Communication options/ apps or what

Hi, so totally new to all of this. My husband and i have been to a club 3 times and have profile on SLS. We have been messaging back and forth with a couple who has now asked for our phone number. So, I’m curious if we should give out our real phone number or does anyone have reccomendation of other options. Thanks so much!

The "KIK" mobile app is very popular, allows good anonymity, and offers easy control (blocking) of other users who may get your ID.

We have used Kik and Whatsapp (but with WhatsApp they get your phone number). My husband doesn't mind giving out his number, so he will also do that.

Is it possible to meet at the club or another public place? I used to insist upon talking on the phone prior to meeting, never had any negative experiences with unwanted calls after but lately have just been agreeing to meet in public and being clear there will be no play on the first meet. I don’t like endless messages. It’s a bummer to get excited after a great phone conversation but when you meet it just isn’t there. I have also heard some people use burner phones. I briefly tried Kik but didn’t find it useful to me.

There is an App called Text Free. You get a phone number in the area code you wish and can use it to text with playmates. It is free and works great. You can always give play partners your actual phone number at a later date if all goes well. You can use Text Free for phone calls as well but you need to purchase minutes.
