Pregnancy & swinging

Recommended Posts

As far as I can see, condoms are highly recommended for this lifestyle and of course regular birth control. Do surprise pregnancies occur often? If so, how would you approach this situation if you were the person pregnant? Should I ask male swinging partners if they are pro-choice or is that weird?

It's the woman's choice. It is always the woman's choice even if she wants to consult with someone else. I could understand if a woman gets knocked up by a stranger and wants to keep the child, I can also see a woman wanting to get pregnant with her husband but aborting for various reasons. It is not an easy decision for a woman, but it is our decision.

If the husband asked me that question, my erection would disappear and would probably require a nationwide silver alert to ever be found again. We would probably pass on a younger/fertile couple whose only form of bc was a condom. There are some risks in enjoying this hobby, pregnancy however is pretty much totally preventable. If faced with a reasonable chance that a partner could get pregnant, we'd politely thank them and move on.

Ah, I see. I was just wondering. I got sterilized after my second child at 26 yrs old. I would also use condoms with other men.

From what I know about my friends who play, we are all on some kind of birth control. I would never depend on condoms to prevent pregnancy. Condoms are more for disease control. I think I am younger than most on here. I don’t have children yet, I have not had my tubes tied, and I am still able to get pregnant which I hope to be in the future. The only person I want to have a child with is my husband which I pray we will be able to do when we plan. If I became pregnant now I am pretty sure what I would want to do and I am pretty sure my husband would agree. I hope I don’t have to make that decision. Right now there are only two men I am with and one is my husband. I would never put the other one in a position he wouldn’t want to be in. On that matter I wouldn’t put anyone in that position. My husband and I would deal with any situation.

So, PSU, what form of birth control do you use?

I was on the pill but changed to a shot which I get every couple of months. It’s called Depo-Provera. I’m sure your gyno has it if you ask. I am looking into getting an implant which lasts years. It takes the hassle out of getting shots all the time.

What do you guys use?

From personal experience I have found the implant to work best with girls I have dated, sadly however the implant doesn't suit everyone, in some women it can cause very long bleeding / itching / pains in the arm / general pains and cramps in the arm.

In my experience of the implant women seem to have side effects for anywhere from 2 to 6 months after which it settles down, some women can't cope with the side effects such as bleeding a lot / a little pain and discomfort, where other women sail through it and it soon passes.

I have never had a women get pregnant when she has had an implant fitted and that has been with two guys cumming inside them at least 2 or 3 times each per visit.

With previous girlfriend we have cum in them up to 10 times in a single night and no pregnancy follows.

Sadly however the MALE version of the implant doesn't work yet :(

For example a women can get an implant and wait about 2 weeks for it to take effect and then its fine job done, if a male gets the male version of the implant it basically tries to kill his testosterone so they don't produce sperm, which is really difficult because so many different things can increase testosterone production, working out / certain foods / sun light / vitamin supplements / decreased levels of stress all increase testosterone production so it throws the balance off totally.

The male version of the implant (at the moment) would mean a man needed weekly blood tests / further injections or tablets / constantly monitoring his testosterone levels, basically it doesn't work, one week the male implant might work fine, the next week the man might eat certain foods / work out a little / feel a bit less stressed and his sperm production increases and bang it the implant doesn't work.

For a women however the implant seems to work really well, the only trouble is most health places are reluctant to take them out, that you can get an implant fitted but if you don't like it / if it gives harsh side effects then most doctors ask the women to stick with it. I guess that depends on what country you are from, for example if you get the implant FREE from a sexual clinic then they won't just remove it because of any old reason, if you PAY for the implant to be fitted then I guess you have more choice about if / when they remove it.
