Is Cialis available from somewhere at a reasonable price?

Recommended Posts

We changed insurance plans. Whereas I used to pay a $40 co-pay, our current insurer does not pay at all. It would cost $400 for 30 5mg pills.

Can it obtained from Canada? I heard that the patent expires in 2017, but I am unaware of any generic manufacturers who will make it.

The "trick" for me was to have the urologist who wrote the prescription to call the people who sponsor my health-care plan to tell that that I "needed" this medication to treat a condition that makes me get up three times a night to pee. There is some kind of Latin language name for this kind of condition, which I do not recall. But the urologist knew what to call it and the sponsor of the health-care plan went for the story and I now pay about #300 for a three-month (daily) supply of 5mg tabs. #.33 per day seems reasonable to me.

I now get up, by the way, only once a night to pee. This stuff works for more than one than one thing.

The patent was set to expire on April 26, 2020. As part of the agreement, Cialis exclusivity is now expected to end at the earliest on September 27, 2018. This doesn't mean that there will be a generic at that time or that the patent will actually expire and not be extended. Lilly made an estimated $1.4 BILLION on Cialis in 2016 ALONE so I don't think that they will allow their cash cow to end so easily.

Now Viagra...that's another animal. Apparently the patent on Viagra isn't going to expire any time soon, but the patent for Sildenafil (the active ingredient in Viagra) as a treatment for pulmonary hypertension HAS expired. Main difference is Viagra is usually 100mg while as a treatment for hypertension it is 20mg (meaning that you need more for the same effects...however that might not always be true). Dr CAN write a Rx for the generic and since it IS generic the cost is slightly less (instead of over $60 EACH PILL, it can be as low as $5 for 50 20mg pills (or $.50 a 100mg dose). Can't buy that ANYWHERE on the net for that price, real or fake. Not sure how I know that, but I do.

Yes you can get the generic version of Cialis or any of the E D drugs from Canadian Pharmacy King, with a prescription. I have the generic version from India and the work fine, it is very cost effective. I am 60 years old and they work good for me. Go on their website and you can get the max dosage with the prescription. Good luck.

1. Cialis and the generic Tadalafil are both availalble from Canada without being raped by pharmaceutical companies.

2. Remember that all genuine ED meds are prescription only. Don't believe any of the "snake oil" ads. (Like the vast majority, if it was that easy and cheap don't you think the big pharm companies would be selling it!!!)

3. I use 5mg daily use Tadalafil (generic Cialis). I get it mail order online from Northwest Pharmacy. Northwestpharmacy.com Well respected, trusted and reviewed and certified. About $33 per month!!!! I take it for BPH, but it sure as hell works for the originally intended purpose!! Really rock hard erections and long duration at the drop of a hat (well panties.... LOL - any kind of arousal actually) and I'm 68 - slightly bigger I think too.

4. Viagra is already in generic form in USA and was released in Sept 2017. They released their own "generic" at about half the regular extortion price - which is still extortion. Guess they think people are dumb. Let me see - you are making these two identical pills and selling one for half the price of the other.... um.... WTF? Tadalafil generic will be released in USA this year. However if they too try to play the same dumb-ass game, just continue to go to Canada or some other brand of generic here. Remember that in spite of the bullshit scaremongering drug companies try fool us with, ALL generic drugs are tested and certified and must by law contain the same active ingredient and have the same effectiveness as the original brand name product, period.

This is for any US Veterans here who are on the VA heath system. Viagra (the real blue pills) are available for your co-pay. I got my PCP to prescribe them, no problem.
