What is your attraction...

Recommended Posts

What is the first thing that you look at a man to see if he attract you and make you to have a second look for another attraction.

In my case I always look the woman's finger nails, if they look well taking care it means she takes care of hersel. second her feet if she wears open sandals if she wears a close shoe I look for her crotch and last her face.

So, what is your first look either for a man or a woman.

The very 1st thing I notice about a woman is her eyes. Not the color, but whether or not they shine, or sparkle, or whatever the proper word would be. Do they light up? The 2nd thing, oddly enough, would be her hair. I find long hair very attractive. Soft, curly, and long.

I agree with eyes. A smile and other things can be faked but a twinkle in a woman's eyes when you meet her is honest.

I wish we'd encountered more people like you when my wife and I were playing. We're both overweight (not morbidly). I have a slightly-more-than-usual amount of body hair. My penis is not porn-sized. My wife is not bi-anything except bi-racial.

Our personalities, except in two cases, didn't mean squat.

In he vast majority of our experiences, we found that size, bi-ness (of women), race, and "hwp" mattered. A lot. Not that these groups were populated solely by perfume-ad models, yet there were always the written and unwritten criteria, and getting past them was an exercise in futility. A man could be a few steps away from being a complete asshole, but if he had The Right Stuff, nothing else mattered. New entrants into the market were often literally looked at with scowls and glares. Many of the men found "No, thank you" an unacceptable answer, and the women said "no" more often than not. After three years of that, we quit, and my wife doesn't even allow the subject to be brought up.

Eyes, windows to the soul.....personality, adventurous fun loving, good humor......confidence, ability to join in and add to a conversation. The rest is all a surprise package.....like opening a gift at Christmas. Always worked for us.

I think most people did not go down this road so I will do my best. "HWP" is generally important to those who are HWP. People who work out, tend to be attracted to others who do the same (IMO). I will be honest and admit to being one of those people, HOWEVER... I way prefer a kind, overweight soul, to an attractive person who thinks they are "all that". Conceit does not appeal to me (or my partner) in any way, shape or form. I would agree that a smile always attracts me first, but I do look to see if I am attracted to the person second.

I (Mr) don't really look for anything specific. A woman is attractive for many reasons, and it isn't just physical. A pretty face, a beautiful smile, a great laugh...all sexy. Yes, a hot body is wonderful, but not a deal breaker if the body isn't great. If a woman is willing to have a good time, doesn't bring drama, it's a fun time. Heck, there is no perfect body, and it is sad that women strive for something that doesn't exist.

I'd be willing to bet women are more judgmental about looks than guys are in the lifestyle (oh my, I'll be attacked for that comment).

I agree, and would like to add a but of nuance to the above statement about women judging looks more.

It's not that men don't care about appearance. But attraction, as in the overall effect, is sort of binary. It's there or it's not.

Now, a woman can have an attractive appearance, but if her personality doesn't match he won't necessarily remain attracted to her in person.

In the opposite case, there are some fairly plain appearing women, who have great personalities, and become more attractive to a guy as he gets to know her.

What guys don't really do, though, is rank by appearance. He's attracted to her or he isn't. Yeah, she might be smoking hot or average, or a bit plain. But the ranking system is theory only. In real life, it's either a yes or no.

What world do you live on?  I've literally seen guys since high school rank girls by a number system.  She's a 7 she's a 5 she's a nine, but she'd be a ten if her boobs were bigger.  She's a 3, and I don't fuck 3s.  I have heard every one of those statements.  Just because you might not rate women doesn't mean guys don't rate women.  It happens so often it is literally considered a cliche.

This is true, but you also mention seeing this since high school.  I suspect it has more  to do with maturity level than gender.

I agree. There is a guys night every so often where we get together for some poker. All the guys are between 32 and 48. Some talk like they're still in high school. Most don't. Those who do tend to talk about women with a rating attached. It definitely isn't the norm from what I've seen.

Context is everything... this was literally, and specifically about attraction. If you kept reading, you'd see that I absolutely did acknowledge that men DO SEE the differences. My point is that it all boils down to a yes/no. Is there attraction, or not?

If yes, it doesn't matter if she's a 3 or a 10. If no, it still doesn't matter if she's a 3 or a 10.

And for the record... the continuation of the 1-10 system has a lot more to do with women than men. We learn the language of relationships from women. Do you really think guys would invent a terminology puts a large segment of the population off limits with regards to sex? Even more generally with regards to social standing, guys tend to be a lot less subtle and use simpler language than women. Guys can learn to be very good at it, but the social maneuvering game isn't instinctual for most of us.

I respectfully disagree with this. Boys from the age of adolescence to old age sit around in packs and ask, "would you fuck that?" It always leads to comments like, "Hell, yeah, she's hot," to "Yeah, if you put a paper bag over her face." This is immature behavior and is a hallmark of the male persona. Nothing to do with women . . .

I guess it depends on where you are and the situation.  I used to run a company in the Philippines and from time to time we ran employment ads in the local paper.  The guys would occasionally come by and ask how things were going, but the women would come by in groups demanding to go through the resumes.   They were not there to look for good employment matches - they were all there to go through the pictures and try to figure out which of the candidates would be the best date material.   I'd also take groups out to some of the more adult oriented venues (when requested).   The women were always more animated and into the moment.

Anyway, I've seen people behave this way on both side of the gender aisle.  The ones that tend to get more graphic and explicit, at least in my experience, tend to be the women.  I think this may just be a bit more well hidden in western societies.

You nailed it.

The whole "ranking system" is entirely a theoretical exercise; it only exists in the imagination. It's what our minds project onto the person in question. It's only after we actually meet that person when we discover if a level of genuine attraction exists or not. Unfortunately, we've met plenty of people who seemed "attractive"... until they opened their mouths. Lol...

For us, it all boils down to a sensually-based, person-to-person connection. Do we like them? Are they fun and interesting? Do we feel a sensual attraction? Are they practiced in the art of seduction? Are they experienced lovers who know their way around a man or woman--or both? ?

I've met some "church lady next door types" who, aside from my wife, were some of the hottest (and kinkiest!) lovers. What made them so hot? They understood what is possibly the least understood fact about the Law of Attraction:

The BRAIN is the largest sex organ.

Brains, nothing takes the can turn me from hot to cold faster than a woman that acts or is dumb. Don't care how hot they look of they can't think for themselves or are dumb.

do you proof read your posts?

Sometimes, but my administrative assistant proofs more of my correspondence and I don't need the harassments claim so I have not asked her to handle my posts.   I guess I became a accounting tax guy to avoid the grammar police.
