  1. The problem is with condoms. I can get hard easily but if I put a condom on it becomes a struggle. Totally psychological reaction. I KNOW I am not really touching her wearing a condom and I KNOW I never will so I lose interest. With the wife I can wear them KNOWING I can take it off anytime. All about the mind, not the body.
  2. Well HerpesCpl, if you assume everyone has something then swinging is not a good idea. Condoms really are not very effective at stopping herpes or genital warts. They do a decent job at other stuff if there is no penis-vaginal contact whatsoever without a condom on.
  3. Well I have to admit I intentionally used the more pessimistic numbers. I did so because I figured someone would get on here and attack my numbers as being to optimistic and therefore attempting to slant the outcome to the way I wanted. It is kinda funny how I over compensated to avoid being called out.
  4. Well Ross Sally, if my way of getting to less than 1% is incorrect than what would you suggest be done to fix it. When you consider that the estimates for HIV positive people in the US is about 1 million and we have over 300 million in this country it is impossible NOT to come up with a percent less than 1. So please show me where I went wrong so I can understand better.
  5. How big a chance you ask? How does 100% sound. The CDC is engaging in scare tactics to support the current administrations abstinence policy. The CD is supposed to be independent but when you budget is controlled you listen to the controllers. I mean, come on, is oral sex and anal sex really equal risky??
  6. Interesting thread. I worked in immunology for 15 years and was in the field back when (HTLVIII) HIV came out. The stats that are given are general stats and have nearly no relevance to a specific person or situation. If you really want to evaluate your risk you have to consider your own situation. I will use mine to demonstrate the point. I am male and the risk of contracting HIV from a single act of intercourse with an HIV positive female is less than 1%. The number of Americans with HIV is about 1 million (known positive around 500k) which is about 1/3 of a percent out of total population. The percent out of that total between 35 and 55 (my target age group) that have HIV is 25%. This equals 25% of 1/3 of a percent which is about 1/12 of a percent. This means that 1/12 of 1% of the total population is positive that I can possibly sexually interact with. Now even if I do run into the HIV positive person I only have a 1% risk as stated above. So for an act of sex, generally, it's 1% of 1/12 of 1% risk out of your population group. Now Austin has 5000 HIV positive out of 1.3 million people. So my starting number is around the same as the national average of 1/3 of a percent. If you city has less or more you can recalculate. Denver has about a 1/6 of a percent starting point, which is better than Austin. Hope this helps everyone.
  7. Interesting thread. Speaking for myself, I would not play with a couple where I felt there was a risk even using a condom. The chance of a female contracting HIV for a HIV positive male is 1% for a single sex act. This is when the guy is positive for sure. But I do agree it is a personal choice for each person. I do not like them but will, of course, respect the woman's choice. If she wants them and I do not, then we do not have sex.
  8. Well I am a Nice single guy. I do not have a lot of problems meeting couples generally speaking. I do see that most couples are not looking for a nice single guy, they say they are, but frequently what they want is a hung stud with a hard body. A guy who is very hot and has a big dick is sometimes not all that nice..He does not have to develop the good personality. He can "lean" on his looks and cock size. If a couple truely wants a nice guy they should look for an average guy, generally speaking.
  9. One of my pet peeves. American indians are NOT NATIVE Americans. There are no native americans. EVERY persons ancesters came here from elsewhere. The indians came here in several waves and each time a new wave came they took what the previous wave owned. There seems to be this common belief that american indians lived in harmony with the land..not true in most cases. They lived in one area until the land was stripped of what they used to live and then they up and went to a new place.
  10. It seems everyone knows or suspects. My parents did it, My daughter did it, ALL my 6 siblings have done it. My sister gave her husband another women for his 30th birthday. My other sister lives with another cpl. My brother tried to talk me into it with his wife (I declined that offer for sure). I mean I deny it and they all laugh. I was accused of it even before I did it by my mother. I doubt that anyone is really keeping it as secret as they think they are. If your kids are over 16 they know or will know..and so does any adult that you hang around with. There is just something that shows..not sure what it is but its there if a person looks. Thats the trick, once the suspecion is raised its all over baby. If an adult suspects they look harder and its almost undeniable.
  11. I thought it was an interesting point made about the "certified" single male. It ties into the "discreet" single male. For me I always feel like if a certification is made its open for god and everyone to read that I have been with that cpl..which is sort of non-discreet. But since a single male with no certifications sets up red flags I should display them. mmm..guess this is a no win thing. I usually suppress my certifications for the sake of privacy..maybe I will display them in the future. Sometimes trying to do the right things is doing the wrong thing .
  12. I shave the testicles and have for years...I like that it gives me more sensitivity plus the women like the feel of it when they play with my balls.
  13. 545, but nothing was particularily bad to me.
  14. I can cum from oral but its not going to be quick. Almost any women can get me off if she uses her hands as well as her mouth but it will take a while. It has always been this way for me. I do like it and it does feel good, but for me, fucking is the thing I like best.
  15. I rarely use condoms. My usual thought is if I do not trust you enough to have sex without a condom I do not trust you enough to have sex with one. I am thoughtful and careful but there is a risk. But I look at it this way. There are about 900,000 people in America who are thought to be HIV positive. About 500,000 of them are within the ages 35-55. Which is about 55%. Texas has 27,000 HIV cases which is about 16,200 in that age range. About 2,100 of the total 900,000 are from heterosexual contact. That makes the risk .2% which is 420 people in Texas. Take into consideration i only have sex with females and so that is half that number...i.e. - .1% or 210 people. Finally take into consideration the risk of transmission is 3.1 percent (female to male) if the women is actually HIV positive, this will leave you with a risk factor of 3.1% of 0.1% = .003% or less than one person. To look at this another way, that's 3 out of 1000 chance of contracting HIV IF THE WOMEN HAS IT. I can live with that risk as it is way less than almost anything I do. I have included the web sites where the data was obtained. Lot of numbers and maybe I messed up my calculations but at any rate the risk is very small.
