Friends who pretend they don't know you swing

I saw the above quote in the "Oh, they're swingers you know" thread and it made me wonder...

How many who keep their swinging to themselves have friends that you think know but they choose not to say anything?

We have at least one. She was brought into our circle by marrying a friend, and it didn't take her long to figure out we were a little different. She's made comments before when introducing us to her friends like "This is so and so, they're really cool. They don't stick to each other like glue, they mingle with who they want to mingle with, then get back together to touch base, then go their own way to mingle some more without getting all jealous about it."

That together with her having met some of our swinger friends at mixed parties and the usual vagueness on exactly how we all met probably reinforced that.

Oh yeah, she likes to bring up swinging too on occasion in conversation, but we don't even nibble at that bait.

We haven't really experienced this. We are still in the phase of "Which of our friends are swingers." We had one of our friends put an inflatable unicorn on another friends boat as a joke. I commented that I really like unicorns and one of our female friends made a bit of a comment on it. She was on my suspects list but has moved up. I think it would be awkward to play the whole we know but we act like we don't.
