeting with the inner circle of upper management . They were Hal Greene, owner and President; Bill Whaley,VP; Randy Cline, Chief Operations Manger; Nick; and myself. Nick had been DOD Sales Manager for 10 years and I have been his assistant for seven years.

After getting into the private room upstairs, the waiter brought in some sparkling water and a nice bottle of Dom on ice. After the waiter left and we settled in to the interview I was told this position was considered a management position and paid $80,000 a year plus bonuses. This position was level with Nick but I would work very closely with him until I learned the ropes.

Hal then spoke up and told me I was the number one candidate and that the team felt very comfortable with me but had to be assured that I could move in step with the others. This was to show the non inner circle management and the other 153 employees that as a manager team we are are a solid wall and we move as one. Many of the deals we make are confidential and what happens here must stay here even from our family. "Can you do that Debbie (my real name)?" Hal asked. I told them I would do what ever it takes. "Fantastic," said Hal and they clapped. He said, "Get the waiter and let’s eat and drink!!"

After a fantastic meal we opened the champagne and had many drinks. We soon got to business and started to discuss contracts. About a half an hour later the room seem to get warm. Hal stood first, checked the thermostat, and then removed his dress shirt and hung it on a chair, followed by Randy, Bill, and Nick. I sat for a minute, then stood and removed my blouse and hung it on chair, the management team moving as one. Bill said don’t call a repair guy, we are almost done. 15 minutes later Randy got up and removed his slacks and hung them on a chair. He was followed by the rest of the guys, so I stood up and followed suit. Looking at Nick I could tell he was nicely hung as were the others, but Hal was wearing briefs and it looked like he was hiding a squirrel in his shorts! I was sure they were looking at my g-string now wet!! They soon removed their undershirts and I my cammy and was now topless with very hard nipples and even more wet!!!!

After a few more drinks Hal stood up and removed his briefs and stood before me with a huge veiny cock. He took my hand and turned me around and pulled down my g-string and sat me down on his huge cock. The rest of the team gathered in front of me playing with huge tits and stroking themselves and cumming on my face tits and stomach!!! I came sooo hard when Hal suddenly exploded inside of me, it felt great!! A

s I sat there Nick brought me a warm towel and help me clean up. After we got dressed the team clapped and welcomed me to the inner circle. Hal came over and told me I was to receive the sign on bonus of $2,500 cash tonight. And on my first check in my new position I will get another $2,500 and I will be getting a salary of $100,000 per year plus bonuses and a company credit card as I will be traveling a lot with the sales team.

I told my hubby I was getting a $2,500 sign on bonus.… wait until he reads this 🙀.   Tits!!

      Hey guys,

We're new to this whole swinging thing and haven't gotten started yet. The one thing that really bugs me is safety! Obviously condoms for intercourse are a given.

I read an article the other day about how rampant mouth/throat cancer has become because of HPV transmitted through oral sex.

Oral sex with condoms is just about worse than no oral sex at all!

Don't know what to do... how do you all handle safety?!

      Thanks!
