Swingers Universal Signal

Is there such a thing as a universal signal that would let people know definately that they are swingers? for example, I have heard that a woman wearing an anklet on her right leg is a pretty good sign that she is a swinger ... (personally, I wouldnt bet on it) ...but just wondering if anyone knew of any others ....Thanks

I'm thinking about which ankle I wore my anklet on before I was a swinger!

Anywho, I've not heard of any secret handshake or anything like that, although that certainly would make things easier. Our swingdar is not so finely tuned.

After we had our first experience (which was in a club), we each had to get a large 'S' branded on our foreheads.

We have heard the whole dolphin/apple thing before. I know with braclettes, anklettes you have to be careful because the S&M folks use that too. I don't remember which hand, ankle, etc.. so that's why I say be careful

I've never heard of any universal signals and after reading this thought it might be nice if some of the things mentioned were actually true but then that would sort of take all the fun out of it.

We met a couple once who were swingers. We knew they were swingers before we met them, thats why we met.

Anyway we had heard, before meeting this couple, about the dolphin & apple thing. When we met them she was wearing dolphin jewlery and he had an apple pin on.

Mrs naughty wears a toe ring with dolphins on it. But I do not wear the apple. To hard to explain to the vanilla crowd why I am wearing an apple pin.

The most widely known symbol of swingers is the NASCA apple (the above mentioned apple with a bite out of it), worn by both men and women.

I know the NASCA apple symbol with a bite taken out of it. for those who want more than one bite. It would be great if there was a certin charm that was discreet as far as the symbol goes but still distinct and original enough to be able identify other swingers. Maybe some one could come up with a few ideas and get a poll going. Hell i know we would buy two.

There is a few people/companies that have put out different ones. Some of them pretty cool, some of them WAY OVER PRICED but it seems that like everything else in the lifestyle no one can agree on anything so none of them really sold much.

I don't know that I would like to wear an apple around my neck, it wouldn't match everything I wore. I think it would raise more eyebrows thinking "couldn't you come up with something cooler than that". I would like to see something with the infinity symbol (silver or gold) for the infinite possibilities you can have when you expand your mind, sexuality, and partners.

It just dawned on me the other day that the universal symbol of swingers should be the duck. Has anyone ever watched ducks in the spring? They are nature's swingers!

It would be nice to know if there is an established symbol. Among participants of the BDSM lifestyle, there is a universal symbol that is loaded with MEANING and HISTORY. My Princess has worn her collar and medallion for more than 3 years, 24/7, and the comments received have all been positive, whether the symbol is recognized or not.
