Any advice on swingers clubs?

See have some questions for you fine folks, if you don't mind. First a bit of background.

We have fantasized about swinging for some time but are not sure it is for us. We thought the best way to see if and where we fit is to go to a club. We travel a good bit and have looked up clubs online. We haven't gone to one yet because we are uncomfortable breaking the ice. Can anyone recommend clubs in the south east or California that may have folks like us? We are in our mid & late '50s, lots of kids and grand kids, pretty vanilla outside of our own bedroom but love our sex life together. We think a not pushy, classy, friendly atmosphere with good dancing and others our age, and the freedom to just watch and see what it's all about, would work well for us.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Southeast is a large area. We enjoyed colettes in New Orleans on newbie night. Just be wary of the single males. They can be pushy. We are interested in going back on a couples only night to see if the dynamic is any different.

The night we went it seemed the age range was mid 30s to mid to upper 50s. That being said it was newbie night which may bring out a younger crowd. Its hard to tell though as it seems many in this lifestyle seem to keep a youthful appearance for longer.

The hardest thing you will do is walking thru the door. After that everything will get so much easier...and you will feel silly for being afraid to walk thru the door. ANY club you visit will have people just like you. Some younger, some older, some 'prettier', some not as pretty. This is the voice of experience talking. Just find a club and go. Stick to Saturdays since that will be the busiest night and other nights they may allow single men (as already stated they are usually very pushy). Once you have taken that first step and walked thru the door, let the club know that this is your first trip. They will usually give you a tour and/or turn you over to another couple to help out with questions and the like. Make sure that you have already discussed your limits and boundaries and go with no expectations other than having a sexy night out with your partner. From that point what you do is up to you. You will probably be surprised and excited with seeing people naked and having sex and even if you don't do anything more than watch (and watching is okay), you will go home and usually have a very hot night in your bed. The next day, report your findings back here. Good luck and have fun!

If you ever make it to Toronto, Canada, check out The O Zone. Close to the airport, and a quick cab ride to the front door. The O Zone is very much like a regular night club, just sexier and with a theme every night to encourage costume wearing and sexy attire. They don't allow nudity or any play in the night club and social areas. But once you pass thru into the back area, where the playrooms are, you can enjoy a different atmosphere. By keeping the front night club 'ordinary', they attract a LOT of newbies and those who aren't as interested in swinging or public sex, who just enjoy the sexy atmosphere in a night club that isn't full of 20 yr olds.

As suggested, try a Sat night... O Zone doesn't allow single men on Sat's. That can really change the atmosphere. GoldCoCOuple totally have it right! Go and enjoy yourselves with no expectations and you'll go home for the best night of sex you've ever had.
