  1. First of all, I don't know one female that is completely happy with the way she looks. I have met absolutely beautiful women that can find flaws in themselves. What is most important is personality and spirit! You can be the most beautiful woman on the outside, but as soon as you get to know them, I have seen ugly on the inside come out. The Creator made us all different and if you spend all your time taking care of the outside and none on the inside, you have wasted a lot of time. We all are getting older and when things start sagging and a little wrinkled, maybe a few extra pounds, what is inside blooms into the truly beautiful human being that we can be. Have you ever seen a woman that may not be the most beautiful woman on the outside, but has lots of attention from men? That is because sensuality begins in your head, how you carry yourself, your confidence, not just your body, but your brains, your creativity, your love of life and beauty, your spirit. So let your spirit shine through, that is beauty! Blessings Mrs. PL
  2. wiping my eyes....Hey Spoo...how much are the tickets?? Sounds like a friend of ours in the old days, she too was lesbian and wanted to know what it was like to give a blow job. Hubby being her willing test dummy, while I gave instruction. Sex ed 101
  3. Wow, Spoo, that is too bad because I really liked that club. If that is what is happening, we won't be going there anymore. I won't take a chance of the cops turning the place over. Have you told the owner what is going on? I can't imagine her allowing that! I agree with the paying for dinner at a potluck. That is the wrong environment for strippers, there was one there the last time we were there and it made me uncomfortable. Don't ask me why there is a difference between swingers being naked and strippers taking off their clothes for money, but to me there is. I don't have a problem with strippers, but they don't belong in a swing club. Just my 2 cents worth.
  4. I was reading this thread and started thinking of the age ranges of people that I have met in this lifestyle. I had a guy that was barely 21 contact me, ok that was ewwwwwww. But, generally age doesn't matter a whole lot, it is the physical attraction and personality, which includes maturity. I am 51, hubby is 41, and the crowd that we hang with are in their 30's. I am very active, teach dance and am a drummer, so I stay current with music and style. I pass for being younger. For us, it comes down to compatability. So don't blow off us old folks yet Blessings Mrs PL
  5. Spoo, I am with ya on this one. In fact, if you want me to go away very quickly...be crude. I find that this kind of talk will turn me off in a heartbeat, and I put in down to disrepect, ignorance and signs of a lower intelligent life form. I do not understand men that believe this kind of talk is stimulating to a women. Ok, maybe some women it is, I don't happen to be one of them. If these people are friends of yours, I would pull him aside and let them know how both of you feel about that kind of talk, that it's a major turn off. If they have any respect for you and want to continue to play, then I am sure they will respect your wishes. By the way, when are the races down here?? Blessings Mrs. PL
  6. Yes about 3 times in the last few weeks, I will look up and say, oh crap...look who just walked in lol. One close friend emailed us and said they should were going to out themselves to us, as not to suprise us at the club. They recognized us from our profile, even though the faces were hidden. It's a small town, it was bound to happen. I am hoping that the "your here for the same reason" holds true. Blessings Mrs. PL
  7. I guess we are one of those couples that looks for friendship too. We have been very lucky to find several of those. Some are far away . One of the things that is nice about just hanging out or going shopping together is you don't have to be careful about what you say, or be on guard all the time. All the people that we met at the meet up are just terrific and I could see all of us becoming friends, but we are a little more than a stone throw . We are a very picky couple and getting to know someone is a prerequisite (ok spelling police, don't know if I spelled that right). But, I count all of you in my circle of friends Blessings Mrs. PL
  8. I am 10 years older than Mr. PL. Been married for almost 12 years and we are still on our honeymoon There isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't tell me, many times, how much he loves me, and he is the love of my life. I am one very lucky woman!!! Blessings Mrs. PL
  9. Actually, I am going through menopause. The only problem I have encountered is that instead of my periods stopping, some months it doubles up . I have always had problems freezing, so I quite enjoy the hot flashes . Last winter, it was 17 degrees out and I stepped out for a breath of air. But other than having my own special summers, hehehe, I am not having any other problems. Just wish the damn periods would go away. My sex drive is higher than ever (very good thing), I have a concern of wearing out my hubby Frame of mind has a lot to do with how you go into this, mine is going to be fabulous!!!!! Blessings Mrs. PL
  10. Tybee, I am glad your healing and doing well. Just to give you some of the other side, my sister had one years ago, said it was the best thing she ever did. I have also heard that from other women! Best thing about it hon, no more periods!! Keep a positive frame of mind and you are going to breeze through this! Blessings Mrs PL
  11. I guess I am a little different here. I really don't like being totally naked. If I have a little something on, I am more comfortable. Probably body image issues. I also think that a little something is much sexier than total nudity. Blessings Mrs. PL
  12. The million dollar question. I agree with the person that said, I think it is different for each couple. As for Mr. PL and I, I have said before, respect, trust and communication. I have total respect for my husband, he is truly a brilliant man, he can do anything he sets his mind too. I trust him totally, and we talk all the time. We truly are each others best friend, we do everything together, we just wouldn't have fun if we weren't together. I started bringing coffee to him in bed every morning 13 years ago. I still do, not because he expects it, but because I want to. He is always doing things to surprise me, and always tells me how much he loves me. Always a touch of the hand, a kiss, a wink. We have never had a fight, I know that is hard to believe, but it's true. My marriage candle has never been lit. I believe that when you enter as a soul, that sometimes you split apart. I found my split apart, we think alike and are always saying and thinking the same thing at the same time. I read a long time ago, that the secret to a good marriage is to treat each other like a guest in your house, I think that was good advice. Blessings Mrs. PL
  13. Ok, let me first say, that you can't help him. As with any addiction, the person with the addiction has to make the decision that they want help, and so far it doesn't sound like he wants to change anything about himself. There are 12 step programs for sex addicts, look in your local yellow pages for 12 step programs, if he is interested, you can give him the information. Now, on to you, there are also programs out there for those that live with people that have addictions, again call the phone #'s and ask for help for yourself. Some people really have to lose everything before they make a decision to try to get help. At this time you will be enabling him, if you go along with him, and allow him to make decisions for you that you don't feel are right for you. What you are proposing by going along with swinging, knowing it isn't what you want, isn't swinging. You are being drug into it against your will to hold on to a man. In my case, my husband and I have a fantastic life together, loving, beautiful, and our sex life together is the best I have ever had! Swinging enhances our sex life, it doesn't fix it. Sometimes people go into programs to fix themselves so they can get their SO back, and when they get into the program and start getting mentally healthy, they realize what a messed up relationship they had and they don't want it back. They can then move on to someone that can really love them for what and who they are without the drama, and ultimatiums. I am glad you came by for help, but I truly hope you will get help for yourself first. Please drag out your phone book and look up your local 12 step programs. Blessings Mrs. PL
  14. Absolutely not. First of all, I don't feel it is anyone's business. I have, however, met people that I feel are just fantastic people and would call friends. Wouldn't have a problem telling people I met so and so and just think they are (insert appropriate word) sweet, beautiful, awesome etc.
  15. Nope, no problems, we would stop immediately. We do this together, with full understanding that if either of us is uncomfortable, it stops, no questions asked. Well, just because we communicate everything, we would talk about it. The thing about being in this lifestyle is that it is a magnifier. If the marriage is good it will make it better. If the marriage has problems, it will make it worse. You can't get into this for just one of you, it will eventually destroy you. The marriage has to be sound and solid, before you start. The 3 most important aspects of a good marriage is respect, trust and communication, if any one of those 3 are not present, you may as well walk away, or be content to be miserable for the rest of your life. For me, life is to short to be miserable. I really feel bad for you in this situation, ultimatums are a disaster waiting to happen. It's like putting your broken heart and feelings into a box and nailing the lid down tight (if I just ignore them they will go away), eventually the nails rust and the lid pops open. In the meantime, they have been festering in there and reproduced and grown, by the time the lid pops, the amount of anger will eat you alive. Been there done that, I am speaking from my own experience, from a previous marriage. I hope it works out for you, or that you two work it out. Blessings Mrs. PL
