Can a single male just be a friend

Recommended Posts

I have been single for many years. I got into the lifestyle thanks to some friends. I enjoyed their company and lots of others I met through them. My problem is I don't want a long term commitment with a single lady. I do enjoy the times I have been with ladies as friends. Some ladies feel that if you date them more than several times you are a couple. When it starts getting too serious I usually back out of the relationship. Several ladies I have dated even stalked me. It got scary. That is why I prefer to play with couples. Someday my attitude might change but for now I want no commitments. I have always told the ladies up front my feelings and they go along. Then when they start getting to chummy I stop seeing them. I prefer couples I enjoy watching her enjoy my and her partners attention. I like having a fishing partner and a sex partner in one. I find though many couples don't want a long term relation with a single male. Here in the pacific North west I am also finding the lifestyle is going away. There are no longer clubs or house parties. The lifestyle dance clubs are gone also. I don't want to get into a relationship just so I can attend couples parties, but I also don't want to lead a lady on. What should I do?

I see that you have an SLS profile. That a good way for couples to find you. Your profile is only two months old so give it more time. Things do not happen right away at a Web site like SLS. Sending our my good wishes for success in finding people.

Patience my man. I understand the attraction to this situation. There are plenty of couples out there looking for you. You just have to make yourself both easy to find, and desirable to contact.

I doubt swinging is on the decline. The Northwest is an area of the country where sparse population and ingrained culture rules can make organized swing events, pointless.

Good luck!
