Dinner before playing

Is it just me, or do others also not enjoy eating a meal before playing? Full belly and having a good play session do not mix. Opinions?

"feed me/fuck me" is Mrs Doc's mantra. However, if sex is in the offing, she prefers a light meal rather than a full 4 course dinner.

A dinner is about getting to know each other and, hopefully, allowing attraction to grow. It's not about feeding everybody.

If possible, sit at a square table with the men opposite each other. This gives the best interaction.

If you don't want to feel bloated after dinner, eat less. Perhaps a salad?

We like to meet people for a vanilla dinner if we have not met them before.

If we invite a couple over to our house, we have drinks and light snacks, then play, then go out to dinner. If it is bitter cold or we feel we have a just f’d look, we’ll make dinner at home.

^^^^^This right here. We like the clubs. If we are going out we'll usually eat a good lunch and maybe have a light snack around 8 or so before leaving for the club. By the time things get busy we're not so hungry we're thinking about food and we're not weighed down by being overly full. Denny's, Whataburger, or Waffle House all have good after hours food. We're lucky enough to have some damn good all night taco trucks in our area.

When possible we usually try to have dinner a couple hours before the party/club. Many times we try to go a step farther and invite one of the other couples that are going to be at the party/club to join us for dinner. Many times these are couples that we might already know from previous parties but this gives a nice opportunity to get to know them better.

Let's fuck then go to dinner maybe go another round later for dessert.

Dinner to meet and get to know a cpl before a play date is set....plus you get time to discuss with your so prior. I personally wouldn't eat a full meal before but that's just me.

All of the above is sage advise; and also, greasy, fatty foods lessen the impact of viagra, so. We tend to eat light before a session. And we won't have dinner with a couple or single we're just meeting - it gets too long if that first reaction is 'oh, my god . . .', we'll just have drinks.

I have to eat but I prefer to do it a few hours before play and not with the other couple. This is just me, but I'm too worried about gas, bad breath, food stuck between my teeth to go eat and play right after with another couple. I need a couple of hours between meal and play for digestion and some flossing.

I also like playing on an empty stomach.

There is nothing wrong with having a light brunch before but over eating makes me feel uncomfortable.

Yep. Food is the last thing on my mind before a meet. I eat as little as possible before sex and really enjoy it that way. In fact I figured out that in that context I can comfortably go on without much food for a lot longer than I would usually do in different circumstances. It feels like an added bonus to be able to have a bit of a diet/detox as well as a good time ;-)

Since I don't really meet couples anymore and usually don't go to clubs, my play is limited mostly to house parties or hooking up at meet n' greet after-parties. I usually just eat a decent sized salad at home before going out, especially if I'm in the mood for anal. There is nothing worse than stuffing yourself full of protein, then doing anal.

Was it Sam Malone who once defined foreplay as sitting through dinner.....

We don't like that crappy headachy hungry feeling, but we don't like being stuffed either. So, like others have said, we just try to eat early enough to let everything be well settled before any potential playtime, and we don't eat anything heavy or spicy or stinky.

I generally try not to eat before playing, simply makes me too tired.

Maybe a very light snack but I'd avoid big meals.

We tend to have a meal a few hours earlier, just the two of us. Realistically, a “evening of swinging” is going to involve a few hours at least, good to have taken care of dining before hand.

We had a couple over recently and ordered pizza at our house. The male half asked me for garlic powder, then proceeded to eat an entire pizza himself.

Not a real turn on for the Mrs.

Erik, I have to ask did you play? If everybody ate a little garlic and brushed their teeth maybe...but a whole pizza and my tummy is turning and I'm laughing thinking about the gas. Did his wife even play with him? Almost seems passive-aggressive to me or a bad comedy.

I love to get to know people over dinner and go play from there if the chemistry works, but too much food makes people bloated and uncomfortable and can put a damper on the evening. So a light meal and a few drinks are my preference.
