My wife and I just booked our first Bliss Cruise for April 2019. We are extremely excited for this cruise as this will be our first time ever doing anything like this. We’re going on 8 years of marriage and really like the idea of trying new things, just very nervous about trying new things. We’re super strong in our marriage and are looking forward to going to meet and greets to ease into the “swing” of things. Lol.

At the end of the day, this will be an awesome cruise away from the kids and a great chance to relax.

We’ve been on two Bliss cruises. They are fun. Have you two “swung” before?

We are also going on this cruise. I have cruised 5 times before a long time ago and all vanilla. This will be our first LS cruise. After being in the LS for 2 years it seems like a good idea.

We've been on 8 lifestyle cruises and have 3 more booked. First one was an eye opener and you can bet we were as nervous as you are now. But in reality, it is a no pressure environment (as long as everyone is respectful and I would say 99% are). Best things we can recommend in case you haven not thought about it or read othewise:

1. Set and respect each other's boundaries prior to the cruise. The less rules, the better but you both need to be on the same page on those. Communicate those rules when it seem like when talking to another couple that things will progress to the next level.

2. Go with no expectations other than to have one hell of a sexy time with each other. Don't force things to happen; those never turn out well. Let things happen organically.

3. Go to the many meet and greets hosted about 5PM each each on sea days. They will be posted in a daily flyer you receive each night in your cabin for the following day.

4. If you think you might have sex or some sort (soft or full) with others, pack protection. The ship will have some but selection is not great and, at times, they run out.

5. Circulate and talk to people. Introverts need to move outside their comfort zone or they will generally be overlooked. Introduce yourselves, let others know you are new, first time cruisers, ask for their tips and tricks... gets things going.

6. Pools will be clothing optional but most will be nude. Pools are NOT clothing optional when the ship is in port.

7. The only sex that takes place is either in the playroom with some 50+ beds or in your cabin. Sex anywhere else is prohibited. So you will not see sex orgies unless you go to the playroom or host one in your cabin!

8. It is ok to say "no" when asked to be touched or anything else. People in the LS generally know to ask for permission before doing anything but not everyone will abide by that. So feel free to say no when you are not comfortable with what is going on.

9. Make up contact cards (think like business cards) with a picture of you, first names, profiles names and sites, and email you use for this fun. Some print their cabin number on the cards. We write it on the back so we can use the cards on future cruises.

Tons of other info but this should give you a start. We had little prior info for our first LS cruise. Now we are regulars and love it.

Go and ENJOY!!

Great tips by lnw!Just want to add three small suggestions. If they have speed dating or massage classes (sign up early), attend. Great way to meet people.

When you eat dinner, sit with other people at random. Even if those people at the table are not a life style match, they may lead you to meet others.

Most of the Bliss cruises gave us a free white board to put on our cabin door. It helps if someone drops by your room and you are out. Our last Alaska LS Cruise did not provide one, wish we brought a small one.

Hang loose, don’t force anything and remember to have fun with your spouse!

See you onboard. This April Bliss cruise will be my 13th LS cruise. November will mark number 14. February will make #15. As you can tell, it can be habit forming. :-)

One of my friends was mentioning that his wife got invited for a vacation with one of their regular playmates. It would be a 4 day vacation, where only the wife goes with the BF, hubby stays back.

Has anyone any experience of this scenario, they are swinger and cuckold couple.

Hello everybody.  Married MW couple for 18 years today.  We have been out of the LS for 5 years but prior to that we where in the life style for about 10 years and had a great time.  We are in our mid forties and going on the bliss cruise in November.  This will be our first swinger cruise.

The question is, How is mm bisexual play seen in the LS community on this Cruise?

In our past experience it was always accepted FF bi play but MM was pretty frowned upon.  My husband and I have had a couple MMF in the past and had a great time.  We are hopping to find that again.  There is something  that I just love watching him get it from another guy and sharing the other guy orally together.

Any and all comments greatly appreciated and recommendations encouraged.

Ok, I'm going to sound like a newby, but that's because I am lol. The wife and I are going on our first cruise in a few days. It's not a "swingers cruise", but I've heard that there are usually tons of swingers on any cruise. My question is, how do we spot them? I know about the pineapple thing, but i also assume that pineapples are a  pretty common thing on a Carribean cruise. We are 3 years deep in the lifestyle but, so far, we only swing with one other couple, so we have zero experience in approaching potential playmates. We are not going on the cruise to actively seek out new playmates, but would like to be ready if the opportunity arises. My questions are:

      1. Is there a way to spot swingers and, if so, how?
      2. Once we have determined that a couple are swingers, how do we start the conversation?
      3. Is there a way that we can make ourselves visible to other couples that might be in the same boat as us?
