Our former health insurer paid for Cialis. Our new insurer has declined to pay for it. My urologist tried to get it pre-authorized, but it was declined.

Does anyone use a Canadian pharmacy for less expensive pills? They want $400/month for 2.5mg tablets in the USA. PS, I take no other medication and I’ve been blessed with good health. These bums can’t pay for one thing.

I can accept a private message if you do not want to broadcast ED med use. Thanks.

I currently use alldaychemist and they have it at reasonable prices. Put the dotcom at the end and while is says not for consumption in the US you can still order it.

I ordered it from Canada RX Connection. It is approximately half the US price. It was easy to order and the phone rep was very helpful. I will let you know if it is the real deal.

Of course, after I ordered Cialis from Canada, my insurer accepted the appeal from my urologist for Cialis. So I went from 400 to 212 to 40/month. It’s the only prescription drug I use!

If your trying a new supplier my advice is to only buy a very small amount.

Just buy a sample pack of 5 pills and figure out if they are real / if they work for you.

Seems there are a lot of fake pills on the internet, not only fake placebo like pills, but also pills with the wrong / very low dosage.

Don't jump in and buy a 100 pills, just buy 5 or 10 and try them out first before ordering more.

Cialis comes in a sample pack? My urologist advised that a number of days are needed for it to become effective. If this is true, it would not be logical for a manufacture to put the medication into sample packs.

Your doctor might have been talking about the "daily use" mini-dose which some people use like a vitamin supplement. If you normally need 10-20mg for one-time use, I'd imagine you might need to use the 5mg for a week or so to get a steady effect.

Normally, it does enter the bloodstream quickly like Viagra, and will remain effective for about 48 hours. In my experience, it's more like 72.

The Canadian pills come in an Eli Lilly packaging that says Cialis. If it is counterfeit, they went to a lot of trouble. I believe it is authentic.

I use low dose Cialis (5mg) and find that it works very rapidly, within a couple of hours. I usually take it for a few days prior to any planned sexual activity, just to be sure, and find it works VERY well. In my case, the effects last for several days after stopping taking it.

Yes most of the ED drugs come in trial packs.

I believe Cialis comes in two different doses, the smaller dosed pills for daily use, and the bigger dosed pills for occasional use.

The trial packs however allow the patient to figure out what works best for them.

For example I tried Cialis and all it does for me is give me a massive headache and bloodshot eyes, Cialis has very little effect on my erections where as Viagra works fine.

Sadly ED drugs area funny thing, for some people Viagra will work fine, for other people all Viagra does is give them headache, same with Cialis, for some people it works, for others it doesn't.

People generally need to understand that:

Cialis - Is suppose to be for ongoing / regular use, that you need to take it for a number of days so it builds up in your system, hence why ya lot of doctors suggest taking Cialis everyday.

Viagra - Is suppose to be taken 30 to 60 minutes before having sex, Viagra is more of an instant fix.

Personally I much prefer Viagra.

I don't see the point taking a medication on a daily basis unless you are having sex everyday. I mean sure if you do have sex every single day then that's fine, if however your taking an expensive pill everyday and only having sex once of twice a week then it just feels like pouring money down a drain.

But like stated for some people Viagra doesn't work or causes to many side effects, where for others Cialis doesn't work.

Cialis is very much aimed to be a longer term treatment.

Personally I find breaking a Viagra pill in half and washing it down with a warm drink like tea or coffee means within 20 minutes I'm rock hard.

The one problem I have found with Viagra is that if you eat shortly before using them then it takes away about 80% of the effectiveness. I'd not suggest eating for at least 2 hours before using Viagra.

But yes sample packs are available.

I want to clear up a couple of misconceptions in Sun&Moon's post above (no offence S&M)...

Cialis actually comes in 4 dosage strengths, 2.5mg, 5gm, 10mg and 20mg. The lower doses (2.5mg and 5mg) are generally used as daily medications, while the higher doses are "as needed". The daily low dose is also used for BPH (Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy). This is part of the reason for daily dosing. Cialis is not necessarily aimed at long term treatment, unless for BPH, or spur (sperm?) of the moment action (same as Viagra).

Viagra is no more of an instant fix than the higher doses of Cialis.

The nice thing is that there are choices. If one doesn't work for you, the other might. There is also Levitra which is in the same class of drugs.

I would caution against breaking any pill in half, especially those intended for slow release (ED drugs are not slow release however). Breaking pills in half will sometimes break down the slow release matrix and cause the drug to be absorbed much faster than intended.

As mentioned in my previous post, I start taking low dose Cialis a few days before a planned sexual encounter, and it most often starts working after the first dose. On the day the action is to take place, I will take the full dose, just to be sure (Cialis or Viagra).

Almost any medication comes in a trial sample pack. Pharmaceutical Sales Reps provide these to physicians for this precise reason, as a trial. Just ask your doctor. Unless he's hoarding them for himself, he should be happy to supply you with some.

Thanks HornyToronto, I knew Cialis came in different dosages but wasn't sure what amounts.

Sadly however I have tried Cialis twice and experienced really bad side effects, mainly extreme headaches that last for hours ?

Viagra however works really well for me without the side effects.

Also I have always cut my pills in half, in fact there are various different "Pill Cutters" available from pharmacies, even ones specifically for Viagra and other ED drugs.

Cutting Viagra pills in half is a fairly common practice, and your right cutting pills in half does make them work faster which is useful if your pressed for time and need quicker results.

Can't say I have ever experienced any side effects from cutting the pills in half, but perhaps Cialis is different if it is a daily dosage.

Using Viagra, or actually Sildenaful. It works, comes in 20mg tabs, so i can take the 40 or 60mg dose that works ok & save the extra. (100mg is the recommended maximum dosage.) Thirty tabs cost me $31 & change at the grocery store pharmacy.

Powdering the tabs can speed up results, tho there are practical limits to that as well. Ordinarily I have results in 30 minutes. Crushing the tabs speeds it up to twenty minutes, maybe fifteen. Its kind of subjective, & there is the psyche factor.

Just finished watching a YouTube video about the O and P shot, I had never heard of this. This is for middle aged men and women where a doctor uses a vial of your own blood, spins it and takes the platelets to inject back into the clitoris or the penis to improve blood flow. The doctor who did the video said she gets this treatment about every 9 months. She recommends this for people having problems with ED problems or orgasm difficulties.  So, have you heard of this or have you had this treatment?

Just wondering, how do you feel physically after taking the med? How much time does it take to go into effect? How long does it last? Is there more ejaculate?

Last time I was at the urologist office, I asked about Cialis. I walked away with a sample box of 30, 5 mg. The drug is, I can tell you, effective in more than one way. I need to arise only once per night to pee rather than three times. And things are happening that have not happened in many years -- unexpected erections in the middle of the day, on-demand erection, longer-lasting erection.

I have asked the doc. to talk Express Scripts. If he tells them the right things, I'll be able to have this stuff for $33 a month. I've been paying that much for just two Viagra.

      This is great!

The situation: We've been in the lifestyle for about 4 years now and I've never had a problem with erection (knock on wood). My problem (if you can call it that) is that lately I have not been able to get it up a second time! I, know, many of you are playing the world's smallest as I write this. All kidding aside, something has to be done...no?

My background: Turning 40 with the libra sun, lost 40 some pounds this last year, don't drink alcohol, don't smoke but enjoying having sex with other men's wives .

The wishlist: The love of my life (ball and chain) is taking me to Vegas next week to celebrate my 40th and it's also our first time in Sin City. I have an appointment with the doc before I leave and wanted to ask for some 'recreational sex drugs' to help with lasting longer amongst other things. However, like the post title says, it's mostly about getting a second if not a third 'woody' so that I am able to "party in your bedroom, all night long" to quote a Top40 song playing at the moment.

The Drugs: Levitra and Viagra are the Pepsi and Coke of the recreational sex drug world with not many differences between the two, while Cialis seems to be of the energy drink flavour such as Red Bull. Like with all things in the world, some claim that Viagra is best and others swear by Levitra and Cialis. I, know it's a matter of personal choice and what works for you but I would like to hear from other guys in a similar siuation.

The Bottom Line: I might drink on a night or two, eat at buffets and have sex with someone's wife...I'd like to be able to have sex with her twice if possible...even with a few drinks in me and too much buffet food!?!

Which recreational sex drug would you recommend to your buddy?
