Playboy's Triple Play

what's your take on the TV series Triple Play?

Are the couples real ones? How about the third person: is she/he an escort?

And.. do you like it?

Just like Four Play, both seem to be...less than real. Knowing someone who has been on a 'reality' show, it was explained that IF it could have happened or happened at some point in the past, it's okay to 'reenact' the event since is WAS real (or could have been). We tried to watch both shows and they just don't feel legit to us. Heck, while we did watch the first couple of seasons of Swing we ended up loosing interest. If only there was a GOOD show about sex on TV...

I agree, it all sounds too good,glossy and slick.

They mostly looks like actors with a loose script where to improvise.

I lost interest as well, and I didn't even considered looking further into other Playboy TV series... with the exception of Toyride, because I like Nikki and Daniel as a coup

I don't understand why it is so difficult to produce a good show about sex, the mainstream templates are so obvious. You send four couples to an exotic location to work on something in their sexual relationship than has been ailing them. With the help of the other couples and the therapists/counselors at the location they improve communication and expand their sexual boundaries to a degree and at a pace the couple is comfortable with. Sexual Fantasy Island, you'd use most of the money licensing Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing" for the theme. If anyone from Playboy Channel is reading you can PM me for where to send my check.
