  1. Have also run into a former teacher. It can be a shock, but also cool to know someone else shares a secret interest.
  2. INTJ Introvert(88%) iNtuitive(19%) Thinking(25%) Judging(59%)
  3. I knew going in that we would be meeting the same people. For me, it was easier meeting new people that someone I trusted could vouch for that to go in blind. I tried not to over-think it any more than that. Over time it just seemed like a non-issue. It certainly never seemed to bother anyone else that they knew both my parents and me. Amy
  4. My first introduction to swinging was years before I actually tried it. Even though we hadn't discussed it, I had determined over time that my parents were swingers. I know this revelation affected how I felt about sex as I matured. I was certainly adventurous in my teens and early 20s. Eventually, as I learned more about the swinger aspects, I was more and more determined/curious to try. There was no way to deny how valuable my parents experiences and connections would be in safely exploring the lifestyle. It was the hardest conversation I ever had to start, but I eventually brought it up to my mom. Honestly, the worst reaction I expected would be for her to deny it all and never want to discuss it. My parents were certainly not prudes, and once the secret was out she spoke pretty freely about it, like a weight had been lifted. We had a frank discussion and I convinced her that I had to at least try. A couple of weeks later she called me with the time and location of a small party that they trusted, and the promise that they wouldn't be attending. I was certainly a lot more shy when I walked through that door than I thought I would be, but it was a great experience and I've never looked back. As we were running in the same circles, many of their friends became my friends and although my mom and I (and over time even my dad) did discuss it, we coordinated to not be in the same place at the same time. They stressed that point a lot but I couldn't tell if it was because the idea bothered them, or if they thought it would bother me. Eventually I was the one to test the reaction when I showed up at a party on "their night". There were a few wide eyes at first, but then to my relief it was nothing more than laugh and that hurdle was behind us. I've certainly explored plenty on my own, but I appreciate the unique influence and support they have been as a happy swinging couple. Amy
