What Is the Best Episode of Playboy Swing?

Recommended Posts

We want to take a look at Playboy's Swing and can order shows on demand on Direct TV. Wondering what is everyone's favorite episode?

Well, we have only watched season 1 and 2 so far but regarding action we liked episode 5 of season 2, Nikki and Daniel from Dallas. We found them both hot to look at, although Nikki was a bit too pushy and Daniel was or acted shy.

What ever you do, don't choose season 1, episode 4 (Mark and (another) Nikki) unless you want to see full unreasonable drama with lots of yelling. We could not finish watching that wreck.

Same here, we've only watched all of season 1 and 2 (although we have 3 and 4 recorded). Most of seasons 1 and 2 are not that memorable (except S1E4s trainwreck). We'll add this to our playlist and get back ASAP...

Does anyone know when season 6 comes out, or is it coming out/already came out? Lol! My wife and I love watching that show together and I am trying to download it. We have the 1st 5 seasons.

We liked the episode in which Nikki and Daniel had their first experience. We also like any episode in which Kimberly and Michael are featured (I have the hots for Kimberly, I admit it!).

I am also really curious to know if Swing is done, or if there will be another season. I would definitely mist e show if it were cancelled. We credit Swing with getting us into the lifestyle, after all!

Nikki and Daniel, if you're here, what were your favorite episodes?

We met Dr Jessica O'Reilly at a swing function in Vegas a couple of weeks ago and talked with her about the Swing series. We asked her if there was a new series coming out and she said not at this time. They (Playboy) might bring it back but at this moment, there is not any production taking place.

It was awesome to meet her and actually get to spend a little time talking with her. She is as beautiful as she is on the series and very knowledgeable in what she does. She did a great presentation on various oral techniques for both men and women and then followed it up the next day with a "hands on" session. Never saw so many naked people in one room doing oral but it was awesome!

I also wanted to put in a recommendation for Season 4, Episode 6- Chloe and Jason. Chloe's play in the red room is one of the sexiest scenes of the whole series, and the look on her face right after she reaches orgasm is the hottest five seconds ever on television!

BTW, we had the pleasure of meeting Michael and Holly Pockets last month at Naughty in N'awlins. They told us that the producers are not making another season at this time. Didn't sound like the door was closed for good, but they said that he show is very expensive to produce, and that there are no plans at this time to produce more episodes. So this seems to match up with what lnw is hearing from Dr. Jess.

Just saw a notice on Kasidie that Playboy is gearing up again and looking for new couples to submit an application to appear on a new series. Looks like they are doing an international location this time as it is required you have a passport. They are specifically looking for younger (less then 45 yrs old) committed couples that are "thinking" about swinging.

So it appears we need to stay tuned...

We nominate Couple in Md79 to go on the show! I say this in all good will and generosity! I know they like the show and they would be great on it!

LOL, you're too kind! It sounds like it would be a lot of fun, but regrettably we don't meet the age requirement.

I was happy to see the announcement on Kasidie, but a bit wistful to know that they've officially but the last nail in the coffin on "Swing".

So the show is legit then? I saw a couple of episodes online. Since its a reality show, I've been skeptical that it isn't completely staged with all paid actors. Its a fun show, but I generally assumed it was probably scripted. I actually even assume that Dr Jessica O'Reilly was likely just some model to look pretty but probably wasn't a real person (by that I mean, not a real doctor, and probably not her real name).

Having a family member that was on a reality TV show (not this one), the quote I remember them saying is that 'if it COULD have happened, or did happen at some time, then it's okay to reproduce: if it could have happened, then it's reality', however, I do believe that some reality TV is more real than others. Swing seems rather 'real'. I do know that in the past they have recruited people from the swinger world to participate (as they are doing now). There have been some successes, but there have been some trainwrecks (and everything in between) which also seems to lead us to believe "Swing" is much more real than scripted (although there is a format to the show and some things are planned to get the party started, but the outcome is up to the individual couples).

We have a couple on the board that were on the show...a quick search should find the thread and you can ask them directly.

Actually, there are at least TWO couples from the show who are members here- Michael and Holli, and Nikki and Daniel!

Fisrt - yes, Dr Jessica O'Reilly is real and she has her Phd. While she looks like a model, she is very real and knows her stuff. We spent about 15 minutes talking with her prior to her session on oral techniques. We talked about some of the episodes of Swing and she did mention that there were some couples that seem to have second thoughts. Not sure if those are screened out and not shown but none the less, interesting to watch.

Awesome. Good to know. Since so many reality shows have been revealed to have been scripted I had my doubts, but it seems enough people can verify them, so I'm actually really glad to know that its all legit. I'll have to watch some of those episodes again with fresh eyes now.

I would not be surprised if they looked for couples who said they would be up for engaging in swinging! In fact, I think that some of the couples had actually had some limited experience with non-monogamy before coming on the show.

As lnw mentioned, there have been episodes where the newbie couple have not engaged in play with a lot of enthusiasm, or have pulled back a little. And there was one episode that ended up in a train wreck, as GoldCoCouple mentioned, with the guy actually bolting from the house in the middle of the night. I recall that kind of thing only once, which told me that the show's producers were not looking to make a Big Brother style reality show- something I heartily appreciated!

I just discovered this show on xvideos and I'm obsessed with it! It really got me thinking about going back into the Swinging lifestyle again. There's a couple of things that annoy me, but other than that, I love it!

Haha we watched episode 4 last night and wow we felt so sorry for the guy , he was only rubbing a leg and his world imploded , but hey she got what she needed so it was all OK? She was so selfish lol.

We have only just discovered this series even existed and we both really love the show, we're only just getting into swinging (just 1 social so far) and it's really great that you get to see situations we may not have thought about before and we talk as a couple about how we would deal with it . And the red room scenes always get us really horny

It seems like this show is no longer on the air, making new episodes....do you guys know if that is right? If it is, do you know of other shows similar to this? My wife and I really enjoy watching these and it gets us horny and also opens up discussions between me and her regarding the lifestyle!

Also, on a separate topic, we really love that porn "A real swingers party in San Francisco"...do any of you guys know of other porns similar to that one? We really like that one a lot because the theme of it is a "newbee" couple getting into the lifestyle.

There isn't a new series being filmed as yet but they may be possibly tweaking the format, or have plans to revamp it.

Did you watch all the series? I think there were 5 all together and a spinoff show called late night swing or something like that, maybe somebody else could help more?

Yes, we have watched all 5 seasons and really enjoyed it! We also liked the show Satisfaction, even though some of the premises of that show were hard to believe...it was pretty sexy and we really enjoyed the direction the show was taking. We were in the minority apparently because they cancelled that show! Lol

my wife and I both loved that show. We both agreed it would be fun to go on there but we really don't fit the Target demographic. We're more Shrek and Fiona and not so much Barbie and Ken.

We may be the odd balls on this one, but we liked season 5 episode 6. While we also liked season 4 episode 6 for the enjoyable visual effects, what we liked about season 5 episode 6 is that the newbie couple seemed more real from a physical aspect, as did at least on of the other couples that were residents at the house. Also liked that it showed what probably happens in real situations when you are new (i.e. performance anxiety) and a good way to handle it. We actually picked this one out of the ones that came up in a search because of the physical attributes of the couple in the link image.

We would all probably like to be hard bodies, or at least HWP (hung like horse, perky breasts, etc. ,etc.) but that is not always reality, and this episode was good in showing that.

Like some of the others here, I've questioned whether the show is real. It seems to be too actor-ish, and like most things Playboy none of the people look like anybody I've ever seen other than on the box cover of an adult video! LOL

We have watched them all and i don't know,

Like every thing these days it just seems to stereotypical really, i mean sure there maybe a small groups of swingers that are all tight bodied bombshells and there guys all have larger cocks with GF's that have perfect every thing, but geez we may see one of those couples maybe two in 50, all the others are just normal.

Sadly most non swingers that we have talked to, think just what the show is is what swinging is, i think it takes away from us. The non swingers that i have taped the show for ( guy friends ) all love looking at the chicks but cring when they here stuff like " has a gigantic cock - his cock is amazing " from the girls all the time.

how the hell are we every going to enplane that it's not all like that and not every one is going to give there chick better sex with a huge cock?

For non swingers that ( and some swingers ) that buy into this - well it just make us sad.

The games they play to get things going are pretty cool though and we think that is about all it's good for.

This thread got me started watching it. I'm at season 1 ep.3. I agree that more realistic bodies are more enjoyable. I take perfect bodies for granted and I'm somewhat desensitized to them, whereas the more regular people have variations and keep you from getting stuck on one thing. Great show!

"I told him, "We're all gay. It's just to what extent are you gay." He says, "That's bullshit, man, I ain't gay at all!" I'm like, "Yeah, you are and I'll prove it." He goes, "Fine, prove it." I'm like, "All right, do you like porn?" He says, "Yeah, I love porn, you know that." I'm, "Oh, o you only watch two women together?" He goes, "No, I'll watch a man and a woman making love." I said, "Oh, do you like the guy to have a tiny, half-flaccid penis?" He said, "No, I like big, hard, throbbing co- (stunned pause, applause) ...I did not know that about myself." - Ron White

They do have more normal looking couples take part every now and then, and yeah I enjoy those episodes a lot more, I love wobbly bits and cannot lie

Yes, the residents of the homes tend to have decent physiques, but only a few of the guys seem to be really built (i.e. bulging biceps, etc.), and the lady residents, while mostly being slender, are not all plastic and silicone. But realistically, who would watch a show where everyone was just mediocre or less?

Since while we are basically inexperienced in the lifestyle, our experience tells us that it is difficult enough to have 4 people all click (i.e. two couples), let along a group of 4-5 couples, so yeah, we don't think that is the reality of the swinging world.

But we do like it when they have realistic looking couples (i.e. wobbly bits) as part of the show. We do notice that they tend to put mostly the best camera angles into the final product though.

I found Swing to be as real as any other reality show. Playboy also has a show named Triple Play, where couples find a third for their first threesome. It comes across as being far more scripted.

Hey every! Daniel here of Nikki & Daniel from Swing. (let me know if you need some kind of verification.)

(For those who haven't made it all the way through, we appeared on a total of 11 episodes, newbie +10 more, and had an amazing experience throughout. We met some truly incredible people and learned far more than we ever could have imagined.)

First, let me start by thanking everyone that had positive thoughts and experiences with the show. Even after everything we've done it's still a bit surreal when we hear other people talk about it. There were definitely highs and lows with every experience so I'll see what I can do to give you guys insight on what we went through pre-production.

47 minute episodes start as 48 hours worth of footage. For every sex scene you see, there are at least 3 cameras going to capture the fun. That being said, ALL of the angles that Playboy publishes are going to be the best angles because they want a sexy show. Everybody has a sexy side (and a less than sexy side), regardless of their Shrek & Fiona or Ken & Barbie body types. Capturing sexy angles is 100% the intent of the sexy scenes. Early seasons were trying to pull anyone who was interested in because everyone was apprehensive about the sexy angles thing. As the show developed a bigger pool of former cast, the body types were less important and the personalities received greater attention. It still needed to be sexy, but there's a story that has to shine through the collision of bodies as well.

Swing itself is part of the "TV for 2" lineup of programming. The intent of that programming is to get couples to watch together, regardless of whether or not they are interested in swinging. The days of meaningless genital mashing together are disappearing in favor of context, meaning, realism, and the ability of the viewers to relate to the show. Yes, it is a reality show, but it is not intended to showcase drama like prime time/mainstream channels have trained us to expect. If drama happens, EVERYONE hopes there's some kind of peaceful, loving resolution because it's NOT sexy when real emotions cock block everyone. haha

Here's where it gets dicey because there have been a lot of accusations in the past that we're a bunch of porn stars acting for the show. I can confirm that there were people on the show that had done some porn, but they were not hired to be porn stars. 99% if the couples that appeared on the show had no previous experience in porn or on a show exposing themselves like that. All of the relationships are real, not actors. A few have, unfortunately, moved on/separated/divorced. A lot of us are still living semi-boring, day-to-day lives that aren't really affected by our appearance on the show.

As far as future episodes... Swing has ended. I know the show creators and executives want to do something swinging related in the future, but there are lots of behind the scenes uncertainties that doesn't allow them to do much production.

However, Nikki & I managed to get a new show, titled Toyride. We will have some friends join us, and we'll end up talking about the swinging lifestyle stuff and Swing show quite a bit. So be on the lookout for that.

Holy crap, I've gone on this long winded diatribe for no reason. haha. To answer the question: I think my favorite episode would have to be either Al & Sparkle's newbie episode or our own newbie episode.

My wife and I have been looking for more context in porn for ages. We both require mental stimulation as well so traditionally porn has not done much for us. Has anyone seen "Lie With Me" (2005)? We want to see more like that, any suggestions appreciated! We're also interested in MFM threesome porn but again, with some context. Disappointing that Playboy's Triple Play seems scripted, we hadn't watched any of that yet although I doubt there is much MFM anyway on the series.

Hey, Nikki and Daniel! Good to see you guys posting in this thread! And I was glad when I saw the commercial for your new show. It looks like it's a fun adventure for you two, and your personalities are great for a show like that. And I think I spied a little footage of some of your old friends from Swing- Al and Sparkle maybe?

Good luck with the new show, and of course you both are welcome to weigh in here any time!

I appreciate DirtyLoveGames response confirming some of our suspicions that this isn't exactly a documentary LOL...I've watched the Triple Play series too, and some of the same people seem to be on it, so yeah...paid to do have sex on camera, pretty much puts you in the "porn star" category and not just your average lifestyler. Obviously Playboy is going to play to the more prurient interests for $$$$ like they always have, it's too bad that a web series doesn't exist that shows a more realistic view of the lifestyle. Like a Hi Def version of Swingersboard, with less reading required...LOL

BobGann,

I think you misunderstood my post. Totally understand if you did, it was extremely wordy.

Swing does try REALLY HARD to portray a realistic view of the lifestyle without reinforcing the negative stereotypes. I've talked to the show creator, numerous producers, and everyone else on the show and the only thing we all agree on is the fact that we are trying to combine two approaches of the lifestyle into one, 48 hour period. I'll break those two approaches down:

First, the show does aim to portray a "wild & crazy" side by, literally, meeting a couple and hooking up with them in the same day. That culture is, kind of, where swinging originated. From the dirty depths of a neighbors hot tub, people making naughty decisions in the heat of the moment. But even in today's hook-up culture, that's no longer the main focal point of open-lifestyes.

The second aspect is the progressive swinging we find more prevalent today. The emphasis on friendship first and connected-ness leading to bonds that are enhanced by sex rather than sex being meaningless. The behind the scenes of the show would clue everyone in to the fact that there's a lot of "feeling people out" before the red-room happens. The downside of there being such a clear format means the viewers don't really get to see all of the stuff that "we" would find normal and natural about getting to know other swingers.

I think we may have different views of porn stars. In our experience with the term, porn stars make their primary income from the porn industry for several years before they cash out and try their hand at normal-ish life. Almost every single person that came on Swing had some form of day job that they legitimately worried about getting fired from. Just because we received appearance fees for a show we have sex on doesn't mean we were interested in making it a full-time career choice. That's just my .02 on that though.

Thanks for the clarification, DirtyLoveGames...I think we do diverge on what a realistic view of the lifestyle is. In the folks I've been around there has been a pretty good cross section of ages, shapes, and backgrounds. Which is what I find appealing about things - normal, everyday people enjoying themselves sexually. Honestly, if my first introduction to the lifestyle was watching Swing I'd never even consider getting involved, thinking I'd have to look like the people do in the show.

I realize that six-pack abs and toned, enhanced bodies sell better than what actual people look like, and this is after all, about entertainment. But I think there's another stereotype being enforced in a more subtle manner, that unless you look like you stepped off the cover of an adult DVD box cover, it's not for you. I also wonder about how anyone who has a day job could show up for every episode of the show. Again, I've noticed the same people in multiple episodes, which I doubt were filmed during somebody's two week vacation from their job. Which led me to the opinion that Swing WAS their day job.

Glad you had a positive experience with the show and are willing to share your experience here.

I think that BECAUSE Swing did try REALLY HARD to portray a realistic view of the L/S it has brought so many people either here (to the board) or to even consider trying swinging proves that it isn't a scripted show and has in fact done a great deal to promote swinging in a very positive light. We owe the show and the participants a huge thanks! No matter how you started on the trip, you still had to start somewhere. This show provided the starting point for many couples to even consider the idea. We want to also thank DirtyLoveGames for coming here and helping out. I really don't have a point here other than wanting to just acknowledge the good the show has done for all of us in the L/S, no matter how you pursue it...

Yeah the show has been a big help to us getting started, it dangled a carrot by showing us how good things can be, and it also showed us scenarios we maybe hadn't thought about being in and got us talking about how we would react in certain situations

Well, can't argue with success! If it has helped others take the leap, so to speak, that's great. Playboy always has done a high-quality job of portraying the erotic. I guess as an old duffer I just can't picture myself in the Red Room, or whatever it's called LOL
