Cialis -- an initial report

Recommended Posts

Last time I was at the urologist office, I asked about Cialis. I walked away with a sample box of 30, 5 mg. The drug is, I can tell you, effective in more than one way. I need to arise only once per night to pee rather than three times. And things are happening that have not happened in many years -- unexpected erections in the middle of the day, on-demand erection, longer-lasting erection.

I have asked the doc. to talk Express Scripts. If he tells them the right things, I'll be able to have this stuff for $33 a month. I've been paying that much for just two Viagra.

This is great!

Do you take 5mg daily? If it's too personal, you may take the fifth.

I take 10 mg for 3 days in a row when I anticipate activity is upcoming. I never fail to rise for my wife, but if I am nervous or using a condom, I appreciate the help. I prefer Cialis to Viagra.

Funny how each of the three meds affects people differently. All Cialis does for me is give me crippling back pain for a few days. Levitra is about as effective as a Jelly Belly.

Have you tried Viagra? Also, if you talk to your urologist, he could adjust your dosage.

While I am not a doctor or your doctor, some men have low testosterone. A T supplement is available. It does have strong side effects and can spur prostate cancer, but it helps many. Research it, talk to your doctor, test your T levels.

Yes, a 5mg tab each day. One big reason, it really does help with the nuisance of needing to get up to pee three or four times a night. And that effect does not kick in until you have been on the regimen for about a week.

Glad to hear about the side benefit. Enjoying some youth-like wood is also good.

For about a year and a half, I've been taking a 5mg daily dose of Cialis. This was motivated partly by the fact that my insurance would cover Viagra at only a rate of around 10 a month, which did not seem to allow much in the way of spontaneity! But they would cover a daily dose of Cialis, as it is used to treat BPH (sp?), as well as ED. My doctor was amenable to changing me over to Cialis, so we did!

Not to go off-atopic, but I also am receiving hormone therapy from a "wellness and vitality" center in our area. As part of that treatment regimen, I get implanted pellets of bio-identical testosterone every six months. This delivery mechanism is trouble-free, effective, and provides a more even uptake of testosterone than other delivery methods like injections or oral supplements. I now have a very healthy testosterone level, which provides many general health benefits in addition to improving sexual performance.

This is great!

ExpressScrips required me to have a trial of an Alpha Blocker before allowing the more expensive 5 mum daily Cialis for BPH. I got severe visual migraine with the Alpha Blocker so my Urologist could lobby for the Cialis. That dose of Cialis is not effective for me for sustaining an erection and ExpressScrips won't allow additional oral medication but I can get 6 Edex syringes a month covered.

FYI, Sildenofil 20 mgm, the generic version of Viagra can be obtained for about 50 cents a pill with some of the available coupons on the GoodRx App. Most people would need to take 3 to 5 pills for sustaining an erection for an hour or 2.

Report Continues: the urologist seems to have made a convincing argument with Express Scrips. Each month's supply of 5mg Cialis is going to cost $35. There were times that I was spending that much for two Viagra pills.

In addition, my wife and I are spending a week with 80 other couples at a resort and I am giving my newly-discovered drug a pretty demanding test. I am ready to say that it is nearly miraculous and I have perceived no side effect.

SW_PA_Couple, it's great that you have some initial data, but I recommend continued field trials...

I just paid for a refill of a 90-count supply of 5mg Cialis: $60! I'm happy abut that, even though it was $55 last time. I refilled in order to make sure I was stocked up for the Bliss Cruise in November!

Wish that I had HBP so I could qualify (no, not really), still there are some days when a little help is appreciated. Several years ago (after the divorce), the doc gave me a prescription for Viagra (to help get over the physiological part of the divorce)...5 pills $75! It sucks getting old...but if I wasn't then I wouldn't be ready for this relationship and the L/S.

There is a lot of joking that surrounds ED medication, but if you are a male who has this problem, do not hesitate to discuss it with your doctor and get a prescription. These medications are terrific if they are effective for you without side effects.

I was charged 290 dollars for one month. I just said forget it.
Piecing together the evidence from what my urologist said to me during my most-recent visit and what others have told me, I have concluded that the price depends upon several factors: any extra information that the urologist communicates to the pharmacy when she or he gives the prescription over to them, what the sponsor of the medical insurance or health-care plan has on their allowed or not-allowed lists; how much you have already paid into your "out-of-pocket limit", whether or not you drug plan is bare-naked Medicare or maybe a fully-clothed supplemental plan. I am mildly curious what a governmental plan like Canadian plan might cover, if any of you know. I have also concluded that Express Scrips has little or nothing to do about setting the price. The do it according to the rules set up by the sponsor. I am fairly confident that the pharmacy gives no information to the urologist regarding the price that I will pay.

My plan is one of the several different plans that my employer sponsors.

Just wondering, how do you feel physically after taking the med? How much time does it take to go into effect? How long does it last? Is there more ejaculate?

The situation: We've been in the lifestyle for about 4 years now and I've never had a problem with erection (knock on wood). My problem (if you can call it that) is that lately I have not been able to get it up a second time! I, know, many of you are playing the world's smallest as I write this. All kidding aside, something has to be done...no?

My background: Turning 40 with the libra sun, lost 40 some pounds this last year, don't drink alcohol, don't smoke but enjoying having sex with other men's wives .

The wishlist: The love of my life (ball and chain) is taking me to Vegas next week to celebrate my 40th and it's also our first time in Sin City. I have an appointment with the doc before I leave and wanted to ask for some 'recreational sex drugs' to help with lasting longer amongst other things. However, like the post title says, it's mostly about getting a second if not a third 'woody' so that I am able to "party in your bedroom, all night long" to quote a Top40 song playing at the moment.

The Drugs: Levitra and Viagra are the Pepsi and Coke of the recreational sex drug world with not many differences between the two, while Cialis seems to be of the energy drink flavour such as Red Bull. Like with all things in the world, some claim that Viagra is best and others swear by Levitra and Cialis. I, know it's a matter of personal choice and what works for you but I would like to hear from other guys in a similar siuation.

The Bottom Line: I might drink on a night or two, eat at buffets and have sex with someone's wife...I'd like to be able to have sex with her twice if possible...even with a few drinks in me and too much buffet food!?!

Which recreational sex drug would you recommend to your buddy?

So, me and the wife are new to swinging. We have soft swapped several times and full swapped (or at least tried to full swap) 4 times. The problem is, I was only able to get hard enough for penetration one of those times, and that was only for a few minutes. Last night was another failure. I just need help finding out what the issue is. I mean, I am completely comfortable with this couple, I am very attracted to her, and I'm totally turned on by watching my wife with them, so it just doesn't make sense to me. I even took cialis last night to make sure everything went smoothly. Not even that could do the trick. Im to the point where I'm embarrassed and wondering if I should even try again. Advice?

I was going to post this in the thread about how much Viagra / Cialis to take, but it seemed it should have it's own thread.

I've tried both Viagra and Cialis. I don't know if I'm not taking enough or what, but I can't really tell for sure when it is or isn't making a difference.

I know my problem is 100% in my head since I never ever have a problem with my wife or this one other girl I've seen regularly... but I have somewhat often had problems blowing a flat with a bunch of girls a few minutes into swapping, especially while changing positions.

My biggest frustration: NOT KNOWING THE REASON!!! I mean, there is no commonality between when it does and doesn't happen. It isn't the specific girls, or places, or situations, or anything. It seems totally random. I'll have no problem with a girl, then a problem another night, then no problem again... same girl, same situation, etc. Hell, for all I know it could just be the food I'm eating beforehand?

This one girl lately, we've seen her 3 times in the last couple of months. There's nothing extra good or bad about her... nothing that would intimidate me because she's so hot, or turn me off because she's not hot. Unfortunately, every time I've been with her I've blown a flat a few minutes in.

2nd time with her I took some meds and it didn't seem to make a difference. 3rd time I doubled up and I STILL had a problem in the beginning... but at least it seemed to kick in later since I was able to fuck her multiple times that night. I took them 1.5 hours before, so I figured that would have been plenty of time for them to work, no?

      WHAT THE HELL!?!?

Ideally I'd like to find the common factor between all these times I can't get or keep it up. Again, I know it's 100% in my head, and only happens once in a while... I just can't figure it out the cause!

Independent of finding the root cause, I sure wish I could determine why it seems that sometimes the pills work and sometimes they don't. Hell, I even wonder if sometimes when I take the pills and I don't have problems... if I could have skipped the pill and still not had a problem!?

Am I the only one that's having these issues?

Why can't I just figure out why I can't keep it hard sometimes?

Why isn't it more black / white that the pills are or aren't working? I mean, shouldn't it be: I take them and 60 minutes later I can get a boner and keep it super easily?

I used to use Viagra. I got occasional headaches, so I’ve used Cialis. It generally works. However, my insurance will not pay for it. I am thinking of switching to generic Viagra. What experience has the board had with the generic V?
