Finally had a local experience work out!

So we had that one experience back at Hedonism (our first) and had been having dinner dates since trying to make something happen again. All of the local dates turned out to be busts and I came on here and posted that we wondered if it would ever work out locally.

It finally happened. We had a nice dinner date with a couple we clicked with. We chatted heavily afterwards going over possible scenarios. They are as normal as can be in real life with a busy schedule, but we managed to schedule a play date soon after the dinner. We are open to trying full swap, but they are currently at soft so we were ok with that.

Boy did it work out! This time around the beginner nerves weren't there and we did all sorts of things that are burned into my mind now as pleasant memories. The wife went full on girl/girl action with kissing, etc without any kind of apprehension as well.

Afterwards we all cleaned up and went out to dinner without any awkwardness! The next morning we went about our normal lives without even so much as a second thought about it.

Have we officially graduated to swinger status? We still haven't done full swap but after that I'm fully confident we could handle it. We even giggled about it as we discussed it.

In my mind, 'Swingers' is a term that is used for any couple that opens their marriage to sexy times with other people, whether penetration occurs or not. But don't get hung up on terms, just go and have fun - that's the whole idea.

The giggling and the excitement the day after is one of the best parts. You entered something, as a couple, that gave you apprehension and caused a great deal of nervousness and you came out on the other side a better, stronger couple. I think that's what we all want out of this, getting stronger as a couple. Being able to experience what society has always told us is taboo, having sex with other people, is an pretty awesome benefit.
