So in looking at the clubs and their code on dress attire, I notice that pretty much all of them stipulate "no work clothes." I am kind of assuming they mostly mean "don't come in the clothes that you go out and do construction in" or just not to wear something that is too conservative and not sexy. But I actually kind of like the idea of the whole naughty secretary look and its something I could easily do with the wardrobe I have. I mean I would spice it up a bit obviously, but I know there is a huge preference out there for the naughty secretary thing.

So my question is, if these are technically office clothes but they are done in a really sexy way, could that still pose a problem? Does this kind of thing fall more under a costumed theme night?

Does anyone think a club would turn this kind of thing down?

If you show up wearing an outfit like the one in the pics, you're not going to have an issue at all.

Well, yes you will. You're going to get a lot of "How YOU doin'?" throughout the night. :)

They mean not farm work or construction work clothes like you thought.

They are fine with conservative dress anywhere I've been. Usually it's a signal that you are not actually looking to play. Which I don't pick up on b/c I like conservative dress. I always chat them up to find they are not swingers, just like being at the club. We call them sexy librarians, people at our club who come to dance, watch and be watched, but not interested in any type of swap.

Those outfits you posted would be fine. You will get attention.

Anything you feel comfortable in (with the exception of work-out clothes) will be fine. You see anything and everything and nearly nothing at most swing clubs.

uhhhh, yeah, I think that outfit will work :D

funcoupledayton is right, you will see anything and everything ranging from outfits that make you wonder where they even found that since you've never seen anything like it even on the clubwear websites, to looking like they just came from work, well dressed work though, not dirty jeans and dusty boots work. You will see those that look nice but are dressed more for comfort, and you will see those wearing stuff that is about as far from comfort as you could possibly get.

For what it's worth, we always go with nice jeans that fit right in the right places and a button down shirt for him, maybe buttoned or maybe open and over a solid color nice t-shirt. For her, short skirt (not miniskirt, just not her thing) and a snazzy clubby low cut top. Some variation either a little milder or wilder on either side of that will cover probably most of the people in the club, or at least the clubs we have been to.

I'll make one other comment too since it goes along with the work clothes thing. I'm a guy and certainly no judge of fashion, male or female, but I have seen guys wearing khakis that look way more like they just threw on their normal Monday through Friday outfit than I and other guys do who are wearing a nice pair of jeans. For work, yes, khakis are usually considered a step above jeans on the dressy level, but that doesn't automatically hold true everywhere else. Just my opinion, but well-worn, baggy, and rumpled isn't the best club look, even if you did wear it the last time the Regional Manager called everyone in for a staff meeting.

I'll add to the chorus of people cheering for you to come to our favorite club, dressed like that!

The clubs in our area want women to dress nicely, which basically means you can come in anything you want- just come! I've seen women in t-shirts and sweat pants, women in office attire like you showed, and women in tight dresses with so many slits and cutouts that they would definitely be arrested for wearing them at dinner or the movies! We guys are just happy to have you there! For the guys, our local clubs generally want a collared shirt, no baggy jeans hanging halfway down your butt, and no baseball caps. The smart guys will try to look good! I don't know if I'm smart like that, but I usually go in a short-sleeved button-down shirt (open all the way to my navel to show off the gold chains... Just kidding), and good-fitting jeans.

While some cloths are designed to look sexy, it usually is the woman that is wearing them that puts the sexy into any outfit. Sexy comes from inside a woman, not from what they wear...how esle would it be that a woman wearing nothing but a mans shirt can look so sexy?

Okay, well seems I have the thumbs up here. Good to know we have such a high range of options.

I figure the most common go to for any club is usually the really slutty, ultra short dresses with cutouts, and those are fine but I figure its also important to find something that a) makes you stand out and b) fits your persona more. I kind of like the sexy and sophisticated look. Classy with a little hint of slutty. I'm not in my 20's anymore, so I'm thinking something like that idea might suit my personality more.

I never wear club clothing and will wear something that I've worn the office. Not only do I feel confident in something that fits more traditionally but when I wear it to the office I've got memories to smile out. Any club that turns you down for wearing clothing that makes you feel sexy in is probably not a place you want to be.

Office attire is sexy! The conservative look doesn't hide Titties, the legs, hips n ass and I'm turned on by it. My favorite customers are in office buildings! My eyes and smile stay busy around executive vagina!

I am at the mature end of the swinging demographic as are my play friends. The ladies have their share of curves and character lines and often prefer to wear something when younger, fitter ladies prefer total nudity. This is just to say clothing is totally OK if it makes you comfortable. This is not a photo shoot. This is intimacy and mutual giving. Besides, a little color and texture is nice to see and feel. When I know my partner is shy I can adjust and just observe that as a boundary.

      Now, go shopping.

Still doing my research... I have not mentioned my interest to my sig other yet. My question is this...

I've been reading advice to newbies and almost everyone says how they have a "date" or get together with other couples before the "real date". I've read that people like to get to know each other first, become friends etc. Doesn't this create more emotion in the situation than necessary? I mean I'm thinking that the swinging lifestyle was more strictly about the sex, not creating an emotional connection with other people. My sig other and I have an amazing bond, emotional connection and I want that to be special between the two of us. So if you are getting to know your playmates how do you keep possible emotions out of it?

Also, I'm curious. I wear lingerie all the time for my sig other, but don't really own any sexy clothes... and I'm pretty fit, slim, although a little belly. I'm getting the impression that everyone is crazy attractive and porn star looking and all dress in slutty clothes! Is it expected for the woman to be "dressed up slutty" or how do I phrase it?? I would expect to have a hot sexy little number on under the clothes, but can't you arrive in jeans and a sweater? lol. I know this question will probably make many people laugh but I just gotta ask!

For boating, beach and when appropriate for party wear, I have a selection of sarongs and pareos.  Actually, Amazon has a good selection too.   Robb and I do enjoy shopping for nice sheer and semi-sheer pareos on the Mexican beaches and at resorts.    We think most people do look and feel better with a bit of coverup (LOL).  I can be really self conscious about my butt and thighs so the pareos are really nice.

Off the internet: "What is the difference between a sarong and pareo?  A sarong is a piece of fabric usually between 4-5 foot in length that is worn as a loose fitting skirt or dress. The name sarong comes from the Malay word “sarung” meaning sheath or covering. These fabrics are often dyed in rich colors and were traditionally made with batik fabric.
The Pareo on the other hand was developed in Tahiti and adapted to Western fabric when it was introduced by European explorers in the 1700. In Hawaii, the names are often interchangeable. The modern day fabrics are often colorful vibrant and detailed with floral or some other type of tropical print representing the island lifestyle. Fabrics can be sheer or heavier depending on style.  Today women often wear their sarongs as a short or long skirt with a bikini or as a complete dress cover up."

We just canceled another Mexician resort trip.   We simply don't want to be trapped away from home over RONA and flaky testing.

I always encourage my wife to dress on the provocative side when we go out and she is glad to oblige with low cut tops, no bra showing her pierced c/d breasts.

I always get turned on seeing the double take from people and knowing people are looking. Last night she wore a DEEP v neck that laces up almost the entire front. NO bra and she loosened it up pretty good for the viewing pleasure of others. She loves the attention. We will recap on the ride home about “did you see that guy looking”

As the weather is warming up I picked up an outfit which consisted of a pair of Short torn/battered shorts that lace together at the hip (I will
try to include the online ad for them) and a thin very slinky shirt. She tried them on and OMG instant arousal. She didn’t wear them to any stores and had to change to deal with some gardening but the thoughts of her wearing this out hasn’t stopped running in my mind.

Last night she had a amazon package come which was a lightweight top that looks like someone cut some holes throughout. Around the left breast area 3-4 holes about a 1-1/2”  that once she puts the shirt on areas around her breasts are pressing against the holes Very erotic (think of side boob in a tank top)

I’m looking for thoughts or fun scenarios to parade her around. Usually we will go to the home improvement store for reactions ( not just, I do a lot of improvement work) Honestly her attire is nothing over the top/criminal and if you look around you see the same out there.

Next I was thinking of going to an auto part store ( we need steering fluid) and me walking in first, having her come in shortly after and act like we aren’t together and see her ask for help and see people’s reactions. Have her buy what she needs and leave and see if there is any shop talk after.

We thought about the bar scenario and have done something like she stays with her friends and me with mine. Only 1 or 2 of our friends know we are in the lifestyle. Well thank you for making it to the end. Would love to hear ideas. Be safe.
