My wife and I are in our late 20s and are very inexperienced in this lifestyle but are curious. My wife has messed around with others but I have not as she isn't sure if she is comfortable with it. We were considering going on a cruise, after googling it we saw one called the Bliss cruise that we were interested in. But reading about cruises both in general and swinger cruises specifically we are a bit nervous that there will be very few couples in our age range and if there are any they will be very few and far between much older couples.

I saw something called young couples week at the Hedonism resort in Jamaica but I don't think we will be able make it in July (looks like the only week it takes place).

Any advice for vacations for younger couples looking to dip their toes into this? Perhaps my fears on the cruise are unwarranted or perhaps there is another cruise/resort that is somewhat more geared toward younger couples or at least has a lot of them.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I know Toronto has several swing clubs. I don't know if that is near you or not, but it might be worth a weekend away.

We like Desire a lot. They might have groups that are younger people. There is a variety of ages when we go with the Life on the Swingset group in Nov. You could check with Char Travel. They arrange a lot of group trips to Desire and Hedo and can tell you when younger people go.

Desire RM is a good start. Desire Pearl has an older crowd. We like the Bliss cruise. We didn't notice it was an older crowd, but we're older. Do ask if a group is going and consider joining the group and communicating with group members before the trip. But you can go, just watch talk and learn and think if swinging is for you before you jump in.

We haven’t done the Bliss cruise, did a nude cruise and didn’t like it. You can’t beat Desires for class, good service and facilities. But it is all couples. That doesn’t mean that it is only couples play, there is MFM and FFF and orgies if you want to find them. Hedo is far more men than women, can be lots of fun but not as nice as Desires, but more of a party atmosphere.

What about Desire Los Cabos (I think it might be called Temptation now)? I have read that is a younger crowd.

I guess I was hoping that wherever we went we could find one where say 20%+ were +/- 5 to 7 years from us (29). Not sure if a place like that exists. Obviously younger people tend to not really have the money to afford nice resorts/cruises in masses. Reading a couple things online it sounds like there really aren't many if any couples under 45 at Desire RM, is that way off base?

For anyone that has been on the Bliss cruise or others like it... are there many couples from 25-35? I have only been on one cruise in my adult life (not a swinger cruise) and that was an 11 day cruise to Hawaii in May (obviously not prime time for young couples) and there was maybe 3 couples within 10 years of us out of a few thousand people. We are hoping to avoid that and not feel quite so out of place. We met very nice people on that cruise but it always resembled more father/mother type figures.

If finding groups is the way to go, where would be the best place to start? I will look into Char travel but are there any lists of groups going on certain trips that we could join up with?

The list of attendees for the March Bliss cruise is on SLS. You can scan that list to see if there are people your age there.

We saw you had some questions about Young Swingers® Week at Hedonism.

The events are March, July and October, and are for all levels of the lifestyle.

We have two colors of necklaces Green and Red.

Red means Full Swap Situational with the right people, time and place.

Green means Soft Swap, Nudists, Girl Girl and Newbie.

The attendees are split about 50/50 on green verse red.

Therefore, you can hang with 50% of the people who are at or near your level.

Plus, that makes it so the Reds have plenty of other Reds so they don't need to pressure Greens.

It is really like MTV spring break on steroids with everyone partying naked at the pool and beach. The theme nights are amazing, because we have around 90% participation even with the men.

Here you can see nude interviews with our attendees. Many of which were new at it.

http://www.youngswingersweek.com/naked-news.html

You can see our age graph which is pretty average with the age ratios for all of our events in Jamaica.

http://www.youngswingersweek.com/age-graph.html

In addition, we have Holli and Michael from Playboy Swing Radio, putting on three seminars for beginners during the event.

Let us know right away if you have any questions at all.

Thanks!

Cabo Desire / Temptations no longer exists. Was sold and revamped to a family resort. Desire properties are the best. Would suggest that to a Bliss cruise because you can book a few days at the resort. A cruise is a full week commitment. Have been on a number of LS cruises including Bliss. Some younger couples but by far the mix is 40to50's.

We are booked for Desire Riviera in May. This will be our first trip to a C/O resort and we're very excited. We're actually meeting some friends that we met on another vacation last year. We're not LS but we are very curious and excited to see how things go for us while we're there. Being open minded, if we can play with other couples in a comfortable, well managed environment we probably will take the opportunity. With that being said, we chose DRM because it was the highest reviewed property we could find. Being new, the ability to relax and enjoy ourselves in new ways without overt expectation is extremely important for us. we are members of a yahoo group for visitors during our month of visit and the crowd age ranges from 40 to 50. I'm not sure if there are properties that cater to younger crowds since most couples reach this milestone after years of monogamy but as I said, we don't have the experience that others here may have either. Have fun and enjoy yourselves!

We were on the last Bliss Cruise. If you are thinking about a Bliss Cruise, there are passengers from their 20's to their 80's (really). That said, we saw lots of people in their 20's-30's. Remember there are close to 3,000 people on the ship. If you do some research, I think you will find travel agencies that have been set up by younger people and cater to clients your age. By that I mean they will go out of their way to introduce you to people your age who will be or are on the cruise. Every travel agency had daily meet and greets on the ship. Every travel agency wants you to be happy, hopefully over the moon. Our travel agency is owned by people we have known for 15 years. They wanted us to have a blast.

I saw banners by the pool for an agency that looked like it really was working hard to appeal to people your age. I believe the agency was Luxury Lifestyle Vacations. Despite the name, the cost of a stateroom should be identical whether you use them, or book on the Bliss Website. The difference should be in their clientele. Call them and be direct. Who do they cater to? How old are they? Why should you use them? Will they be on the cruise. Will they have reps on the ship that are your age? Can they give you references? Google Bliss Cruise and see what agencies and sponsors show up. Call several and the be up front that you are interviewing them. Get a sense of who you like, who telling the truth and if they are willing to say anything just to get your $$$$. Remember, these people are going to make a bunch of money if you book with them. Make sure they earn it.

One final word...many people who have been swingers a long time are far less interested in age and looks of potential playmates and far more interested in how compatible they are with a couple. Our first experience was with a couple who was a decade older than us, but they made everything perfect. It couldn't have been a better experience. If a couple is a little older than you, is interesting, has had great life experiences and is, most importantly, really fun, it should be a much better dip-your-toes experience than the young beautiful couple who have little to say and are aloof. Just saying.

One of my friends was mentioning that his wife got invited for a vacation with one of their regular playmates. It would be a 4 day vacation, where only the wife goes with the BF, hubby stays back.

Has anyone any experience of this scenario, they are swinger and cuckold couple.

We are 40, and don't date under 30. Why?
Drama insurance. You remember those stupid dramatic fights you had with exes in your 20's?
Also ... the "I'm almost old enough to be your dad and that's kinda creepy" factor.
      Yeah. Best to pass.

      Simple question:

What are the differences between the Desire Riviera Maya PEARL resort and the Desire Riviera Maya Resort?

What do we need to know before choosing?

      THANKS!

I'm single female interested in swinging. I'm struggling to find relationships with single men into swinging. I'm not big on just casual fwbs. I'm 21 so I feel like my whole age group is not as open to swinging.
