House parties - how long before you bail and leave?

Recommended Posts

When it comes to swinging house parties, how much of a chance do you give them before you pull the plug and just bail on out of there? 30 minutes? An hour? Two hours? Stay all evening hoping the party will suddenly come to life or things will start looking up for you?

Have you ever been proven wrong where you wanted to leave but didn't for whatever reason and then the night ended up turning out great?

So house parties and clubs, I am going to put them in the same category.

I really feel you with this thread and idea. You go out and are all hopped up for a party and the crowd sucks out loud. Nothing you can do about it. Nobody interesting and nobody wants to play. It happens a lot.

So with clubs, what is always interesting is that people arrive LATE. Like one in the morning late. So we have had a number of incidences where things didn't get interesting until one or two in the morning.

No here's my but, sometimes it just never gets interesting?? I know, drag right. So we have called it a night and left early a few time, I will admit.

Currently I have flipped back the other way and decided to stay let's and make the night. Hey, I am still with my wife and enjoy giving an erotic show. You guy's can't get it together, no problem watch us. Really last night was a case in point when a couple who couldn't speak to us, showed up to watch us fuck. Well I called them out on it, next thing you know we had a soft swap situation going.

I get it though being the life of the party all the time can be a drag.

It's not a time thing for us. We usually stay until most of the guests arrive before we bail. You never know if the right playmates will walk in the door. So we usually asked the host beforehand how many people is he or she expecting, and as the night goes on, we always find a spot with direct sight of the door. If I spent hours trying to doll myself up, I owe it to myself to wait it out some.

I know people hate it when the answer is "it depends" but it really does. With big house parties (around the 30+ couples), you can feel certain vibes. Sometimes the vibe is "hot wife"/sausage vibe. Other times it's "dead" (no one playing and/or socializing) vibe. Other times it's a friendly, mingle, and playing vibe. The reason is all about who is attending and the ratio of single men to couples.

With small house parties (10 or less couples), there's more pressure to stay and wait it out just because of social graces. You don't have the liberty to pop in then pop out if it seems like a dud...it's more noticeable to other guests.

So, with big house parties, if the vibe isn't right, we bail pretty quickly. If we're on the fence, we'll wait it out for about an hour to see what happens. If nothing is really happening by 11 pm, it's a dud.

With small house parties, patience is a virtue. Since we have a curfew, parties or any swinging activity have a Cinderella feel to it for us since we don't have the luxury of lounging around until 3 am or later to play and repeat.
