Attraction to couple-great for the wife not for the husband

We met this couple and have been together 3 times. The couple is very attractive, but I think that the wife wants to be friends and isn't really into swinging. Then I stand by my first statement. He wasn't into her and vetoed it. You backed him up and have still been able to remain friends, good for you. There's nothing more to do and no explanations needed. No means no, right? If the wife keeps hinting at it and doesn't accept your no then it may be time to rethink the friendship.

I think this is pretty standard. Some of our friends in the LS "must have" dual attraction to the other couple. We well it has happened that my wife has a line of guys waiting to please her and I get the wife which often is there to simply let her husband have a good time. The proverbial wet blanket. A few times I have given in and just "pretended to enjoy it" for the sake of my wife, other times I have simply said "no".
