Revenge of the Nerds

Recommended Posts

Good work! My intellectual capacity far exceeds my physical attributes. Recently, a play partner said she was attracted to me by my intelligence. Wow.

Just got another SLS message tonight “I am attracted to your wife but my wife is not attracted to your husband (me).” Just for my image, I am 61, but I think I am above average in looks in a studious way.

On behalf of nerds everywhere, we salute you. BTW, do you remember in Revenge of the Nerds when Betty thought Louis in a Darth Vader outfit was her boyfriend and he blew out her circuits? The secret super power of nerds.

We know this feeling, it happens all the time. We think more than half are fakes or only comfortable with adding another woman to the mix.

It takes much longer to find 4-way compatibility and even though most say they will not take one for the team, there are times when two are into it and the other two are along for the ride.

If someone sent us a note saying, “I am attracted to your wife but my wife is not attracted to your husband (me)” I might assume that they are asking for either a solo date with my wife or a threesome without his wife. In either case, I probably wouldn't go further with the escapade. As you say, it's not a very nice thing to say.

If you are asking for a solo or threesome (assuming his wife and her husband is okay with it) just ask for that. Be honest.

Now I kind of want to watch that show. Quantum entanglement, mechanics, theory has always intrigued me. I love astronomy and wish to pursue some amateur astrophotography in the near future and I would have been shocked just as you were. Way to go!

Einstein came out with his papers on mass–energy equivalence and his paper which explained the photoelectric effect when he was 26 (that helped spawned the birth of quantum mechanics). He spent a large part of the rest of his life trying to disprove his own theories since E = mc2 does not equal 1 (God does not play with dice). If he only was able to solve his Unified field theory, then we would probably all be driving flying cars (I was promised flying cars when I was a kid...where are my flying cars?).

The paper on the photoelectric effect was one of four papers published in what would become known as the "miracle year". See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Annus_Mirabilis_papers Each of the papers is breathtaking in its implications. Together, they remain -- by and large--the foundations of contemporary physics.

As biologists and medical types, we have special interest in physical phenomena that influence biological processes such as Brownian motion and the effects of photons on tissues. These achievements resonate in our professions as well.

Yes, it is a bit weird to be celebrating such things on a swinger site. We are nerds and damn proud of it.

I'm a nerd too. I just found that out tonight. We have news for the beautiful people. There's a lot more of us then there are of you. I know there's alumni here tonight. When you went to Adams you might've been called a spazz, or a dork, or a geek. Any of you that have ever felt stepped on, left out, picked on, put down, whether you think you're a nerd or not, why don't you just come down here and join us. Okay? Come on.

Just join us cause uh, no-one's gonna really be free until nerd persecution ends.

I was just having a conversation with the guy who taught the class last night at Fairvilla and lo and behold he is a retired IT guy who now teaches. He commented on how many engineers/Tech related people were in this community. I guess we can add another one here.

The more people I converse with ,the less weird it seems.

My wife can distinguish between Braxton Hicks contractions and Lorentz contractions.

Is that while she is midwifing a live birth at nearly the speed of light?

I'm nearly speechless. This is hilarious, and your comment quoted above was priceless. Thanks for making my day.

Yes! And the tricky part is that the amount of cervical dilation is dependent upon the time dilation due to the reference frame of the observer.

BTW, it is said that in addition to Dr. Erwin Schrödinger's cat, Mrs. Schrödinger had a pussy that was difficult to get your mind around. Something to do with a double slit, which is an interesting subject in itself.

That is _really_ nerdy! You two must spend time at Los Alamos...

Double-slit-> twins, and nothing to do with wave-particle duality...

True that, and while we are fans of relativistic effects, faster is not always better---at least in our experience...

Don't tell my mother that I'm a physicist; she thinks I'm the piano player at Schrödinger's cat house.

I dated a woman physicist in college. She was a great sex partner and we did some swapping with other couples. But she wouldn't engage in an FFM or MMF. It puzzled me until I realized that it was because physicists couldn't deal with the three body problem.

And what they say about black holes is true - you can't go back.

Numex is a play on Numec - Bettis Laboratories, Apollo Industries, Dr. Zalman Shapiro. I am in that business.

Yup. And we will eschew the "neutron walks into a bar" jokes...

A proton walks into a bar and tells the bartender he left his keys there. The bartender says he doesn't have any keys, is he sure he left them here. The proton says 'I'm positive!'.

...sorry.

Actually, little is settled as far as that goes. Unless you being in SW Pa were involved.
