  1. Great advice here. Another thought: perhaps your wife's distancing herself from this has a two-part interpretation. One, she is ok with the idea; and two, she wants to absolve herself from any guilt. All wrapped up in one continuing attitude.
  2. The experience was exquisite for us and it had several parts: anticipation, which generated a lot of sex; the experience itself, which was amazing for me (hubby) to witness; and then the reclaiming, when we talked and talked and had sex like bunnies. The part that came after the encounter with the other couple and witnessing her having sex with another man, the reclaiming, was extremely stimulating and has strengthened our marriage bond over a long stretch of many years in my opinion. I would encourage you to heed the advice of the other posters and talk seriously to your partner. Something may be bothering her and some of those issues may influence your relationship negatively.
  3. I have been attracted to small-breasted women and have found that most of them wish for bigger breasts. Not sure of all the reasons, but a lot of it seems to involve the way clothes fit and look, not so they can please a partner. They seem to know that men will appreciate whatever they get! After all, we are simple creatures.
  4. When I first read this, didn't know you were talking about the trimmer!
  5. I'm 75 years old, 50 mg usually does it for me, but I occasionally take 100mg. That causes me to have a flushed face, so don't do that often.
  6. I guess I should have expected this to touch nerves. And get various opinions. Let's take Y2K for instance--maybe the media should be commended for its obsession that then caused people to examine computer programs so that they would be able to accept dates that had the numbers "2000." Maybe. Preparation, anticipation and response are required for all kinds of emergencies. But don't you think some of these responses are extreme? Italy has reported a fatality rate of about 5%. When South Korea expanded testing, they found that the milder cases were not reported and that brought the fatality rate to 0.6%. It is too early to determine if you should cancel all your travel plans, stay indoors, work from home, cancel school, etc. Based on 26 deaths in the US, most of whom had severe health issues. Italy has the oldest population in Europe, so that would contribute to their high number of cases/fatalities. But a reaction causing a loss of trillions of dollars in value/wealth? Gosh, after 11 years of a bull market, it was waiting for a trigger. The effect on the travel and entertainment industries will be huge. I don't know when I have seen the death of 26 elderly persons in Washington state precipitate such a huge reaction. I'm frankly amazed that contributors to this generally reasonable exchange would be reacting with enough fear so as to detract from their usual activities. Inovio has developed a vaccine, but it will take many months, years? to get it to the market. Is it really the "mystery" and the "super hero of diseases?" While the odds are greater than getting hit by a meteor, about like getting hit by a bus?
  7. Humans benefit from healthy sexual activity. Orgasms stimulate the body and mind. These claims are backed by science, but (and this is my go-to for any kind of claim) IT MAKES SENSE. The population of older women has long exceeded men. There are some geographic extremes, such as Russia (total population of 140 million) where there are 11 million more women than men. Think about that. A 50/50 distribution would be 70 million each, men and women. That imbalance puts the split at 75.5 million women and 64.5 million men. One in 7 women is an "extra." Couple that with the horrible history of Russia during Stalin and WWII and the Cold War, and it is remarkable that even an impaired society remains. Post-menopausal women have been awarded an exalted place in some societies, and modern society appreciates, with varying degrees, the "usefulness" of older women. As employees who always come to work and don't have the demands of sick children or other obligations; as experienced professionals, often with decades of gathering knowledge. This will be controversial--they don't have hormonal swings like they sometimes did in their youth. They provide family support, work place stability. In my opinion, these women's lives could be improved by healthy sexual activity. I use that term "healthy" to differentiate from what people on this forum know and recognize, I won't detail. Those of us who are older can attest to our relationships being easier, more supportive and "drama-free" than in our youth. I would conclude that society would be wise to embrace ways and means to deliver good sex lives to mature women. Part of that may be some kind of decrease in the youth-oriented, shallow picture of beauty we see in the media. Another might be swinging. Another might be polyamory. There might be others. My mother was 9 years old before women could vote. A Florida law barring women from serving on juries was deemed unconstitutional in 1961. It's a marathon, not a sprint. I'm not holding my breath and standing on one foot. Maybe someday?
  8. COVID-19 is the latest in a constant series of fear mongering enterprises: Y2K, Anthrax, West Nile Virus, SARS, Bird Flu, Ecoli, the 2008 Financial Crisis/Great Recession; Swine Flu, BP oil spill, the Mayan Calendar, North Korea (now, that one is realistic), Ebola, ISIS and Russia. Nearly every year. I'm worried about the little boy who cried "Wolf" too often.
  9. I have always thought that the advent of the Pill was the green light, the go-ahead for women to safely indulge their sexual urges, within the marriage and non-monogamously. Those of us in our 70's, the Baby Boomers, were the first to achieve our peak sexual years at a time that pregnancy was not a constant worry.
  10. Back to the term, "Professional", used in profiles: I have always thought it was code for "I have to remain anonymous, my job is at stake." Guess I was too simple.
  11. Oh, goodness. When you read these comments you might determine that swingers are as diverse as the population in general.
