Visible scars - are they a turn off?

Recommended Posts

So you all have heard me mention my surgery. I had major surgery on 2/14 that left me with a long incision and 27 staples . Complications arose and on 2/27 I had to have a second surgery leaving me with a longer incision and 37 staples.

My regular playmates knew what was going on. When I had to take a break , I was honest about why.

Now I've been invited to a get together in May for Cinco de mayo and I am excited because by then I will be able to play. For at least the next 6 weeks I can't.

I was looking in the mirror and I now have a huge scar nearly the entire length of my abdominal area. It is so ugly. I am nervous about it being seen.

So my question is....would this be a turn-off to you guys?

I have 2 different female playmates with large surgery scars. They are both beautiful ladies with fun attitudes. I find them both sexy and attractive. The scar is not what what defines them. We all have things break or go wrong on our bodies as we age. It is normal to have a few battle wounds.

So to answer your question, no I would not be turned off by you having a scar.:)

 You know the answer....anyone who is turned off by it, is NOT someone you want to play with anyways.

The rest of the fun people will have no trouble with it cuz it's just a scar.

I am not a man but I did had major plastic surgery which left me with big scar. It fades away after a while.:EG: and you can barely see it now...

You can get mederma ointment in local pharmacy and apply it religiously for good 3 months it will keep moisture in and promote healing. Vit E is one of the good ones too.

There are silicone sheets specifically designed for scars. Studies shows if they are properly used they reduce scars by up to 80%.

After a year you will barely notice it.

For now I would use a corset. You don't have to be naked during play. When we used to play in a clubs lots of women were wearing corsets.

I remember I was very anxious first time when I had to play with my BF and I had that area covered. I didn't want to distract him with it. After a while when it started looking better I opened it up and he didn't pass out.:D

You are saying you have regular playmates. I am sure they like you the way you are anyway. Just put something on and enjoy yourself. :D

My BF broke his leg recently and has a big scar on his knee. I still like playing with him anyway I just have to work double because we are very limited in positions since he can't put weight on his leg but it's a totally different story.

I have a scar from the very top of my chest to just above my penis, interrupted in the middle by my belly button. Heart surgery and prostatectomy.

Some are able to cover scars with tattooing.

I don't think scars are a turnoff at all. Especially obviously surgical ones. A woman I messed around with a bit last time I was at the club had a scar from open heart surgery and it was just part of her... neither good nor bad.

No. Scars are the signature of a life lived.

There is a reason models are so highly paid. The perfection that advertisers wish to portray is exceedingly rare, and even those models benefit from air brushing, Photoshop and lack of mileage youth provides.

I just had half of my colon removed and then we had to reopen the incision due to internal complications and now it is longer and thicker. Right now it is the ugliest I've ever seen. I suppose because it is still fresh and healing. Im just afraid if someone sees it they too will feel like I do.

I know it will fade in time. This is just the biggest one I have and its hard for me to adjust I guess.

Once you get back to meeting people and finding that most dont' care about it, you will breathe a sigh of relief.

Hey, you LIVED....keep enjoying LIFE! That's kinda what scars say to me.

One club we went to, a lady had a mastectomy-one nice breast and one missing. She said she traded it to stay alive longer. Everyone understood.

Being a nudist, I have seen many women with all sorts of scars. I never found the scars to detract from how attractive I find them.

The only type of scar I do find to be a turnoff is a woman with cigarette burn scars all down their arm.

I also have a huge scar up my belly. (Had half of my colon removed too) Hey, I wear this scar proudly! I had to have this surgery to save my life. I had to have another surgery for more cancer, and they used the same incision as before.

Wear it proud, sister! You've survived... and BTW... I get asked about my scar, but nobody has ever turned down sex because of it.

This scar will be worn proudly. As you know, This is a tough surgery to heal from.

I think I could handle it better if it wasn't so fresh. I haven't even had the staples out a week yet.

I lot at it and say omg I survived and I didn't have a colostomy bag!

I hope you are cancer free.!

I have a 3 in scar just above my belly button and to the left as you look at it. I just tell people I was stabbed saving my wife from a mugger. When they say 'really!?' I laugh and say, not really, I had my stomach valve operated when I was six days old.

It's never been an issue. Mrs. Diggs has a scar from two C sections. I don't think it's had any affect on our playmates. Scars are a part of life. Your scar certainly wouldn't bother us.

Yep to all above.. I have had 3 intestinal resections, so I have a scar about 14" long across my abdomen.. I spent 15 years as a SCUBA instructor, in the States, the Caribbean, and Australia. Lots of shark photos, and so I just let folks believe it was a remnant of a "confrontation" during a u/w photo session.. LOL

I have two c-section scars and I am proud as hell of them. I have them because I have brought two amazing people into this world. Two amazing people that wouldn't be here unless they were extracted out of me. Totally worth it. My husband loves my scars, too. And if people are turned off by m scars then fuck 'em. Or litterally, not. Not worth my time.

To me scars are a visible sign of a life lived. Be it doctor, accident, or self inflicted. They tell a story of a person's victories and short comings. They add personality to a person so to me they are sexy.

I notice some scars... but in most cases not when we first meet. Usually I'm totally distracted from the scar by the naked person in front of me. I think it would take a pretty big scar to cause me to pause from thouroghly enjoying a person who wants to get naked in front of me. Usually its only after we have played for a while and I am taking some time to slowly touch and really get to know the person that I even see the scars. Its just a sign that they are just as real as I and have a life story beyond what we are doing that night. In anycase, sometimes depending on where they are I am quite attracted and want to touch even more.

Scars are the trophies of life. Scars represent battles won and progress made - nothing to be ashamed of or feared of turn off.

Male and female predators are unsavory to us. Single or not, get to know us both or it's a no go.

We received a PM today from a single guy. There were a couple of reasons why we weren't compatible, but the biggest reason was probably a little weird.

He stated that he worked at the local video store. Normally, where a guy works isn't the first thing he puts in his PM, but in this case, he did - and to be honest, we rent there all the time...

We'd hate to think that renting would be awkward if we hooked up - or worse, if we didn't. I mean - are we going to suddenly stop getting coupons in the mail? Are the "rent two - get one free" deals going to suddenly cease? Will we ALWAYS get the DVD that has been dog chewed and left in the heat?

Swinging is fun, but the idea of ruining my peace of mind while renting a flick just isn't appealing.

So - what are the weirdest reasons you've ever said "no"?

Granted, any reason is a good reason. After all "no means no" regardless of why you say it. But how many "left field" no's do we have floating around out there?

i may be considered a snob but I like to see and lick a pussy that doesn't have too much hanging labia (gets in the way). I like a bigger clit, one you can suck on, mmmmm. I had an experience with another lady once that when she was aroused, her clit swelled to the point it looked like a very small cock, we rubbed pussies together and I could actually feel some penetration, it was very nice to suck.

Cocks, I need them circumsized, sorry. size doesn't matter but once in awhile I love to run into a huge one.

Don't get me wrong, I have had different shapes and sizes, cut and uncut, I am just saying what my preference is.

Cleanliness, there have been a few people who haven't been clean and it was not nice and I left them standing.

      What about you all?

My wife, our lover and I have rarely had anal sex, and never have it anymore. It's just not appealing to any of us. I am fond of saying, why fuck an asshole when you've got an orifice custom-made for fucking three inches away? From reading this forum, I think we must be the only three people in the world that don't enjoy anal?

Every once in a while I read through a thread or hear about certain things that people enjoy sexually and I can't help but think "ICK!". I definitely understand that everyone has different tastes and turn ons, so that's not the thing, it's just that it's something I can never imagine myself doing and to be honest the idea of it kinda grosses me out.

So, I figured if there are things that make me go "ICK!" then there are things like that for others. So what kind of things make you "ICK!"... not a judgmental thing or saying that they are wrong for doing it, but it just grosses you out and you know you wouldn't want to try it.

For me the one I see most often that does it is ... well make that two.....

      Bukkake and Snowballing... ICK!

      So what's your Ick!?
