We've been once. I wasn't that crazy about it. Loud music, awkward seating. We're not big fans of on-premise playing, so can't really pass judgement on that part of the facilities. We have friends who really enjoy going, but they love dancing, which I'm not so much a fan of.

Huh. Well, maybe we'll have to just go and see for ourselves. I just wasn't sure about the "vibe" or atmosphere. For example, I've heard that Wicked is geared toward the younger/hotter crowd and that their velvet rope policy meant that old farts like ourselves probably wouldn't get in anyway. By contrast, Eros is OLD SCHOOL, as in handlebar moustache, polyester, hairy chests and gold medallions the size of dinner plates. We haven't been to any clubs in more than a decade, so they're all new to us. The last time we went, on-premise play areas were still illegal.

The crowd tends to be young at NYX; there seemed to be a fair number of tire-kickers. We're not big club people (Eros?? Is that in Toronto? We've been doing this for nine years and I've never heard of it); never been to Ozone, X, or Wicked, just M4 and not many times there. Give me a good house party any day- but sadly, in our circle, it seems only two of us ever have them any more, and we two host couples are getting a little tired of it.

We've actually never been to a house party before. Maybe we'll have to host one ourselves.

Club Eros was the first club we ever went to, and yes it's in Brampton. Apparently it's been in operation since 1972. Like I said, OLD school. It had a very tired, dated feel to it, even more than 10 years ago.
