Big House Parties vs Small. What's the Difference?

Have been swinging off & on for several decades, Couples swaps, threesomes, small house parties, & recently clubs. For New Years my FWB & I have been invited too a large house party. 40 persons on the guest list. This is way above the small house/hotel parties I've been to in the past. Anyone with experience in the larger parties have any advice? I hope to avoid doing anything particularly silly

I've played with two of the couples on the guest list & chatted several hours with another couple attending. So, we won't be complete strangers there. Also only bi swingers are on the guest list.

The thing that has always concerned me about those types of parties is how well managed they would be. Seems like the size of the crowd could easily overwhelm the hosts ability to keep up with everything.

We went to our share of 'big' house parties. 20 people up to more than 50. Personally, we loved them.

The biggest difference from a club is there are more people who are ready to play. It got wild rather quickly. And instead fo being two couples in a room, it tended to be much more open.

Having said that, I don't remember there ever being a problem with 'no means no,' and my wife never had an encounter she didn't enjoy. So . . .

I did not even try to keep up with everything. Joined some folks at the massage table & a lady I'd played with in November swapped massage with me, then oral. Another man I'd chatted with joined her sucking my cock for a while. I see I didn't really answer your question. You already have my answer about big, here's how it differs from small.

When you get a smaller group of people together, four to six, there seems to be a lot more 'negotiation' before play. People are sometimes almost reluctant to commit themselves sometimes, even if everyone knows they are there to have fun. The sex seems to take a little longer, is more sensual sometimes.

In a bigger group there's a Margaritaville atmosphere.
