Just Masturbating??

We were looking at a profile of a couple that was just in to masturbating... Does this happen often?? In a way this is a great way to start with a couple if you don't want to just jump right in. Has anyone just masturbated with another couple??

I've seen one or two on-line profiles the specify masturbation only. But only one or two. My experience tells me that this is rare.

I do not recall seeing any profiles where the couple indicated that they were interested exclusively in masturbating in the presence of another couple.

Have we had the occasional play date where somebody masturbated with the rest of us as an audience, or also putting on a masturbation show for them? Yup, that has happened a few times.

What I retrospectively identify as my first experience of lifestyle - an unplanned one, though my then wife and I had discussed getting involved - was pretty much exactly that. She and I each masturbated the opposite sex partner in the other couple. My wife got him off several times. The female half of the couple (who 16 years later became my current wife) enjoyed herself but didn't orgasm.

I think it's fairly rare. Like anything in swinging, look hard enough and you will probably find someone into the exact same thing you are looking for with the same rules and boundaries, but that search would likely take some patience.

Just as an aside, and possible explanation, I wonder how many people would be more self-conscious masturbating in front of someone new versus actually having sex with them? Never have actually tried that with someone new (although have with established play partners), but just thinking about it, I'd count myself in that group I think.

If that is what you want then go for it but if you are looking more then why not find a profile that matches what you are really looking for.
