  1. i completely agree jncc. swinging [sic: cheating and open marriage] is condoned in many traditional societies and always has been. notice i combine the two, as if they are one, because really when you look at some tribal groups, including some that still exist, along with ancient societies that were important enough to leave a written history, infidelity and 'multiple sex partners after mating' go hand in hand, no matter what semantic spin you want the idea to have.
  2. i think the suggestion is that for women to create the proverbial wet spots there have to be some warm fuzzies..lol. this article is suggesting women like those prior to the poke. not suggesting that there's some involved romance, but that the sex, for women, is initiated by an attraction beyond 'gee, we have interlocking parts' or 'gee, we both have tongues' , where for men..lol..sorry guys, but it seems to be that simple. but it's well accepted that all female mammals [sic: species, not individuals] take a conservative approach to procreation out of necessity. nothing any of us say alters scientifically proven biology.
  3. i think jelousy over watching your mate with someone more attractive is the oldest issue in the book. i mean i have no problem watching my husband make the cute little waitress or 45 y.o. bartender feel better about themselves having a beautiful, polite man flirt with them. but as soon as a feel like a woman is my equal or better...i get jelous...the older i get, the less it's an issue, but i certainly still feel it in my craw when i'm intimidated by a woman while my mate is around. that said though, the same woman has my respect when he's not around and in fact underlying the jelousy. i've found that jelousy has alot more to do with me than anyone or anything that's ahppening around me.
  4. absolutely..that's what makes this such a great topic...this is nothing but shades of gray.
  5. I have never been a fan of huge dicks. I mean, I like good size dicks, I don't like small ones. but really large penises make me feel limited with oral and anal, and when they're too long it just hurts my cervix. After my husband gets my pussy wet and swollen from head, whether I'm fucking him or he's using a slightly larger dildo on me, it's the speed of the thrusts, not the thickness that makes me cum from vaginal stimulation.
  6. i am new here, and my husband and i have never swung (well, i never realized the term until this site, but we have engaged in soft-swinging, but no actual sex as a couple with others) anyway, we like webcams and would probably be suspcious of someone that wouldn't show on cam if we were planning to meet anyway. if we were that interested in someone online and they didn't have one or weren't computer savvy, i'd send them a $20 plug'n'go one. this brave new world has basically eliminated having to meet someone you aren't physically attracted to.
  7. It's great that you wanted to cut and paste a lot of relative information, but i think you'll find if you read the other posts in this thread closely, everyone had already said what you posted only in layman's terms. Not sure where you saw that someone equated herpes with hpv...only that they were both viruses and have latent phases.
  8. LOL @ this and your comment earlier in the thread. this is kind of in the vein i was thinking about this; a) who can get one of the bastards back on after it's unrolled b) and who's this houdini slapping one on so quick nobody sees him doing it.
  9. I could not agree more; looks like you got your physiology straight. i think that the idea of women behaving like men sexually is ludicrous. not to say we can't enjoy or never have anonymous sex, but on a regular basis it's not something a women is going to do unless there's an underlying psychological reason [sic] unhappy with available males for relationship purposes..which i think was the general idea of sex and the city except for samantha's character. i have always loved anais nin's stories because one of the topics she explores often is what anonymous sex means to women...specifically the sex..not really social or physical or to a relationship repercussions. she shows loving it, to confusion, to disliking it. i know that for me engaging in a sexual act with someone i barely know is about as enjoyable as masturbating, and considering the risk, not worth it. but 'barely knowing someone' is relative too; i mean there are charming, brilliant people out there that you talk to for a few hours and feel like you've known for years. great topic !
  10. My husband and I have a joke we like to tease our male friends from high school that claim to want to be married, but have yet to do so 10 years later with: stop meeting bitches on barstools...lol. The same argument for not meeting a man at the bar holds true for meeting a woman at the bar. I'm an alcoholic and give this advice. I think that ideology kind of pertains to this discussion. Find a partner that blows your mind sexually that you equally impress. Then you can get into being a swinging couple (or finding a drinking partner). Until you make the commitment you can still enjoy swinging as a single. If you don't naturally want to take a hiatus from multiple partners (as an adult, over about 22 I assume) and just develop a relationship with the one person, it's not a very good relationship. Anthropologists say most humans go through an "in love" 2-3 year cycle; about the time it takes for a human baby to go from conception to beginning to walk. So if you're not feeling strongly about someone early on, best to look elsewhere. We're designed to have an initial strong connection for the first few years. Whether we make babies or not, the same biological impulses drive us.
  11. i know the movie you're talking about. the scene is with her husband (?) julian. it has "4" in the title..lol. funny thing about this is my husband and i subscribed to her magazine for years and i drew a pic from 'fox', her magazine of the exact scene you are talking about. (it's posted on our pics on our homepage) we ended up renting the movie the magazine stills were from like a month ago..LOL...and didn't know it until we saw that scene. small world. that movie is old too..like 4 years. i tried to do a quick search on google and didn't find it. if i have time in the next few days i'll run by the porn shop and find out what the title is and post it here.
  12. lol...as someone who's never actually participated in swinging, I'm so afraid that like foie gras and opera, I'm going to feel very disappointed when comparing the reality to what I perceived before doing it.
  13. One in each hand and all three holes is my goal. with the 'two in hand' making filthy comments about what they're watching the whole time....lol. So I'd say definitely not alone.
  14. I am very tall, but also have a shallow vagina. I always prefer hard, fast strokes but I'm in the average size penis club. I always say, I like my cervix to stay intact. and even for oral sex and anal sex, really large or long penises aren't appealing, to me anyway. My hubby is just under 7", probably 2" maybe 2 1/2" radius, and he's perfect for oral and vaginal, almost too big for anal, for me, so as goldilocks would say "just right" EDIT: hubby just came in and was reading my posts. lol...he was teasing my math. he is apparently 7 and 1/2 inches and according to his calculations 1" and 5/8ths radius. Good lord you men and your measurements.
  15. that is such an awesome way to put it intuitive. i feel the same way.
